DNA: a basic guide

there’s been a lot of new/returning activity in the community, and though i’m somewhat new to DNAing myself, i thought i’d make a very basic overview, since i’ve seen a lot of lifters asking questions about it.

feel free to reblog with additions/your own experiences!

MASSIVE DISCLAIMER:

i am not the authority on anything i’m about to write. i’m a stranger on the internet! as you should with all posts on liftblr, take what i’m about to say with a relative grain of salt, and do your own research and risk assessment.

what does “DNA” mean?

“DNA” stands for “did not arrive.” it’s used as shorthand to describe a common type of online refund fraud.

how does it work/how do i do it?

there’s no special process. it’s relatively simple:

the customer places a legitimate online order for their target item/items. however, when the package arrives, the customer then contacts customer service and claims the parcel didn’t show up in order to receive a fraudulent refund.

unlike shoplifting, with DNAs, a legitimate purchase has to occur in order for the scam to take place.

what are the consequences if i get caught?

this is very important: DNAing, no matter how small the amount, is a type of fraud. based on where you live, the legal penalties for getting caught will vary—it can be difficult to find information online, but i would encourage you to do as much research as possible.

however, even if companies don’t take legal action, refund scamming can result in your account(s) or address being blacklisted from certain online stores. i’ve heard certain companies (amazon) will even ban IPs (which basically means they ban your whole computer, rather than just an account on it). i’ve also heard UPS and other mail carriers can/do ban the addresses of repeat offenders if a suspicious amount of investigations (see below) have been filed.

i personally haven’t heard of anyone experiencing trouble from their bank’s end, but i would stay vigilant nonetheless.

other important terminology

EB: this stands for “empty box.” it’s a variant of DNAing where, instead of claiming the parcel didn’t arrive, you claim the box itself came empty.

partial DNA: partial DNA is when you claim only a portion of your order didn’t arrive. for example, you might say you received a dress you ordered, but were missing a shirt or a pair of shoes—the company then refunds you for only the “missing” items.

investigation: an investigation occurs when the company files a report with the carrier regarding the missing package. this can take days to weeks to process. from what i understand, most of these investigations are either protocol or purely meant to scare you off, and most of the time go absolutely nowhere.

how long should i wait after my order is placed/delivered to contact customer service?

it depends. many people suggest waiting longer so the company is less likely to conduct an investigation (it’s virtually useless after a certain point). however, i’ve also had some successes doing it the day of delivery; use your best judgement.

what do i say to customer service?

act natural! put yourself in the mindset of someone whose order has genuinely failed to show up. be disappointed but polite, and above all firm in what you want. many DNAs are as simple as:

YOU: hello, i placed an order on your site about a week and a half ago. i got an email saying my package was delivered, but i didn’t receive my order.

CS: i’m sorry to hear that. let me check on that for you... i can offer you a reshipment or a refund. which would you prefer?

YOU: a refund, please.

a common mistake is over-explanation. don’t offer more than what customer service asks—an innocent person likely wouldn’t.

i’m not going to go in-depth with methods or “what-ifs” on this post, but there are plenty of great tips on liftblr and reddit. however, if you end up facing suspicion, you will need the ability to stick to a believable story if you want your money back.

what stores can i DNA?

there are lots of stores you can (relatively) safely DNA, with varying degrees of difficulty. from what i’ve read and my own experiences, most people agree that:

are easy places to start and build your confidence. if you’re curious about a certain store, ask around! lots of people are willing to share their experiences. or check out my new blog—@dna-stories!

*shein and romwe will always open an investigation to try and scare you off—however, i have literally never heard of one of these investigations going anywhere. don’t let it intimidate you!

ANOTHER HUGE DISCLAIMER:

just like shoplifting, it’s important to keep greed and recklessness in check. there’s always a risk with DNAing; be smart, and never spend what you can’t afford to lose. if you need that $600 for rent, don’t blow it on bathing suits and bank on your refund—there’s always a chance you won’t get your money back, and you don’t want to accidentally put yourself in a bad position.

where can i find more tips?

reddit has a lot of good information, particularly about amazon, though be mindful of the age of certain threads; some things are bound to outdated. this is a master list of store information i’ve referred to before (but again, take everything with a grain of salt)!

there are also a ton of lifters who post helpful tips on here. i’ve been referring to @heavenlylifter, @urfavoritelifter and @fairylift’s blogs a lot—and many others, too!

