Then can I request a kylian fic where the reader is Jude and jobe Bellingham’s older sister and she is about 20/21 yo and she gets sm dms from different players, basketball players singer etc etc.. but then she gets a dm from kylian ( and kylian is her celeb crush) so she is over the moon then her brothers find out and become so overprotective over her.
Thank you for reading this long request bbs
❤️❤️❤️
Celebrity crush (Kylian Mbappe x Reader)
Warnings: none really, just celebs flirting with you and being kind of suggestive I guess
Masterlist
Pt 2 Pt 3 Pt 4 Pt 5
"Hey, Jude, care to tell me what your friend is doing on my dms?"
That definitely catches your brother's attention, walking over and taking the phone from your hand, his eyes widen when he sees Haaland react to your story with heart eyes, fires and a: looking good, Bellingham
"What an asshole" your brother says, scrolling up to see more messages like that from his friend "Any other friend of mine over your dms?"
You see your brother's intention of checking out more messages, you stand up, taking the phone off his hand, making him and Jobe -sitting on the couch, previously distracted, but now with a watchful eye staring at you-surprised.
Jude raises an eyebrow "What was that about?"
You give him a nervous smile "What was what about?"
"Taking the phone off his hand" Jobe says "What are you hiding?"
"Nothing, just don't want my little brother going through my dms"
"Do you have a boyfriend that you don't want us to know about?" Jude asks, his arms crossed, imitating your father whenever he saw you with some boy.
"And where did you get that from?"
"I don't know, you have been pretty cheery recently, not as annoying, and know are hiding something on your phone"
"You really want to see who else dms me?"
"I surely want to know if you are -Jobe cover your ears- hooking up with any of my teammates"
"I know what hooking up is...."
"Seriously, Jude? Fine, here, take it, I don't think you will find any of your friends there, but who knows?"
Honestly, Jude was kind of joking when he made his drama queen act about the dms, but he is not about to miss the chance of seeing who messages his dear sister.
Pedri González: coming any time soon to Barcelona? I can show you around the city and some real fun
Jamal Musiala: looking great, makes me want to show you who the best team of the Bundesliga really is
Harry Styles: wanna come to my next concert? Then we can find something better to do
Hero Fiennes Tiffin
Jude doesn't have time to read what that one said as his eyes go to the next name, he has that look that says: bullocks.
"You can't be serious, Kylian Mbappe?" he shouts, Jobe is instantly next to him watching your screen, your cheeks red.
Your brothers are speechless as they scroll over months of conversations in between you and who they know to be your celebrity crush, unbelieving when they see it was Kylian -or, Kyky as you call him-was the first to reach out to you, reacting to some story of yours of you tanning on the beach.
The man has invited you to France and all, and even offered to be the one to come and see you, doesn't matter if you are in Germany or England, he says he wants to see you.
"I can't believe it..." Jude sighs, Jobe nods.
"And you didn't tell us!"
"Because just look how crazy you are now. Besides, it's nothing serious, we are just friends"
"Yeah, right, that's why he constantly ssays you are hot and is desperate to see you"
"We are friends"
"You still should have told us!" the younger of the two says.
Jude is still for a second, seemingly deep in thought -you refrain from commenting how your never thought him to be one capable of thinking- he opens the camera, pointing at him and Jobe, whispers something at the younger one, you are confused, but refrain from saying anything as you see him press record.
"Hello Kylian, I am Jude, this is Jobe, but you must already know that judging by how much you seem to talk to my sister. You see, this video is just a warning to be very careful on whatever match we see each other next in, because I will be going after you. What on Earth is this about flirting with a maybe-future teammate's sister. Not cool at all, right Jobe? "
"Yeah! Not cool! At all!" you can't help but snort.
"So, yeah, just sleep with an open eye, and also, forget about my sister, she is too good for you even if she is pretty annoying"
"What? I am not annoying!"
