They’re in so much pain 😫😫 but in this sport, you have to learn how to adapt. I cut back on sumo to 5 singles instead of the prescribed 10 singles. W8D3: Sumo Deadlift ———————————————————————— Sumo deadlift @ 375x5x1 Stiff-legged deadlift @ 235x4x3 Close grip pulldown Hip abduction ———————————————————————— Ditched the straps again, to get used to holding heavy things. I remember this around this time of my last block, I failed to do 375 for more than 1 single so I guess this is progress. Moving in the right direction. The 5th set, the bar moved a little forward on the pull and kinda shifted my balance so that took some adjusting. But overall, it moved relatively quick. ~2.5 more weeks. First week back with pause squat and doing them low bar. Overall felt pretty good as well as deadlifts. Decided to ditch the straps for these to get used to holding onto the bar myself. Only a few weeks left to fine tune everything.