Chickensmoothie Fake Banner Dog

Hey, I don't know who made the fake banner dog, but it was posted on my friend's old account. We're assuming it was hacked because he wasn't very careful with his passwords in the past, as that's really the only plausible explanation. We have some ideas of who it could be, but unfortunately one of those people doesn't even play CS and the other hasn't been active since 2017, so it doesn't matter if they get caught. We are assuming this was some kind of revenge plot, but we can't say for sure. It could also be a completely random hacker, but again, we don't know. It went like this. He has the outcomes thread subscribed to, so it emails him when someone posts on the topic so he can see new outcomes. He gets an email and checks the thread, notices almost immediately that it's his old account. Confusion obviously ensues. We didn't even think twice about the banner dog because we didn't realize it was fake at the time, and getting another banner pet was obviously the least of our concerns. He messages me about it to ask for advice, I kind of shrug. It was an old account that he only used for a week at most before creating a new account (same one he uses to this day) so there was nothing great on it. Like one common pet in total, no posts, etc., so we kept an eye on it but didn't know what to really do about it. We figured it would be best to get a help ticket in, but he didn't want to get in trouble for multi accounting, so he hesitated. The user who was in that account was only posting what we thought was harmless stuff—a forum game post here, a post in the trade thread there, a post about how they liked one of the PPS eggs, you get the gist—but since it was a dumb old account, we left it alone, again just keeping an eye on it. Then we come to find out the dog they posted in the outcomes thread was confirmed to be fake. At this point my friend was getting incredibly anxious. It became apparent that whoever was on the account was doing something malicious instead of harmless like we initially thought. He feared that if he sent in a ticket NOW, that staff would surely think he was lying to cover himself. I told him to send one anyway just to be safe, but I don't think he did. I wasn't able to talk him into it before the account got banned as far as we know (it no longer exists) but his account was still fine, so he stopped worrying about it. A while after though he DID receive a board warning for the incident, and since the warning came from Nick himself, I'm sure there was some technical stuff somewhere in there that linked the account's IPs since my friend did log into that account at one point and therefore had that IP even if it was in a different location at the time of the incident itself. He's scared to resolve it because he doesn't want to "talk back" to a higher-up in fear that he's just going to be banned if they think he's trying to lie his way out of a warning, so a warning on his record would be better than a full ban. It's a crazy situation, the two of us are still extremely confused, but that's the events as I can recall them. I know this is a salt blog and people here aren't going to care much, but please avoid spreading rumors about the dog and especially PLEASE don't post about being the "creator of the dog" followed by bragging and things such as you encouraging others to break CS rules. Whether you created it or not may be true, but right now CS staff think that my friend is the sole one responsible for the dog, so posting things like that or causing further uproar can get him in more trouble than he is already in. He's lucky he avoided a ban, only barely, and got a pretty big board warning on his account instead. The only reason I even know of this blog is because some users let him know he was posted about here (for a dumb reason) and I've been skimming the blog on occasion to make sure no rumors start because he's a dear friend of mine and hasn't done anything to warrant that. I came across the banner dog posts and here we are. Chickensmoothie is the one place where he is happy right now, it gives him a place to escape real life problems and just collect some pixel pets for a little while. When he posts his art there VS any other site or platform, he gets a lot of positive feedback, whereas usually he gets nothing. He's even done some commissions on there for the first time ever and for once he's gained confidence in himself through how kind people have been to him. This incident alone has made him spiral into a panic because he's afraid to lose what he's been building for himself on there, even if it doesn't sound like much to everyone else. All I ask is that you please, please be respectful and put the subject to rest. Thank you.

A snowy summer

Part 5: June + Part 6: July

Wow, rl has keep me occupied so much that I almost forgot that I haven’t finished this series yet. I think I intended to make June and July into a single post and separate April and May, I don’t know it ended up like this, but let’s roll with it.

Disclaimer: I try to keep things objective (if I include my personal opinion, it’s in cursive and in brackets), but I’m biased because of the XZ friendly content I’m usually exposed to and by my own views of their situation. Open to discussion, but please make sure you’ve enough information to do so.

In June and July there were some incidents that really had me staring at my laptop speechless, brain completely fried by what I was reading. I suppose I don’t have so much energy to invest myself in issues like those (I have enough with my own rl problems, thank you very much), but still... wtf.

School uniforms

In recent June, the welfare project done by his fans got questioned for a project. It was about some school uniforms that they donated to a school, in collaboration with another organization (BYH Foundation).

However, it was questioned because the uniform has the letter 赞 (zan) in it. It means “to approve, to support or to praise” and it’s also the internet slang for “like” (thumbs up). Because it sounds similar to xz’s name, it’s often used as a substitution for his name in internet posts. In fact, in an interview, he was asked if he preferred “xiao (little) zhan” or “xiao zan”, and he said both were fine. Some commercials use phrases with this character to refer to him.

The antis accused XZ’s fans of trying to use the students to promote their celebrity. After this, BYH Foundation issued an apology, because of “their lack of consideration”. They had wanted the word to mean “positive”, and as a wish that the children grow up healthy and optimistic. But because of the misunderstanding, the foundation expressed their regret and took back all uniforms and other materials.

Faced with this, netizens again expressed their disagreement. “Why take away the clothes if the children liked them? Why must people who complain always be right? How disappointing!”

(Personal opinion time: so… giving the uniforms is criticized. Taking them away is criticized. Can someone tell me what can they do that it won’t be criticized?)

Charity in Yunnan

In mid-June, XZ participated in a charity event in Yunnan, promoting agricultural products. XZ’s fans support association changed their name to XZ Audio and Video official w/ibo, centering their efforts in promoting his works.

His activities in Yunnan were accompanied by an interview.

Offering legal help to those affected by cyberbullying

On July 1st, XZ studio issued another statement. I think we are familiar with this one, since it’s quite recent.

This issue began on June 22nd, when a w/ibo user berated XZ for not “controlling” his fans: “… and, by letting them do as they please, you let them think that there was nothing wrong in what they were doing. Today is Fathers’ Day, and your fans dare to curse my mother and my late father. I’ll not let this go. I’ll boycott you, and if I consider it necessary, I’ll report it to the police. I’ll leave this post here, so we can come back to it and look at the source of the problem. You reap what you sow, you can’t blame me on this.” She posted a few screenshots of some people insulting her parents.

A few fans wrote to her:

“Excuse me, I’m sorry for disturbing you, I know you don’t like XZ, but XZ has been leading us fans, and I’ve seen that your account isn’t XZ friendly. Every well intentioned critic, we’ll take it, but I hope you won’t involve XZ because of the words of others, there are a lot of rational fans out there.”

The user answered:

“From the beginning to the end, he has never said: ‘don’t report maliciously, don’t insult and humiliate others, don’t curse other people’s parents, don’t look for others’ private info, don’t threaten others’. Has he said them? He hasn’t. He never elaborates, hums and haws, pass over these topics. I’ll tell you, today’s matter, I must see an apology. Either from the ones that cursed my parents or from XZ on their behalf. If there’s not apology, I’ll chase this matter to the end.”

This user released a week later a document called “Assessment on the value and risk of XZ’s fans”. She took the data from several platforms, and analysed them, getting statistics about the type of XZ’s fans. This report depicted a very negative view of his fans.

This was a very controversial issue. The heart of the controversy is that there’s no evidence that the netizen who cursed her parents is XZ’s fan. And even if they “were”, nowadays many people are deliberately posing as XZ’s fans to insult and abuse others in order to frame him.

However, with her report, the people who don’t know the heart of the matter got more ammo to insult and humiliate XZ. She updated her post, saying that she had been being investigated, that someone had tried to get her address and name, so in the comments, more and more people blamed XZ for the issue. XZ’s teams then offered their help in the form of legal advice and lawyers to help her get legal support.

