Oh real haha funny, this bird. Normally when he said bird he meant broad, but in this instance he meant bird, and his companion made up some funny little terms to say the same. 

A broad grin split Beowolf's lips. "Oh, yeah, you got so much to learn, Miss Queen of Archanea. You need a big strong man to show you how it's done, for sure." A snort, disdainful, and he reached for some of the debris leftover by the incredible strike. "You pulverized this shit – dunno if you Lagoons'r whatever just beat ass like a runaway freight cart, but I ain't buying your 'pretendin' to be surprised' bullshit." 

He straightened, wiping the dust from his fingers and sized up the next rock. Now, he already knew that Naesala was fluffing him up – didn't take an idiot to clock him as a hustler, but, well, like called to like, didn't it? He'd fudged his way through a bargame or two, but as long as it was all in good fun and the drink flowed afterward, then it couldn't do much harm, could it? 

"This one." He patted another stone, standing firm and tall beside a similar pile of rubble from a previous competitor. Beowolf pretended to circle it with a discerning eye, taking in all its cracks and crevices, and giving the side a test lick for good measure. He nodded, as though it had meant anything to him. "Good age, hm. Blue soapstone," probably, "from the mountains of Faerghus," maybe. 

He tapped the knuckle of his gauntlet against the side, and grinned at the sound of the ting. "Oh yeah, this is the one. Stand back, folks - !" 

Rearing back dramatically – only dramatically, his form was abysmal, but it was just a game so who gave two shits? - Beowolf launched his fist forward, hearing once more that gentle ting of the steel against stone -  

Roll!: 2, 8 = Wow! No one's ever done it worse! 

And heard it again as the gauntlet sheared the knuckle separate from the glove, digging and embedding itself within the space between his fingers. 

"AH, SHIT!" He curled into himself in a manner most dignified, pacing and circling and spiraling, clutching the hand to him as though that might have prevented whatever awful grinding sensation was coming from what had certainly been dislocated.
