who: @burninqhill ( lux )
where: it's a mystery that bash isn't privy to
there were few people in the world that actually intimidated bash while still earning his full respect. lux was high up on that list. that was why, counter to his instinct, when they told him they were taking him along to handle some business, bash didn't argue. walking backwards while they moved forward, he started his string of questions and random thoughts that he just couldn't seem to hold back, ever. "so where are we going, oh captain my captain? is it cool? are you going to hurt someone?" he tripped on his feet and stumbled a bit then turned to face forward before he made a fool of himself. "do i get to hurt someone? is it a sneak attack? should we be wearing all black right now?" he had not the slightest clue where lux was bringing him this time. "we should stop for snacks, or like, a full ass meal if we're going to be on a stake out. i have a high metallic or whatever that's called. or energy drinks! have you ever drank an energy drink, lux?" he had to admit, they didn't seem like the type but if bash new anything about lux, it was that they were full of surprises.

"but" there was always a question when it came to bash, a counter or a curiosity. what lux said didn't make sense to him. sometimes when she spoke it registered but other times it just seemed like a puzzle he was supposed to try to solve. he never was all that good at puzzles. "why am i even here if i can't talk and it's just an easy dropoff? do i get to at least threaten them with a knife or something?" truly he thought there'd be more weapons in this gang thing, but he did like the dealing part. he was better with all that anyways. on his own, he wasn't very threatening without some help. maybe that's what lux was teaching him now. "wait. are you teaching me how to be scarier? is that what this is? am i going to learn some new instimulation tactic?" that wasn't the word, no it had to be. "i guess i got it, i think." he didn't like being quiet though, that was boring. he wasn't going to argue with lux on that part either. so he figured he'd get it all out of his system now so he could pay attention later.
if the jade tribe was going to be successful, they needed its members to be nothing short of clever. this business was harsh and fast-paced, and lux needed them to be ready for anything. she'd detested the idea of bash being under their belt of responsibility when becoming underboss, all but begging liena to put him under marcia instead. of course, liena was never easily swayed, so lux had no choice but to buckle up and put the work in. that's why they'd dragged him along today in an effort to instill some sort of self preservation and tact into his thick skull. unfortunately, lux doesn't think they're going to get very far if the way he trips over his own feet is anything to go by. lux has learned to tune out most of his ramblings — it's the only way they can maintain any sense of sanity in his presence. "this is the deal," she starts, a heavy sigh falling through her lips. "you're gonna stand beside me, and you're not gonna say a damn thing unless i tell you to." she would not be telling him to. "it's an easy dropoff, but this guy owes us some back pay, and we don't do handouts. got it?"