"Yes you are, now shut up, I am not done yet" Jude turns again to the camera "Or you can continue talking to her and see what happens. Anyways, now I am finished, see ya around, Kyky"
They send the video, looking pretty proud of themselves.
Kylian opens your message as soon as it arrives as he always does, Jude and Jobe expectant for his reaction.
A couple of minutes later, a video from him arrives too, your brothers opening it without delay.
"Hello, Jude, Jobe, of course I know who you are, because you are right, I spend day and night talking with your sister and I don't intend to stop. I am pretty exited for what you will supposedly be doing next time we see each other Jude, I am sure you have some tricks up your sleeve - so do I, by the way. Really hoping we do end up as predicted on the same team, to see the look on your face when y/n uses my number instead of yours. Also, tell your sister to call me later, and don't be surprised when she travels to Paris on the next couple of weeks, she will be with me, my treat. Take care care you two, and give the phone back to your sister, I have something to show her"
Your brothers are speechless, and you, can't hp but laugh, taking your phone you start walking off, but turn to them "Oh, yeah, I will be asking you later for some tips about what to wear to Paris. I want to look my best, you know?"
You laugh at their expressions, a gentle smile taking over your face when a text from the man himself arrives, this time for you.
Your brothers are pretty funny, love, but we will also have to make sure to fill up the internet with photos about us when you come to me. Just as a payback.

Looking back at the 2024 European Football Championship, it is time to reveal my perhaps most controversial game design opinion: They need to make the goals bigger, or the field shorter. Bigger goals would be a problem with penalty kicks, but they could find a solution for that.
It's just good game design. Many games end 1:0 or 2:1, or in case of a league game, 0:0 or 1:1. At the national level, you get more interesting games more often, because there is just a lot more variation in skill, so you sometimes get a 4:2 or a really impressive and unlikely goal. Or maybe tournaments are just smaller and with fewer games, so you don't see that many interesting goals. Honestly, most of the Bundesliga is boring, you just see the interesting ones when you call in to vote for the "goal of the week" every Saturday.
Still, I think more goals would be good game design. No more games that end in 1:0, with the winning team carefully trying to save their advantage until the 90th minute.
There is no real way to get a favourable position and defend it for more than five minutes in sports like football or tennis or even basketball. Everything basically "resets" every so often, and the only resources you have are the stamina of your players and yellow cards. That doesn't mean football is a bad game, or a boring game, but it is very unlike chess in the same way that tennis, basketball, and ice hockey are unlike chess. At the same time football is unlike tennis, basketball, and ice hockey, because a game if football can have only one goal at minute 25 and end with a score of 1:0.
I think that's boring, and it's bad game design. Very often, I watch a football game and I think "this team played better than the other team most of the time, but they still lost."
It's not just me. I hear this from colleagues and acquaintances and TV sports commentators and "man on the street"/"vox pop" clips in the news after the game: They played really well, except for that one time when the other team scored that goal. The metrics on the screen during the game agree with that assessment: More ball possession, more attempts at goal, more shots that would have hit the goal – if it weren't for the opposite team's goalkeeper – but no goals.
It may sound like I am denigrating the strategy that goes into high-level football. I don't. I understand that football is more than just running really fast and kicking the ball really hard. When teams decide on their formations it's not just a matter of taste, it's not arbitrary. It's an important strategic choice that depends on the opposing team's formation and the strengths and weaknesses of the players that are available.
I also understand that games that end in 1:0 after one goal scored at minute 25, are very appealing to many watchers. There is still everything to play for. If your team scores a goal during minute 88, you even it out and it goes into overtime. You can still win! If, hypothetically, football games were to regularly have a score of 15:11 at minute 85, instead of 3:2, it would feel much more difficult to come back from that.
It's not like people don't watch basketball, or Olympic handball, or ice hockey games to the end. It's not like football fans never follow hockey. But football doesn't need to be hockey. The game "resets" more often in basketball, so football is more "strategic", in some ways. People who watch football already like it that way.
