I can’t for the life of me remember if I ever posted this but here’s a implied yandere todd x thompson fic

Thompson wished he could say that nothing ever happened in this godforsaken town. Any time an out of towner asked him how his job was, he would love to say that his job was easy. That all he had to do was roundup loose cattle every once in a while.

With the constant crime, this town was like hell. Not a day went by when the damn bank wasn’t being robbed or someone’s horse was stolen. Or hell, when someone robbed Todd. No one ever seemed to learn from other’s mistakes here either. Too many bandits have been found dead after robbing Todd, the Red Bandit’s signature mark branded into their cold skin.

The implications of that never failed to give Thompson an awful headache so he chose not to think much of it. It could absolutely be excused of the infamous man taking care of the town he probably resided in. If Thompson ignored the fact that he only did this for one business in town.

Constant days like this was why Thompson had constant bags under his eyes, though one was covered by his eye patch, and not a night went by where he hadn’t sat in the saloon. Even when he stayed past closing Todd never minded his company.

He would just sit next to Thompson on a stool and together they’d sit in silence until Thompson left or passed out.

It was a calming routine. One not even broken when Todd’s inventory was empty.

Tonight however, was different. For one, Todd had closed up his bar early, flipping the sign soon after Thompson had sat down. Next, he poured himself a drink and took a seat next to him.

“You didn’t get robbed again so I can’t imagine you had that rough a day.”

Todd snorted, “Maybe those damn fools have finally gotten the hint,” he said. He took a drink.

“Nah you know they’re only biding their time. Overheard some of those idiots inside the supply store, they’re just biding their time. Think they can rob ‘ya blind and face the Red Bandit if he comes after them.”

“And how long were you waitin’ to inform me of this?”

“Just heard it today. ‘M telling ‘ya now, ain’t I?”

Thompson drained his glass and he heard Todd sigh.

“What do you think, of these fellows ending up dead by Red’s hand?”

He only gave Todd a shrug.

“You are well aware of what that implies and I want nothing to do with it. I’ve got enough on my plate as it is.”

Thompson rose to his feet, giving Todd a tired look. “I’ll get out of your hair now, since you closed up early tonight. Would hate to be a bother.”

“Never stopped you from staying past close before.”

“No, but you look like you could use some sleep.”

“You ain’t looking so pretty yourself, sheriff.”

“When am I ever?” Thompson said with a laugh. “Take care of yourself, Todd. I’ve got a feeling that we might all be busy with the Red Bandit in town.”

Todd said nothing else.

As he stepped out of the Saloon’s doors, he heard Todd slam his glass down on his counter.

True to his word, the bar was robbed once again. The culprits were found dead hours later, brands seared into every inch of skin. As brutal as it was, Thompson turned his eye away and did not think of it.

Days had passed without much trouble for Todd. With how brutal the last murderers were, no one dared to even step foot into his bar. No one but Thompson, at least. It was bad for business but if Todd minded he didn’t show.

Silence hung in the air as Todd poured him a drink. Wonder why he’s giving me something good this early, Thompson thought absentmindedly. The act itself was strange. Todd normally gave him an entire bottle and left him to it. It never changed whether he had something shitty or expensive.

“You’re gonna need this for what I have to say.”

“I don’t like this.”

“Don’t care, drink it an’ listen.”

Thompson drained the glass and fixed his eye on Todd.

“There’s talk of Eduardo’s crew stealing the Prince of England.”

Oh hell no.

Thompson puts his head in his hands, thankful for the strong liquor entering his system.

“I think… That’s…” He was at a loss for words.

“I suspect that the Prince is already here and so, at best, you have less than a month to prepare to work with whoever is sent.”

“Why are you telling me this?”

Todd stared blankly at him. “Won’t be good for my business if whoever is sent here investigates the wrong trail. Would hate to have to leave this town.” Then, Todd smiled. “I’d miss your company.”

For some odd reason, Thompson’s heart skipped a beat. He raised his head to look at Todd.

