@greencheekconure27primary submitted: Some nice bugs for your enjoyment:)
The pink stuff in the first picture is a slime mold called wolf's milk
Wow......I love a slime mold. Hope that slug and isopod enjoyed the tasty treat. Some excellent finds in this bunch!

Pictures taken today in this set are of: 1. Beautiful Large Red Damselfly. 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Views of this wild and beautiful site on a great sunny morning. 3. As we saw when we came here a year ago tomorrow, a dazzling Drinker Moth caterpillar. 4. A fascinating Nursery Web spider, something nice and new for me to see. 5. A record shot of what we went mostly in the hope of seeing, the aerodynamic and stunning falcon that is the Hobby. It was a joy to see this one with its intricate markngs sat in the distinctive trees of the site then see it take off and glide through the air. Wonderful moments with a bird I am very fond of. 10. Another highlight and another falcon in a wonderful walk of seeing birds of prey, a Kestrel on a pylon that we enjoyed seeing.
Sparrowhawk, Red Kite and Buzzard were the other raptors enjoyed. It was also amazing to hear and see Cuckoo here, what a year I’m having for them. Other highlights were Swift, in a warbler fest too Whitethroat, another Garden Warbler after the other day for me which was fantastic, lovely views of Sedge Warblers, Chiffchaff including one seen with food, Cetti’s Warbler and Willow Warbler, a great view of a female Bullfinch, exciting Great Spotted Woodpeckers, lovely Dunnock views, Grey Heron including some doing some aerial acrobatics which was a quirky sight for a big bird, Common Tern and Holly Blue and Peacock butterflies. Like we also saw here a year ago tomorrow too we saw our first Hairy Dragonflies of the year, shining jewels to see and we also saw our first Banded Demoiselle of the year a great one to see as always which this place is good for. Common Blue Damselfy, slug and ladybird were good to see too, with wood avens, yellow iris carpeting the place so nicely, cuckooflower, elder, buttercups, water dropwort and gorgeous and varied coloured comfrey flower highlights. Dunnock, Woodpigeon, Magpie, red campion, cleavers, cow parsley and bluebells were nice to see on a quick call into Hoe Lane on the way back.
