Order through Chaos

every now and then we are dumb-struck by a piece of design not mapped to conform to our pre-programmed system.

the standardization of conventional design has lead to a few misleading unforseen issue's.

because we have gotten used to using a certain object in a certain way, we begin to find it rather hard to comprehend different methods of using such a device.

my sister for example at the cinema, was attempting to use this back machine outside a cinema. because the slot for inserting bank cards was vertical as opposed to the more predominant horizontal configuration, it confused her to the extent that it took 2 min's for her to figure out her blunder.

i do  however feel that the unconventional design can make things alot more intriguing when we address objects that are designed to be on display for the majority of their life cycle.