“I’m flattered but a drunk man can’t be that good of company.”

“You’re interesting,” Was all Todd said. He poured Thompson another glass of fine Whiskey and once again, they sat in silence.

Thompson was going to enjoy any bit of peace he could before the storm hit. And if he ended up in the bartender’s bed that night, that was no one’s business but his own.

Alr lore time, but first....

Backstory shit :

Thompson much like Tom, had a lack of eyes and parents... Okay, not so much the eyes thing.. he had AN eye. Anyways. Thom was a out cast growing up, untill he met... Eduardo, yup his first fuckin' friend was the dirty green asshole who Hits Juan for a living. Ya know how I said Thom only had one eye? Like a hole one like Tom's? Well, Edu gave him something to cover that bad boy up, AND OFF THEY WENT, to do a crime, which was their first one : A R S O N. Let's just skip a few years... Alr so Thom was a bandit with Edu for most of his teen life, which got him stabbed in the back for reasons which are still unknown... Physically and medicalfordaly. Before he could die though.. he was saved, but by who? The current sheriff of the small town, Peterson [who's still being disigned], Peterson was like the father Thom never had. Peterson and his wife, Monica [still in the process] ended up taking Thom in, after he got out of prison for his multiple crimes, after that, Thom became the deputy. Nothing could go wrong! ... Right?

Then the Red Bandit came along. The most wanted man in all the west, the guy who could take any man down in less than a minute or two, the person when he was even mentioned set folks a' runin'. As Peterson's deputy, Thom had to got with him to try to deal with Red, that decision to go with Peterson was probably the worst decision he had ever made. It was a long and wild Battle, but Red won. that day Thompson went home alone, but not empty handed, with Peterson's hat in his hands, crying.

so there are officially 100 people following me and that's so wild, like yes, when you think about it like "there's 7.837 billion people" it doesn't seem like a lot but when you think about it like "holy shit there are 100 people that care what I have to say??" it's pretty fucking crazy man

Edward sat, face in his hands as the rain poured outside. It didn't look like it was gonna start to die down anytime soon. Eduardo came and sat by him, making sure to keep some space between them. Edd glared at him and the bandit just sighed "Geez it's not like it's my fault" "Still, don't think this changes anything, once we can leave I'm arresting you." It was quiet for a few moments except for the sound of the rain hitting the barn roof and ground around it. It was rather hot leaving a humid almost sticky feeling in the air, but Edu thought it was nice considering how dry it always seems to be. He leaned back more and looked at Edward, the detective just looking out into the rain.

"Y'know, I don't flirt with you because I expect anything back, you've made it pretty obvious you don't like me" he chuckled. Sure at first he liked to tease him because he thought he was cute but after Edd was so unreceptive he also did it to annoy him. However Edward, now looking at the taller, felt weirdly bad about that. Not guilty, it just gave him a bad feeling in his chest. It wasn't that he didn't like Eduardo, it was that he couldn't. He sighed softly and stood up "it's not that I don't like you, but it doesn't matter."

"...What does that mean?" Eduardo stood up as well, leaning on the bail of hay. "I just mean that it would never work, you would be put in jail." "Only if someone found out, we don't have to tell anybody" that seemed to frustrate him a little "We would still be breaking the law! And you already are! You're a criminal, and if anyone found out I could get in trouble too and then it's all just-" while he was talking, Eduardo had stood up straight and dusted some of the hay off his shirt, then taken about a step and a half forward to put booth his hands on Edward's hip and kissed him, silencing the detective. He had moved so quickly the brunet didn't have time to prosses or react to any of it.. and Eduardo was surprisingly good kisser.

It felt really nice, he put his hands on the bandit's shoulders as he felt Eduardo's arms fully wrap around his waist. It felt like fireworks in Edward's stomach as he was pressed against the other man, his chapped lips felt so nice he couldn't help how he melted into it. He honestly thought he may have fallen if Eduardo hadn't been holding him. The rain seemed a lot louder now that no one was talking. The kiss only broke once they needed air, slowly moving away, he could feel Eduardo's short breaths on his face. For a few moments it stayed quiet before the bandit spoke up "if you don't want me to, I'll never do that again, I swear it."