If they made the goals bigger, there would be less bitching and moaning about that one penalty kick, or that one off-side that decided the game.
It's just good game design.

Hi , sorry to disturb you, do you think nwsl is the worst league in the world ? I don't understand the slander . Yes we have lots to improve in terms of players transfer and abuse and coaches. But the way the fans are going on like it is a retirement league. I am an uswnt fan and I try to follow every league as much as I can but sometimes can't stand the slander of the league. Every league is not perfect and has its pros and cons. I want every league to do well. That's it.
well the uzbek and colombian leagues could definitely use some more improvement than the nwsl
it's not the worst league in the world. i think in terms of competition, it's the strongest with teams on equal footing
but
i don't like it and it makes me uncomfortable like all us leagues in all sports (basketball, baseball etc.) . it's good to watch but there's no loyalty, little local ties and the stories just aren't the same and the protection for players is not there at all. the ability to trade players, move clubs, change their names etc. etc. and the reliance on the college system is terrible. imagine if arsenal could up and move to fucking huddersfield and leah gets traded to chelsea. it's weird and wrong for fans, for players, for everyone. you need loyalty and the system is set for money not players and fans
and their method of no longer relying on college is hurting young players. there needs to be a better youth system. having a 14 year old play for you is not a flex, it's a child labour (a crime). a lot of leagues have age restrictions and they are a good thing, they protect kids. high level sport is not something their bodies are ready for. other teams have youth leagues or b teams which properly prepare them, not hurt them
that's not to say the wsl and bundesliga and liga f don't have problems. they are clearly not competitive and often not prioritised by the men running them but a lot of the rules that those men's leagues have are good. they have been fought for by unions for a LONG time and they are there for a reason, protecting kids and protecting fans and protecting players
i think to a lot of european fans, the nwsl is unfamiliar and feels wrong. we have been around footie all our lives, in most of our countries it's a way of life so doing it differently unsettles us especially when it hurts players and fans so we are more inclined to call it out
don't get me wrong, european leagues have their problems. 99 of them are the men in charge but there are a lot of steps towards change and with some money they could get there. and the problems that aren't solved by men getting off their asses and funding women's teams/football are normally problems that also exist in men's football and yeah we know but we also know it won't change. the nwsl feels like it has more capacity and ability to change it's bad rules so people call it out
the men's league in the usa is a retirement league but the women's isn't imo. i think retirement in women's football atm is different for each player. spanish it's mexico, rest of europe it tends to be a return to their local/hometown clubs eg demi stokes to the greatest club in england, toni duggan to everton, maren returning to her hometown norwegian club etc. etc.

hi love could you maybe write something with jamal musiala x girlfriend reader where she's 2 years older than him and has older male Friends and jamal sees a instagram Story of reader and them at a Club he's so jelous and calls her so many times and comes to take her home with him💃❤
Hello! I wrote the best I could. Hope you enjoy it xx
Cinderella and Prince Charming
Jamal Musiala x fem!reader Warnings: None, I think
He thought that with time he would understand it, accept it and move on, but he did not. You were two years older than him, it was not a lot, to be honest, but he knew that you were more mature and had your ideas ordered in life, not like him. You just finished a degree and planned to study a master on September; You even sent a CV to work in a company specialized on your career, currently waiting for an answer. However, he was a kid in front of the world, even in front of his teammates, but could he blame them? Not really. He played football, yes, and he was living his dream, but football, as F1, or basketball and any sport, the day of tomorrow was uncertain; one day you are at the top of the world, and the next, no one knew about you any more. That was his biggest insecurity, that you were around people similar to you, ordered, mature and responsible, and that if you ever left him for one of your old friends, it could be justified.