The user took the offer and agreed to receive legal advice. XZ’s studio then posted their update (the one linked in the first paragraph of this section), rejecting all king of cyber bullying and offering help to protect the rights of the netizens affected by cyber violence. The Studio also spoke clearly: they won’t tolerate XZ’s fans abusing other netizens, nor people posing as XZ’s fans to attack others.

The “stolen” account

On July 11, XZ’s Audio and Video official w/ibo posted an official apology. This time, the issue was this one: a w/ibo user had “passed away” due to mental illness (depression, the user followed the supertopic about this particular ailment and had posted a few times about it). However, after their death, their account was active again, and began posting about XZ.

People attacked the user for using a deceased person’s account (comments were like “don’t you know the history of the owner of the account you’re using?”), and consequently, all of the content in that account was deleted.

The same afternoon, XZ’s Audio and Video official w/ibo issued their apology. They contacted w/ibo, and asked the user to restore the deleted content and to respect the deceased.

This was also controversial, since they couldn’t know for sure that the one who bought the account is a fan of XZ. Because of this, XZ’s fans were attacked again. W/ibo issued a post declaring that the account had been accessed through the same device from last year to present, so the account hadn’t been stolen, and they continue to investigate it.

In summary: this time, XZ’s fans had apologized too quickly. This user was someone who used 3 different IPs and 3 different accounts. They had followed the “depression” topic, posted a few things and went silent for a while, making people think they had succumbed to the illness. Then, using the same account, they started posting about XZ, making people think that the account had been stolen, and manipulated other people’s sense of justice and compassion to defame XZ.

W/ibo took the initiative and blocked all of their accounts.

(Okay, when I actually read about what happened, I was like... wtf. Seriously wtf. This is some plot going on over there, I thought this kind of defamation plots only happened in Chinese historical dramas. I... really don’t get it. I’m speechless still.)

W/ibo and XZ Studio Conference

The topic of w/ibo and XZ studio conference went on hot search on July 14, in which, they talked about fan guidance and management:

“W/ibo believes that influential public figures and celebrities should bear the responsibility of guiding and restraining fan’s behaviour, essentially through the fans’ group. But in last months, because of failed guidance and reactions, all kind of fan groups had a disruptive behaviour online, causing a harmful impact on society.

W/ibo believes that celebrities’ studios and companies should reinforce the guidance and restrain over the fans. To those who pretend to be a certain person’s fan, they should be reported and people should collaborate with the platform in its management of the issue. We can’t ignore them if these people’s actions are suspected to be illegal, and protect our rights, fulfilling legal responsibilities.

XZ’s studio has expressed their agreement with W/ibo’s recommendations, and expressed their intention to increase their level of collaboration and support of this platform’s management.”

The announcement was ended by a statement on how the latest incident has showed a very ugly and harmful part of the society, and that everyone should collaborate to improve the society and Internet. It also included a list of accounts that were banned for fake rumours and leading other fans to arguments. 

This was accompanied by an apology by XZ Studio.

(This is what some anons asked me about on their asks. I hope you can all read between the lines to get what was the deal about this one.)

From start to finish, we all can see that the platform has a lot of responsibility to bear here. That’s something people in China have also pointed out. However, XZ and his team can only nod, and bear with it, because while there is only one platform that has all the right conditions, there are a lot of more celebrities. They have to rely on it for a lot of things, so they can’t just end things with them.

So last week, his studio issued a statement that said:

“This studio appeals again:

NO entering any kind of votes, control ourselves with our comments and not calling other to participate in events.

We reject mutual insulting and abusing, don’t start group conflicts.

Don’t go over your own economic possibilities to support projects, works and commercial products.

Make sure to take care of your studies and jobs first, before following a celebrity’s projects or music.

We hope that everyone can make the most of their own lives, have independent thinking. We hope that we can all go together towards a brighter future, and give more positive energy through our actions.”

The studio called the fans to stop voting him and placing him at the top of the charts for a while, so things can cool down definitely, in my opinion. And yet, he still topped as one of the most successful endorser, from March to July (it’s really a trend that hasn’t stopped, even after 2/27. In March, two weeks after 2/27, he even topped as one of the top celebrities in w/ibo anyway). 

I heard that people kept voting for him like crazy, because they didn’t want the general public to think that he wasn’t popular. However, facts remain that he is popular among his fans, but less neutral in the general public (I’ll explain this in my last post).

That’s why it’s going to be very important how his next project is received by the general public.

Advice to calm down from a panic attack/flashback.

So there really isn’t anything you can do when it comes to the data, you can request the ban be lifted if you can and there might be a request option for data but the way these companies work what they collect they tend to keep. Even if you weren’t banned they would still have the information, it’s not something you can control. I know that sucks but it’’s this frustrating fact about internet companies. 

But do remember they can’t really do much with all of this. Other people can’t get it easily that is connected to your name, and it’s not like people can easily see the chat logs. This isn’t a blackmail situation I don’t think you need to worry about things like that. I know it’s creepy and weird and anxiety-provoking but please understand this isn’t a threat. 

But they don’t have your name right there and they have no reason to do anything. We always have information in the ether and I know it can be scary to know there are histories of our trauma out there and I’m sorry. But you don’t really have to be so scared.

Im is very sorry there isn’t anything specific i can suggest other than understanding that companies hold data but generally don’t do anything with it other than keep statistics. The chat logs aren’t going to be used against you. and to request access and then see if deleting other info is possible. 

You are not doomed or totally trapped by this. Many chat logs are also deleted over time and not all are held for long periods anyway. 

But you can get through this i promise. 

I’m going to ask you to please try and reach out if you can to a friend, family member or professional if you have one. If are having panic attacks, psychosis episodes and getting ill from the stress it can be damaging to your health You don’t have to give all the details, but trying to have a crisis plan could be very useful for you to have. 

Try and work on working through your coping skills as well which can offer more options when events of stressors happen.

Scott Alexander argued for Kolmogorov complicity - in short, to quietly shut up and let the crazies take over while you go off and do your work in areas the crazies aren't attacking. This is one of the last few interesting articles he wrote about politics and the "culture war" before banning the subject from his site and subreddit for fear of his career after being repeatedly doxxed and threatened by SJW activists.

