I finished my Barbie a few days ago and forgot to post her. But here's my participation to the #vintagebarbieredraw challenge on Insta. It reminded me of all the Barbies I had as a kid. Soooo many Barbies.

I don’t buy a lot of modern Barbies but I had to make an exception for this one, which has the Superstar Barbie vibe I love so much:

I didn’t realize the hair was a bit messy in this one (I’ll need to wash out all the product anyway) but still look how pretty this doll is:

And here she is with the original Superstar:

I wanted to switch dresses for some pics but the dress for the original Superstar is too narrow in the hips for this new dolly. I did manage to get Superstar a Barbie in the pink gala dress (although the back doesn’t full close):

I love that Mattel is embracing Barbiecore like this!

Happy 64th Birthday to the blonde icon, #Barbie 💕 To celebrate, I created these glam party designs featuring Barbie & her iconic friends #Teresa & #Christie. My fave eras from Barbie are late 90s/early-mid 2000s, so those years served as inspo for these. Which look is your fave? 💜💖💚 For me, Barbie has always been about serving a fantasy…an escape from the real world. I never saw her as a “regular” or “ordinary” girl, & she never needed to be…she’s a fashion doll! She was about unapologetic glamour, luxury, sophistication & high quality designs, but she could also be youthful, edgy & daring when she wanted to be.