Edward had to think about it for a minute, he knew it was stupid and dangerous and would cause problems that were so easily avoidable but he just couldn't bring himself to tell him no, it felt too good to be in his arms, that feeling he put in the brunet's stomach that made his knees weak was too addicting. "Do you want me to?" Edd bit his lip a little and just nodded lightly, still looking up at him as he was kissed again and just like last time the detective was putty in his hands almost immediately. This time though Eduardo had permission and conformation that it was ok, He held Edd tighter before picking him up, the smart little thing wrapped his legs around Edu's waist right away. He pressed him down against the pile of hay so he could be on top of him without him just being on the ground and Edward seemed more then ok with that.

As embarrassing as it was Edward wasn't really used to being treated like this or touched like this, the feeling was so new to him and it was happening so fast, it was such a rush. The way Eduardo was pressing him down while exploring his mouth felt so wonderful. His hat had fallen off when Eduardo had first pushed him down but he didn't even really notice. It startled him when he felt hands up his shirt but he calmed. His hands were so big compared to Edd's, and his rough callused palms and fingers felt weirdly good on his sides, they were so warm. He took a few deep breathes once the kiss broke and Eduardo hastily moved to kiss his neck, nibbling on is collar bone a bit, enough to make him mewl and shudder. God, his little noises were like music to the bandit's ears he wanted to hear more.

Edward's vest then shirt were removed and just sort of pushed to the side. He was still panting softly as Eduardo held his wrists down, looking over his newly exposed light tan skin. The brunet couldn't help but blush a little at the way Eduardo was staring at him, he looked like a starved animal looking at a 64 ounce stake. He leaned down and started placing kisses down Edd's chest to his stomach while he unbuckled his pants, sliding them down with his underwear. His hands ran down his sides to hold and gently squish his thighs making the smaller's face go bright red. He was making plenty of hickies and soft bite marks all over him, wanting to know every inch of his body.

Edward has his fists clenched tight as he tried his best to stifle all the little noises that kept slipping out, little whimpers and gasps, even soft moans when he would bite down. At first he was a little confused when he felt something something press against his entrance until he realized it was one of Eduardo's fingers, giving a soft gasp and tensing up a little.

It felt weird when he pushed it inside, but it didn't hurt like he thought it would, it was just uncomfortable. He tried his best, it slowly didn't feel as weird anymore, and it actually felt pretty good once he started moving it. After a little bit like that Edd was pretty used to it and had adjusted, telling Eduardo he could start moving which he was more than happy to. He didn't want to hurt the brunet but he had been getting a little impatient. He pressed his legs forward more so he had more room to start going pretty hard right away. This seemed to startle the other a little bit though, moaning loudly and grabbing fist fulls of the hay. It felt incredible, like nothing he had ever felt and his head felt like it was full of fluff. Whimpering and squirming slightly as Eduardo let one of his legs go to stroke his cock.

It was so overwhelming he felt totally helpless, tears of pleasure welling up in his eyes before rolling down his cheeks and he drooled, incoherently begging the taller for more and not to stop. It was quite the sight indeed, Eduardo couldn't get enough of it. Fighting to keep his eyes open as he grunted, wanting to see all the adorable expressions his sub kept making. "F-fuck- Eduardo please-" he sobbed, his shoulders shaking slightly.

Edu leaned down and kissed him deeply to which the other immediately wrapped his arms around his neck giving lots of muffled moans into it, doing his best to kiss back though it was a bit clumsy and uncoordinated neither really minded. He loved the way the detective's lips felt so much, they were soft and tasted like soda. He gently bit his lip making the brit mewl softly into the kiss. Eduardo soon reluctantly broke the kiss, moving to once again kiss his neck. Edward could feel himself getting really close, and it was obvious by the way his voice got higher and he couldn't even really speak anymore, just moans and incoherent strings of nothing as drool rolled down his chin.