Unfortunately, as we've seen, there is nothing the crazies won't attack and attempt to take over. Universities, Silicon Valley, Hollywood, comic books, video games, science fiction, you name it. Kolmogorov complicity is not an option. And frankly, Kolmogorov wasn't some honorable man who simply nodded along with the Communists while turning away to do his real work in mathematics - he cooperated with the Soviets in driving their political opponents out of mathematics. That's not defensible.

So, you're tired of tech companies censoring the Internet and SJWs ruining everything? Don't just roll over and let them win, but fight back - but fight back smartly, without putting yourself at risk. Instead of becoming complicit, become a spy. That's the core of my thesis.

Most of this is informed by my background in the tech industry, but some of it may be applicable to other industries, in particular individuals in large public companies and public universities. In addition, any of this which talks about legal remedies is going to be primarily centered on the United States, though you may have similar legal remedies elsewhere in the world. Please note that I am not a lawyer, and if you are in a position where you need a lawyer, you should talk to a real lawyer instead of taking advice from the Internet.

Just one thing first and foremost - if you can avoid it, never sign an arbitration agreement.

From now on, you're not fighting them in the open. Forget the "marketplace of ideas" - you're a spy. Except instead of being paid off by a country or an industrial competitor, you're in it to fight a war for freedom of speech within Western society. It's tragic that it's come to this, but that's the state of affairs that we find ourselves in.

So, how do you go about this? There are two things to keep track of: illegal actions, and political activity; and two classes of action: company policy, and people advocating for these things. Any way you slice it, you've got to collect the information, exfiltrate it safely, and sit on it until it's time to expose them. Anything that's embarrassing for the company, anything that's illegal, any individual that's getting away with stuff that you wouldn't be able to? Save it for posterity.

You must save this stuff on a medium that is not under corporate control. Not only do you not want to lose access of the data when you inevitably leave the company, you need to have control over the stuff you're planning on leaking in a way that they can't track. Don't sit there and email screenshots from your work email to your personal email. That's stupid. Don't save it to your work computer and then try to plug in a USB stick and transfer it off, either. That's trivial for corporate IT to detect these days. Most of the megacorps have very locked down computers and will flag that kind of thing immediately. Don't think "oh well I'll just turn the wifi off and do it" either, they'll send the alert as soon as you connect again.

The safest thing I've come up with is to have a camera (or cameraphone) that is in no way associated with work (don't use the phone that has your company's security app on it!), and take pictures of the screen of your laptop. Most of these companies let employees take laptops home. If you put your laptop on a table, prop your elbow up on a table, and get a good focus angle, it's possible to take pretty good pictures of the screen. Or get a tripod. Oh, and don't store these pictures on a cloud that's controlled by the company you work for. That one's kind of obvious, but if you work for Facebook and put all the pictures on Instagram... well, one day you just might find that you can't log into your account anymore and oh also you've got a meeting with HR on your calendar that day that you didn't know about. Funny thing, that... Don't be stupid. Like I said at the beginning, you're a spy. Keep the spy mindset.

Timing's key, too. Don't dump the data the day you post a 40,000 word manifesto on the company email server and quit. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and your goal is to be anonymous. SJWs want to virtue signal and get credit for being the wokest person on the planet; your goal is to expose them without anyone knowing you did it.

If you are trying to bring legal action against the company, the first thing to remember is that you must have "standing". This means you have to be able to demonstrate to a court that you were directly harmed by a particular action. It's going to be very hard for you to do this even if the company is actively discriminating against your ethnic or racial group. (For example, if they're discriminating against white men, and you're a white man who got hired, you weren't "discriminated against" in the hiring process - going to be hard for you to win that case, obviously; and it's close to impossible for you to ever win a case that you didn't get a promotion you deserved because they can always just say "well we promoted someone else who was qualified".) As you can see from the Damore lawsuit, this is time-consuming, requires a ton of money for lawyers, and you may end up in front of some SJW judge or someone who's paid off by the company you're suing.

Alternatively, you can go after them in the media. As we know, most of the mainstream media is covering for these bastards, so you're forced to turn to the partisans like Breitbart Tech or maybe the weirdos with principles like Glenn Greenwald. If it's your first time talking to the reporters, you'll probably want to go in anonymously - make a new protonmail account, use Telegram, that kind of thing. They may require you to show proof that you really do work for the company before you can convince them; at that point you're just going to have to decide whether or not you trust them.

If you really can't get ahold of anyone in the media, consider just dumping it on the internet. Of course reddit bans doxing, but there are websites that don't. Just make sure you're doing it from an IP that can't be tracked back to you - if you're going to dump it all on the internet, do it from free wifi somewhere, use a VPN, etc. Don't do it from your home internet from the same IP address you log in from. You don't want that information getting back to you.

And it goes without saying - keep your fucking mouth shut. Don't start going "oh man did you see those leaks on the internet yesterday" and getting into arguments about it. If it explodes and goes viral there will inevitably be water cooler talk about it; stick to the safe stuff: "Never say anything you wouldn't want on the New York Times front page", "If they catch the guy he's going to be fired so fast it'll make his head spin", that kind of thing.

So, you run your own business and want to safeguard it against SJW takeover?

You want to do all the same checking up on your potential employees that you would in the above case, but it actually gets harder for you here, because you are going to be required to maintain some sort of reasonable race/gender balance, particularly if your company grows. I loaded into a Scav raid and was in for about minutes before randomly getting a black screen that said "This user has been banned by BE dee". The game was exited, PC restarted, and launcher and game opened just fine. Except every time I tried to load into a raid, I would immediately get "server connection lost. I continued to retry over and over, until eventually when I opened up my new account on the website, there are nice big red letters next to my name, "BANNED". I received the same E-mail that I did on the previous account. So, with a lack of information, does that mean HWID ban? Or IP ban? What are my options if I were to continue to play the game? No not that. It depends, cheating too hard and obvious usually. Some people only get the account banned others get hwid. They usually give you hwid if they see you keep coming back and cheating the first ban usually isn't hwid atleast in my experience. Always reinstall after ban as BE leaves trace files on your pc to identify you even if you reinstall. I never play without cheat on my cheating account so i don't get manually banned by insane stats fluctuations. Before battle eye got implemented I cheesed on an account. Obviously the wipe happened and then BE was in. I started playing about months into the wipe. Then a month later I got banned. Is this a hwid ban now? Because I basically got banned for playing legit. I mean in theory battle eye could retroactively ban you, if they went back in their logs and noticed an injection associated with your account. Or they knew back then and just didn't do anything about it. *PLEASE READ IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT TO MY WATCHERS AND FRIENDS*

I have my reasons for posting here instead.