He was leaving the locker room, after a tough session with his club, when he heard the notification sound from his phone. The message he didn't want to read appeared before his eyes, “Sorryyy! Tonight I’m going to the club with my uni friends. What about tomorrow evening? Ily x” he asked you to meet after a long time apart from each other; he was travelling and playing the last matches of the Bundesliga, while you were finishing the last exams of the degree, however, you had another plans and he was jealous. Yes, jealous. Not so much about you going to club, that was the least of the matters, he also went to clubs, but jealous of all these college friends, who shared their life ideas with you, hobbies and could actually understand you when you speak about your subjects and exams, something that Jamal could not.
After some hours, he had dinner, played some video games and even started a novel that you left the last time you stayed. He was waiting for a last message from you that could assure him that you were at home, fine and safe. To “kill time”, he entered Instagram, a place where you could spend hours that felt like minutes, just like TikTok or Twitter. He made a mistake; the first user that appeared was yours, he opened the video and there was a video you “re-uploaded”: you were there with your, he would say: "amazing, black dress," and you were smiling next to Robert, one of those uni friends. Robert was tall and had black hair that highlighted his green eyes – he was the one who Jamal hated the most, to be honest. Both of you were laughing out loud about something Mary, at the other said, told you. "That Robert” as he called him sometimes, had his arm around your shoulders, while you drunk from your glass.
It was 2 AM, and he started to assume that he would have to drink three cups of coffee before going to the training session, a heart attack was better than an angry Tuchel. He started to worry as you were never this late from clubbing; you enjoyed it, but you would quickly get out as the environment, the strong smell of alcohol and specially your heels would stress you and send you home in three hours. Jamal started calling you, no answer received.
After 17? 18? or 20? – he lost the counting – calls, he went to his bedroom to get changed. He knew which club you frequented, since he picked you up more than once. On his way, he prayed to God that you would be there, and most importantly, that you would be fine.
He entered the club; the ambient was anxious to him, and he understood why he enjoyed these places only when he was wasted and laughing at any of Müller’s jokes. He quickly localized you and your friends, and he felt relieved when Robert was not here, or that Robert. He called your name and your friends to catch all the group’s attention.
“Jamal!” You shouted as you saw his familiar figure walking towards you, “I am so glad you are here” you hugged him, or rather threw yourself on him
“Oh Lord!” He quickly caught you, “Are you drunk?” A silly question, really, your face said more than enough
“Only a bit” You let out a small laugh
“Alright, now” He held you better, trying to put your arms on his waist and his on your shoulders, but you weren’t helping “y/n please help me, so we can go out, okay?” He pleaded, you nodded, but you didn’t help.
Both of you left that and ambient and you finally smiled when you felt the cool air outside
“You’re my príncipe” You smiled at him
“Príncipe?” He tried to repeat with a Spanish accent
“Maya said it means prince, so you are my prince because you came and saved me from that place”
“Why didn’t you answer? I called you a hundred times” He asked you as you he made your way towards the car
“You did?” You asked confused and took your phone from your purse, “Let me see… oh! It doesn’t work Jamal” You gave him your phone as you pouted
“I think it just doesn’t have battery” He gave you the phone back and smiled as he saw the car closer, but then he heard you sobbing “No y/n! Why are you crying, what happened?”
“My heels are killing me, I might bleed and lose a lot of blood” You let out as he opened the car’s door
“But don’t cry, look we’re here already” He helped you to sit down, “now we remove this heels, and we go home to rest, alright?” He cleaned your tears and left a small kiss in your check, before kneeling in front of you to take off those heels.
“I am Cinderella” You said as he gave you small smile
“I would be your Prince Charming any day”
Once at home, he gave an aspirin and a big glass of water, he changed your clothes to a comfortable big shirt of his that, and a Bayern sweatpants, he may appear murdered in the morning because you were a Borussia Dortmund fan, but he didn’t have anything else.
For Jamal, it was enough that you would spend the night between his arms.
Not Musiala scoring that last minute gol! (imagine the scenario in this context) Not a Bundesliga fan but my heart breaks for Reus.
About F1: Praying for Alonso's 33 and finally!! they are in my city, Sainz and Fernando are home, looking forward for a beautiful race
I hope you guys enjoyed it x. Any comments about my writing are welcome. Thanks for reading! and, btw I couldn't think about a better title.