The bandit tried his best to go harder, huffing and panting under his breath. The smaller pretty much screamed as he came, tangling his fingers tight in his lover's dark brown locks. He was a mess as Eduardo pounded into him, the barn filled with the sounds of loud rain, skin against skin, and Edd's sweet noises. Eduardo's own climax was following shortly after, trying to shove it as deep as he could as he came. Edward moaned softly feeling it deep inside him, it was so hot. He gave a shaky breath and just melted against the hay, Eduardo panting softly with his face in the crook of his neck. Everything started slowing down again, but he still couldn't think.

The bandit sat up more after a few more moments, Edward whining softly. He pulled out, both of them shivering a little bit at the change. He wrapped his arms around the detective again and pretty much just collapsed on top of him, mumbling quiet things about how pretty he was or how well he had done. Edd blushed deeply listening to him, he felt so tired and Edu was so warm, he couldn't help dozing off, his partner following shortly after, the rain creating a calming background noise for them.

When Edward passes out and wakes up, Cameron helps him up while remarking about how he kinda went crazy there, but then congratulates him and says he did a good job since he was able to clean everything up just like he thought he would. And is like 'Let's go get your prince, man :]". I can see him eventually looking down at his gun though, and then back at Edward—and then at the contract he signed to kill him. And after a bit of thinking, he tosses the contract to the side and follows Edward.

Once he does, Cameron is standing alongside Edward when Thompson points to the both of them saying 'these two' once Eduardo asks who and what army he has. But Eduardo immediately starts shooting at the both of them, with all of the bullets somehow always missing Cameron as he literally just stands there—though one shot he makes nearly kills Eduardo. He ends up noticing Prince Matt though, and drags him behind one of the rocks with Sheriff Thompson. He doesn't day much afterwards, but does flash Edward an encouraging smile when Thompson says 'Everybody needs a little something' yet again. And kinda watches as bro proceeds to fucking clock the bandit version of the neighbors.

In the next scene, Cameron is seen laughing at Prince Matt bragging to the ladies, and also denies Edward's offer to go to England afterward because he apparently thinks the Prince is really cool and would kinda prefer to br with him (and he also implies that he has something to patch up with Bartender Tord).

Either way, it cuts back to reality, with Edd turning over to the others once he finishes reading and Cam helping Matt out of the jail alongside Tom. He's also the one to point out that the rain stopped here, while Matt still says his line about going back home before it comes back for revenge. That's kind of it for Cam in this episode tho jsnsnsn.

Although it is not known for certain whether there ever was a bandit by that name, since the 12th century tradition has made Robin Hood a popular character who embodied the demands for justice of the oppressed classes in England.

Literature and, in the 20th century, cinema have made Robin Hood one of the most popular fictional characters in the world. The adventures of this rebel in Sherwood Forest, supported by the members of his gang and always ready to outwit the hated Sheriff of Nottingham, have made Robin Hood one of the most popular fictional characters in the world.

In an effort to sort fact from fiction, many historians have attempted to identify the mysterious highwayman with a specific historical figure. In the mid-19th century, the archivist Joseph Hunter pointed to a Robyn Hode who in 1324 was King Edward II's valet and then left his employment, as in the ballad A Robin Hood's Deed, where he tires of court and returns to the forest. However, there is no evidence that this Hode was an outlaw. More recently, Graham Phillips and Martin Keatman have cross-referenced a great deal of historical data with the legends to conclude that Robin Hood was an amalgam of three different individuals: 1) a peasant outlaw from Barnsdale Forest in about 1225, 2) Robert Hood of Wakefield, a soldier in the Earl of Lancaster's rebel army who was later in the service of Edward II in 1324, which is partly consistent with the Robin Hood candidate advocated by Hunter and, 3) Fulk Fitz Warine, one of the barons who rose up against King John between 1200 and 1215.