Guys..I am really, really sorry..

I absolutely hate the new "DA" and I will explain why.

But first, I really missed you guys. ;_;

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, I was falsely suspended for 2 weeks, no it is not at all drama related, no one reported me.

( I can prove it if need be, but not on DA )

You guys know how I'm always browsing around DA groups and such and I always come across Pedophilia, Porn and other content that I will report, either to be removed, or if it's unfiltered to get it tagged.

( The mods ask that in their rules, that we report ALL content like that, they will not remove it without reports )

I give the mods explanations and or proof of my claims so that they can understand it better if needed, I'm fairly polite to them.

Thankfully I got several accounts suspended or in trouble, that were posting illegal and disgusting content, and I never had a single issue in my near decade on DA like this, I have never been suspended nor banned.

So, as some of you guys know, my report tool randomly disappeared a while ago, for no reason with no explanation, only an automated ( lazy ) message about how it was suspended.

I emailed them, got no reply for a while, then I got sick of waiting..

I did use an alt to report some pedophilia and the like several days later on, I tried to avoid such content but I ended up seeing some anyways.

Yes, it may seem stupid to risk my account to report something, but I'm still glad I did it as long as it was removed, as seeing 10-14 year old characters having orgies and being raped, molested, and the like did not sit well with me at all, so I reported the many pieces, and went to bed.

I was out all day the next day, and I was feeling okay, several hrs later I got online, turned on YT and listened to some music, a few mins later I turned on DA and got physically sick..I was confused, hurt and very upset.

So I checked my email, I had a message regarding reporting, they literally treated me as a liar and a spammer, I NEVER lied in my reports about art, they never even told me 'how I lied' nor gave any examples..all of this is regarding art reporting, I am no spammer either, I don't report every single day and the staff is not obligated to remove every single thing at once, every person who talked to me about this has called them 'lazy' and I agree completely.

Most people don't even report, and I'm doing good for the community so you should be thankful like wth??

I have been reporting things for yrs, never had a single issue, so it's either a new rule or they're just full of it. :/ I did make a few minor mistakes in some of my reports which can be SEEN as lies but they weren't, like accidentally typing the wrong info on the wrong report from being so flustered and having several tabs open at once.

( I told them that after the fact, they ignored me )

BTW they never even asked if the alt was mine, just bc it was the same IP they banned it with NO confirmation or anything, my siblings, two of them have DA accounts though one left DA, and the other hardly uses it, and they never gave me any kind of warning and I have seen people do major things on this site and either nothing ever happened, OR they got WARNINGS.

( I don't even have my name on the alt, which shows you how dense they are to assume. )

I report art, pedophilia and porn that isn't allowed on DA, and magically I'M the bad guy???

( Both accounts were suspended for two weeks, I think my report tool was suspended for two weeks, then changed to a month..which is bs )

Oh, but it's TOTALLY okay for me to be stalked, harassed, have people block evade to harass me further, to be death/rape/hack threatened, sexually harassed,  and more, and even have people send me virus links which counts as a major crime on DA but NOTHING happened EVER even with hundreds of pieces of proof, if not more!

O_o They're ass backwards and have no idea what they're doing, removing a report tool in it's self is beyond stupid, what if you see REAL pedophilia and no one else would/could report it?? like what is the point of removing the tool, so you don't have to do your job??

( A report tool does GOOD for the community, not bad! people falsely report art, but if they do just ignore them OR give them a warning, if they don't listen suspend THEM, not innocent people!! )

If they 'have a limit' which I do not believe as I've never seen it and there is no limit where it literally stops you from reporting, ENFORCE one instead of being dicks to people, oh yes others have been suspended because of this stupid shit, I don't know names I just talked to people..PS, there is a limit on how many helpdesk reports you can make a day, AKA reporting PEOPLE, but there is no such thing for the art.

I honestly feel they're 'too bothered' to just do their job, I can talk about it freely especially considering it's offsite so they can't do anything to me. :'D

I just feel completely awful that I had to be away from you guys for so long, I couldn't sleep at first, then it got easier..but I felt so dang awful bc I owed art, was chatting with you guys, and the like..only to have some jerks try to ruin things for me over opinions, not facts.

The only thing I 'did wrong' was use an alt, BUT I never did anything wrong in the first place to 'be wrong'?? they even sent me the same message THREE times for two different problems, and each time it was an automated one.... ._. THAT should prove right there how lazy they are.