hi judith!! i hope you are having a nice sunday 🤸♀️ i just wanted to ask how big is volleyball and handball in germany? like i only see the football and basketball national teams being talked about online so i was wondering 😙 (ps mwah mwah for consuming my vball nonsense)
hi :)
it's funny that you mention the basketball team because while i don't think basketball is unpopular in germany, i don't think it's as popular as handball. i'd say the sudden popularity spike online is because the german basketball team rather unexpectedly (like, unexpected for the broad masses, i have seen some experts call them the dark horse of the world cup tournament) won the world cup last year.
but if i compare the screen time (in the german free tv) the handball nt gets compared to the basketball nt (and also the german handball liga), i'd still say handball is more popular. which might just be cause the german handball clubs do relatively well in european competitions, like the champions league (i'm not sure about basketball).
i've also looked at various statistics regarding popular sports in germany, and all of them put handball infront of basketball - sometimes basketball isn't even in the top ten of popular sports.
i also don't know how popular handball is in north america cause i've seen more interest in the german basketball nt come from there, which is understandable, cause a lot of the basketball nt players are playing in the nba (a couple years ago that wasn't the case).
volleyball is really unpopular, like if i wasn't interested in sports and following the olympics quite closely, i wouldn't even know that the volleyball nt qualified for olympia. cause most reporters mention the football team, the basketball team and the two handball teams and that's basically it for the team sports. like i can't even tell you if they're good or something or what clubs there are in the bundesliga.

Deutschribing Germany
Sports
Germany ranks fourth in the Olympic Games medal count, having won 922 medals in both Summer and Winter Olympic Games since 1896. The country has hosted international sports events such as the 1936 and 1972 Summer Olympic Games in Berlin and Munich, the 1936 Winter Olympic Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and the 1974 and 2006 FIFA World Cup. It will host the UEFA Euro 2024.
Soccer
Soccer is the most popular sport in Germany. The Bundesliga (“federal league”) is the top professional soccer league. Clubs such as FC Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach, RB Leipzig, SV Werder Bremen, and VfB Stuttgart take part in it. The most successful team is Bayern Munich, having won thirty-two Bundesliga titles.
The German men’s national soccer team won the Olympic Games in 1976, the World Cup in 1954, 1974, 1990, and 2014 and the UEFA Euro in 1972, 1980, and 1996. The women’s national team is also a world power, having won the Olympic Games in 2016, the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2003 and 2007 and the UEFA Women’s Euro in 1989, 1995, and 2001, making Germany the only country to have won both the men’s and women’s World Cup and European titles.
Handball
Germany, together with Denmark, is regarded as the birthplace of handball, as the first match took place in Berlin. The men’s national team has won the Olympic Games once, the IHF Wold Men’s Handball Championship three times, and the EHF Euro twice. The most successful team in the Handball-Bundesliga is THW Kiel.
Basketball
The most successful clubs in the Basketball-Bundesliga are Alba Berlin, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Brose Bamberg, and USC Heidelberg. Notable German basketball players include Dirk Nowitzki, Elias Harris, Linda Frölich, Shawn Bradley, and Tim Ohlbrecht.
The German men’s national basketball team has won only one international gold medal at the 1993 Eurobasket, as well as one silver and two bronze medals. The women’s national team has won only one medal in international competitions, a bronze one at the 1997 Eurobasket.
Ice hockey
Germany has hosted the Ice Hockey World Championships seven times and the Ice Hockey European Championships four times. The men’s national team has never won an international competition, but has won seven silver medals, and is ranked seventh in the world.
Motorsports
Germany is one of the leading motorsports countries, having manufactured countless race winning cars. Notable Formula One champions include Michael Schumacher, Nico Rosberg, and Sebastian Vettel.
The country hosts the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, a sports car racing series based in Germany, with rounds in other European countries. Since 1995, only German car brands are allowed to compete.