We have received all of your concerned messages, and we are listening. We appreciate your support and hear your frustration; it is why after considerable thought, we feel the need to speak up, not so much for us, but for all of you who are being attacked for having different opinions. As you know, we do not want to engage in the drama, and we have asked each of you not to engage in it either. We appreciate that you have respected our wishes and have not brought the mess to our site. We know that because we have not engaged with the blog, we must be in her head, and that is why she has become obsessed with our site and apparently has absolutely nothing better to do with her time then to talk about this site and all of you. She must not have any real tea, or that would be the focus of her blog instead of us! Just take a step back and think logically for only a few minutes about all the crap she has posted and the conversations y'all have had on our website. She claimed we share IPs and email addresses and use them to hunt people down on Instagram to find their real identity. Do you realize how asinine that sounds? An IP address is not your social security number or your Instagram username. It is related to your browser and can be seen by every web server you visit and to everyone you email. It really is not related to your privacy and can be pretty easily found if you have been online for a while. As many of you know, people on Talk-Sports posted IPs of posters all the time, yet it doesn’t tell you anything more than a general country or city that person may be online in, but if they use a VPN or another router, that’s not even accurate. It does not tell us or anyone else who you really are. It’s even hard for the FBI and police to use that info to find out who you are. All that being said, we don’t even look at your IPs, and we only posted 1 IP address and that Tumblr blog and all her haters know it. We only did it to prove we didn’t knowingly ban a particular person and only found out she was inadvertently banned when her fake friend account got banned after violating board rules after she was warned. We also almost immediately deleted the post with that IP too, but of course, that won’t fit their narrative and web of lies. You are still 100% anonymous on our site unless you choose to tell people who you are! We do not pick and choose what gets posted in each thread, that is entirely up to each of you as long as you follow board rules and stay on each thread’s topic. You are the ones that drive the discussion in the threads, not us. We do not ban people or delete comments that disagree with us. Just take a look at all the pages, and you will see that. We’ve only banned a few people after a warning for violating board rules, and some of them had multiple accounts. Also, there are still several members on here who outright said they don’t believe S and guess what they are still members unless they requested to have their accounts deleted or chose to delete it themselves. Unlike Tumblr, where the blogger has sole control over which comments and asks, they want to post and can and primarily do only post things to fit their narrative, we can’t do that here. You don’t have to wait for someone else’s decision to express your opinions because it happens in real-time.  Yes, we did ask you not to talk about the Tumblr hate anymore because when it was discussed, it took the board entirely off topic and started unnecessary drama on our site that we don’t want any part of, and that was our right. If you honestly think that Tumblr blog posts every ask, she gets and isn’t picking and choosing and probably even making fake asks to suit her narrative, you are incredibly naïve. As you can tell, the blogs who said legal action was being taken against us were lying or we would have taken the site down. We told you we have nothing to hide and aren’t going anywhere, so we don’t know why this new blog thinks the things she says might make us shut this site down or make everyone leave. In fact, she is giving us a lot of free advertisement as our membership level increases every day. The screenshots allegedly from Tyler on a different blog were 100% fake, and if you have followed Tyler for any amount of time, you know this. If you think their follow up screenshot of Tyler telling someone else, they are real, when he gets thousands of messages a day, but just so happened to see those and replied, you are not thinking clearly. Have we gotten things wrong sometimes, of course, we have, we are human, and sometimes we jumped the gun on things and misspoke. But you know what is different about us is we are not afraid to admit that and we own our mistakes. We can also admit there are still some things we posted that may not be true because our source was lied to, and we don’t know the full extent of those lies. We know some of you don’t believe our source was legit, and we respect your opinion and understand why you feel that way. We know our source, have more information than most of you, and we not only believe her, we stand by her. That being said, we will never try to force anyone to conform to our opinions. I spent quite some time to observe the premium channel of Yo Crypto, a reader has recommended them for the great success he had with them. At first, I wanted to skip it for superficial reasons: a Guy Fawkes image as the logo, the only plan is a one-time fee – as you know we are not a fan of such things. I contacted them anyways for some chit-chat and to see if they appear legit, as we value our reader opinions and we like hybrid channels that offer regular signals as well as BitMEX ones. Signals Review: The crypto trading signals by Yo Crypto have been excellent for us. Even if you do not want to make use of their Altcoin signals, they’d be still to your advantage. In our test phase where we traded his signals, we had not stop-loss hit and locked in some nice profits. There have been also larger gains, than in this example but this is not about advertising to promise you the heaven, but more to show you how responsible trading works. Yo Crypto does an excellent job with that. We have mentioned countless times how dangerous Bitmex can be – not being too greedy pays off! Be patient, follow his rules and the gains should come. BitMEX Syndicate is quite some time on our list to be added here, and we have been in close contact with their head trader Dan Brown. The canuck is also running barstoolbitcoin.io, a pretty interesting and crypto podcast, worth listening (we have been interviewed by them while ago) and also the Crypto10x YouTube channel. This guy is legit and a pretty serious trader. You won’t find any funny memes in his channel, as he treats trading as a real business, where a loss is a business expense and a win is a revenue. With a very in-depth technical view on the markets, he is keeping a mature view of what is happening over there. We never saw Dan rushing into a trade – like really never! He will not give a single signal, which he is not 100% comfortable with, and he will never let his customers pressure more signals out of him than the market gives to him.

We didn’t get daily signals here, but we definitely get true quality. With the BitMEX Syndicate, we did not recognize the slightest gambling attitude and is meant only for traders that mean it serious. Quality over quantity – this is the motto here and if one feels a craving for constant trades,  there will be a disappointment, in the end, I’m afraid. What these people are missing out tho, is a hit rate of 93.55% (at the time of December, signals tracked which might not yet be visible in the sheet). Geezus, I almost feel like a scammer just writing about such high figures, but I verified the signals and it is insane but true.  To be fair, I have to say there have been months with just three signals, but also 12 in August on the other hand – with an unbelievable hit rate of 100%). Cryptomedics is a well-known channel for special information nobody else has, as well as for great technical analysts. These guys definitely know what they are doing and have quite a big team to deliver some seriously good stuff. Their Elite channel was the only chance to get into their margin channel until now, but recently they opened it, along with their altcoin signals in a bundle for lower budgets. So besides the BitMEX signals, you also get their valuable altcoin signals as well.  For their customers they have prepared documents and webinars ready to make sure no one does stuff on BitMEX, they do not understand. Very good level of education. The channel also comes often with general Bitcoin strategy updates – how to react to the recent ongoing things, how to be prepared for eventualities. Signals Review: Woohoo – these guys rock it with their signals. They offer pretty great margin calls with exact instructions of what to do and where to buy in. What I liked the most with them, besides their high success rate, is that they give exact entries for a laddered entry. This means you don’t enter with 100% of your allocated funds at $6540, but instead they show you several entry points, where you can split these funds to get into the trade with an averaged price – this is a huge risk decreaser! They also trade alts on BitMEX, but honestly, it doesn’t matter, they just kill it there, no matter what they touch! They have a  nice set of great traders in their stack, which will give you much more than just simply buy and sell signals. They offer the traders also very good education, taught along with the signals. Their trader XHB called the short when Bitcoin hit an all-time high, he even called it to go down to the 3k area where it is right now – and got banned from several groups for publicizing his opinion. He is your guy for long-term recommendations. Their trader Jonas is a fantastic day trader, a math guy that really knows his shit and is in the trading game for a very long time – way before Crypto was a thing for the masses. Jakov is their newest addition to the team and he posts very elaborate signals with a heavy emphasis on the education factor. He is also in charge of live streams and live trades with the clients, hosts webinars and Twitch sessions (he runs the infamous GET GOOD TA channel and has contributed the Weekly Open Strategy to SmartOptions). The signals are often updated while running as the traders seem to have stopped sleeping, giving you the best possible returns. GREAT stuff that makes me really raving about them! The signals come with technical analysis and most often with an explained reasoning right after, also the trading style (like day trade or swing trade) is mentioned. Furthermore, they developed a really good sheet on Google Docs which lets you calculate the sizing for each position to stay in line with a perfect risk management. This, in conjunction, with being “SIGNAL PROVIDER OF THE MONTH” for the third time in a row makes Cryptomedics a solid choice.

The Results:  You really cannot compare Cryptomedics to the other channels as you get updates on the trades on a very special level, tweaking your profits to the max while educating you about the trades. Margin Signals is trading power from Down Under! The sun seems to have a positive influence on their success rate. A great trader is out to make a great job providing excellent signals for BitMEX and altcoins on top. Mainly they post BitMEX signals, but they don’t refrain to post a good altcoin opportunity which you could take on your Binance or Bittrex account for some extra profits. The free channel gets most of the unleveraged calls and once in a while a margin trade. Right now they offer only margin calls for BitMEX, but soon they will support Bitfinex and also regular Forex calls on top. If we let the numbers alone, I would call out Margin Signals as my personal favorite channel. Robbo just does an excellent job – and the chat of Margin Signals is actually the only one I am personally active in. There are tons of extra trades as their members are a real resource.  To be crystal clear: Margin Signals are Swing Traders, and you will be shocked about the targets often in the first place, but smiling your way to the bank once they hit. Their success rate is a bit lower than the other, but the trades that hit the targets are so rewarding, that you will be happy with the loss from the prior trade. And it is not as bad as it sounds, with ~60% success rate and these ultra high targets the outcome is fantastic. Especially if you manage it to get into the auto trader (limited and with waiting line). If you are in, you will be happy to have found one of the VERY few opportunities for a passive income. Since we monitor their success, auto traded accounts must have grown pretty much month by month!

Signal Example: An example of a leveraged BitMEX signal and how the trade turned out. Margin Signals publishes swing trades – which enables to get into a position and hold it far longer than day trader would. Hence we have the opportunity to catch some bigger swings and therefore bigger profits. Since quite a few months, I was a member of the free channel of Margin Whales. I liked the quality of their posts and already asked them ifthey want me to check their premium channel. Unlike, the most I got no very enthusiastic reply and we left it like that. It is OK for me and I value that, as I know good quality traders are often not very fond of marketing and not very good in promoting their stuff (hence other paid groups or coaching products like courses, etc. which are marketed very good, are often garbage or scam). However, sometime later, one of the channel owners of our other listed signal providers, asked me if I know these “Margin Whales” guys as they’d produce nice results. I contacted them again, and finally, I got a seat on their channel.  Check with me, which quality & results the BitMEX trading group delivered.

Margin whales is a channel for leveraged trading signals for BitMEX and similar exchanges that allow margin Trading, but they also offer a second channel for Altcoin signals included in the Membership. Since its inception end of June ’18, they had quite a good series of success and might be a good addition in your signal provider arsenal. There is not much to tell about the story behind the channel, but this is sometimes not the worst to keep a clear view of the signals itself. Let’s review them.

Signals Review: Margin Whales are not spitting signals like a firework but are still quite frequent and active. I actually don’t like it if it gets too active – the amount of tradable assets on BitMEX is limited, and if you place e.g. shorts on multiple altcoin futures there, you are increasing your risk exponentially due to the dependence of Bitcoin moves. Margin Whales play the responsible card and you still get an average signal amount of around 20 signals a month. These are around 70% regular trades, 25% scalp trades and 5% so-called Whale Trades, where they play bigger moves.  If a signal setup fails, they detect it very fast and get out at breakeven quickly to avoid a stop-loss. I can say that they are very good in re-evaluating the market situation and take action proactively, something that is rare to find. They don’t just want to push signals to deliver, they seem to care for the signals published, which is a great attitude. Furthermore, I liked it that they kept an eye on the markets in general. For example, if they are long with an altcoin future, they keep on monitoring the behavior of Bitcoin. If a bearish outlook forms, they are likely to close the altcoin long trade. As said, Margin Whales trade very actively. While you don’t get multiple trades per day, they treat each signal carefully and support you while it is running with directions according to their observations. The chosen risk:reward ratios are very reasonable (see trade example), something I really like to see. With the active market monitoring, they are able to get out of the most failed setups at breakeven, which gives a warm and fluffy feeling, as every trader’s first job is to reduce risk and to protect capital. This is done very precisely with Margin Whales. An area of improvement could be the signal reasoning: If you like to understand the signal given, by looking at their technical analysis, you’d need to ask for it as the signals itself are presented without further reasoning. This has been different in the past, if you scroll up the history, you can find great technical analysis, reasoning and expert tips on risk:reward and risk management – I’d love to see this again!

Signal Example: In this example from today you can see how they figured the recent drop of Bitcoin and closed their altcoin long position before that, switching their bias according to the market movements.