Winter sports
Germany is also very successful in winter sports, being the only country in the world to have four bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton tracks. It has won more medals in bobsledding than any other country in the world, if those won by East and West Germany are included.
The country also dominates biathlon, luge, and skeleton thanks to athletes such as Sven Fischer and Uschi Disl in biathlon, Felix Loch and Natalie Geiseberger in luge, and Anja Huber and Kerstin Jürgens in skeleton.
Notable skiers include Tobias Angerer in cross-country skiing, Martin Schmitt in ski jumping, Eric Frenzel in Nordic combined, and Katja Seizinger in alpine skiing. Claudia Pechstein is renowned in speed skating and Katarina Witt in figure skating.
Tennis
The two most successful German tennis players of all time are Boris Becker and Steffi Graf. The former won six Grand Slam titles, and the latter won twenty-two, becoming the only tennis player to win all four Grand Slam titles and the Olympic gold medal in the same year.
Cycling
Jan Ullrich is one of the greatest riders, together with Tony Martin in individual time trial races and André Greipel among road sprinters. Germany has hosted the start of the Tour de France four times.

ig it also deends on where you’re from and the exposiure around womens sports. despite not having a pro league in canada, i still grew up hearing about christine sinclair and her impact on the game. its the same for womens hockey with marie-philip poulin. even if people dont watch womens sports, its those recognisable names that drew me initially into watching womens sports. it helps that ive always enjoyed playing/practicing various sports so the interest was there to begin with :)
one of my biggest regrets is honestly not having been into football in 2015 when we had the world cup. i was barely 11 and i had stopped playing soccer by that point so i didnt even think of going. i was wayyyy more into hockey and basketball since those were my main sports along with skiing at the time 🥲
-baby canada
it for sure makes a big difference how you grew up. idk about my own experience though, it definitely wasn't like it was for you.
sadly things like that happen too often :( I have those same regrets, I spend 2+ years in a bundesliga city when freaking pernille harder and caro hansen and so many other great players played in the league!! also lived in england where I could've easily gone to wsl games every weekend 😭 now I look back on it and really wish I'd been into woso at the time but oh well, nothing to do about it now

THIS IS COOL!
Jo Caird, Jody Cameron, “Georgie” Paula George, Rachel Howard, and Dani Marshall have come together in what is believed to be a world-first: the first time a sports team has been solely owned, coached, and managed by an all-female team.
Starting in October, the BNZ Kāhu team will compete to retain their national championship title in the rapidly growing Tauihi league, which enters its third season in 2024.
The new owners include four former elite athletes, Olympians, and world champions across five sporting disciplines:
Jo Caird - a former New Zealand Junior Tennis representative, the first official photographer for the All Blacks, and co-author of the book “Our GameMakers” which shared 52 stories of people who shaped women’s rugby.
Jody Cameron [Ngāpuhi, Niue] - a New Zealand basketball legend, 2004 Olympian, Commonwealth Games silver medalist, former Tall Ferns assistant coach, and current coach of the reigning-champion BNZ Kāhu basketball team.
“Georgie” Paula George – a double international (rugby and netball) who competed in 6 World Cups for England and Wales, a World Cup winner and former Captain of the Red Roses England team, and current scholarship manager for the Tania Dalton Foundation.
Rachel Howard - a former Football Fern who represented New Zealand in the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup and 2008 Beijing Olympics, former player in the German Frauen Bundesliga, and current brand-building executive at one of the top global sports brand.
The fifth owner, Dani Marshall, is the founder of womenzsports, New Zealand’s award-winning media outlet dedicated to women’s sports, and Instagram’s fastest-growing community of women’s sports fans in Aotearoa. Originally from the U.S., Dani brought experience from a career in tech and digital when she immigrated to New Zealand in 2022.

I’m so excited for the direction this could take basketball in Aotearoa. They’re a new league, only three seasons in so this is a massive step.