And here is how it played out on the charts:

The Results: Overall, the results have been pretty good. I want to imagine this service on an auto trader as one thing is a downside: if you enter a trade by Margin Whales, you should be around to receive the updates and act accordingly to reproduce the same results. Happily, it is possible to have custom alerts on Telegram for particular channels, so this would be a quick fix.  In December, we had 22 signals, where 12 have been closed in profit, 4 losers,  5 closed at breakeven, and one order has not been filled.  Considering only the winners and the losers we have a juicy success rate of 75%, considering the trades closed at breakeven we are at 57.17%. The achieved profits have been in the range of 12 to 87% and the month closed with almost 500% profit, a figure which has been already exceeded by the time of writing for the current month January (we are currently at 580%), so we might close this month with even better numbers. The risk:reward ratio has been chosen wisely and the loss never exceeded 17% (maximum loss in December). The fees of the paid group can be found on the lower side, so if one takes some of their trades, the monthly fee might be back in the pocket with some trades, though, of course, past results can’t speak about the future outcome.

How to use BitMEX Signals

Golden Rules when trading these Signals

This is a small BiMEX Signals 101 on how to not burn your account. Follow this rules to a T and you will have your account very long and prosper. I know, many people just join signal groups and go all in, in full trust, but this is not how to do it, this is the way to burn your account. Traders are never 100% right, 60-70% is great rate and these tested providers have shown this number consistently for a longer timeframe. But there will be losers – it is normal! Here are the rules for you to print and glue them on your desk.

Allocate no more than 10% of your total equity for each trade.

If the entries are even numbers, modify them to odd numbers

Spread this 10 % for each signal 4% at entry, 3% more above, another 3% even more above for short order, 4% at entry, 3% below and another 3% if the price drops even more for a buy order.

Back then, dropshipping started becoming more difficult as competition became fiercer, and people found ways to gain an edge over most dropshippers. Then Chinese entrepreneurs showed up, and with their prices and free shipping, they pushed the remaining businesses aside.

In fact, that’s why Shopify is so popular right now. You don’t really have to compete with anyone directly, and you can rewrite most product information into your own similar offers. You can also provide upsells and complements, which isn’t possible on eBay.

However, did things change? Is Paul’s course worth the $247-297 (depending on the payment method? Let’s find out.

Reviewing Dropshipping Titans

The sales page is fairly standard with other courses today. It tries to hype you about forgetting about working office hours, but it does lack the pictures of the mentor’s income and all that flashy showcasing.

It’s a pretty good video, and it does its job as it should: it shows Paul knows what he’s doing. However, there was something strange; Paul says his income is $10,000 monthly, but the page says $15,000.

Another problem is that you won’t learn about the limits on eBay for newcomers. People new to the platform have to prove they’re not scammers, and you won’t be able to sell all you want on it. You’re limited just to selling 10 weekly items.

Once you reach it, you need to go through different processes to increase it, so eBay really handicaps new sellers against the already-existing dropshippers.

What do you get with this course?

Once you sign for the course, you have instant access to all the content. There’s no unlocking modules or having to wait before continuing.

The course actually has quite a lot of content. You get more than 70 different training videos and 18 modules detailing the steps in Paul’s business approach. You also have the standard Facebook private group and bonuses.

The bonuses are some scripts for consumer service you can download and a few modules on scaling your business.

Modules 1, 2, and 3

First up, you get to see his sales revenue from a single month, circling the $150,000 mark. That’s it: $5,000 daily. However, it does come from a preloaded website from before the start of the video, and since he didn’t refresh the page, you’re left to believe this image.

Why not just make a video from the start and log into your account to show everything?

The second module is where you actually start to learn something. It’s a series of four videos explaining the fundamentals of the business model, which a lot of people will already know.

Then there’s the video explaining what eBay is… yes.

The last module dedicates to PayPal, what it is, and why it’s necessary. There’s probably a few people who haven’t heard about PayPal, but you’re still getting several videos and two modules that could all be summarized into a single video.

Finally, the last module is also focused on US members. If you’re not from the States, then make sure you research what you need to open an account; you don’t want it banned.

Module 4

The next module focuses on setting up your own store on eBay. It’s extremely basic stuff, and he’s mostly just telling you what you’re going to see on the eBay interface anyways. Even children would have zero issues with it.

You then learn about how to set up the policies for the business, which is fairly useful when compared to what we just saw.

This is yet another module dedicated solely to US members. By now, it should be clear that if you’re not from the US, then you’re going to research a lot on your own since Paul clearly didn’t think about overseas audiences when making this.

Modules 5 through 15

Everything here focuses son how to set up your business on eBay, because it seems you need 10 whole modules for that.

There’s not much to say about it: you learn about how you can list your products, optimize titles, and set up your layout. There’s also information and tips on order processing and how to handle customer comments.

If you’ve used eBay in the past, then you’ve also tried most of the features he explains here.

Module 20

The last module finally gives you what you wanted to get: how to find the products for your business. Yes, you had to skip through 19 modules before you get what you actually paid for, and I even started thinking I had taken the wrong course or that the sales page link had redirected me incorrectly.

But no, turns out the sales page is just really misleading.

Everything is fine, though, we’re already where we’re supposed to be. You get a video with Paul explaining which products you can sell for a whopping 3 minutes.

Yes, that’s mostly it. You’re out of luck if you were expecting to learn about product research, how to find good suppliers and trending products. The only “depth” here is Paul recommending you use HomDepot for finding inspiration on good products.

Again, yes, I’m not joking here, and we’re just setting up for the grand finale.

You then get to see Paul’s business model, the one you’re supposed to learn with this course. He dropships from Walmart to his store, and it seems to be gift cards.

Why is that bad?

Well, international businesses can’t checkout with Walmart. If you do, and you’re not US-based, then your IP gets blocked and all your orders cancelled. So, if you’re not an US-based student, then you just waited 20 modules to confirm that this course won’t do much for you.

Is It Worth It? Final Verdict

Sure, it may have seemed like a great course at first. After all, you’re getting 20 entire modules spanning over 70 videos on how to set up a dropshipping business on eBay and follow Paul’s steps into making $15,000 every month.

Sure, that’s what the sales page tells you, but if you believed it, you’re in for a disappointment.

Yes, you get 20 modules. Yes, you get more than 70 videos. But once you finish the course, you’ll find yourself having sat through hours of how to create an account on eBay and PayPal, how to list products, how to find inspiration with HomeDepot, and how you can manage your business by optimizing your listings and getting rid of any negative feedback.

And you paid more than $200 for that –almost $300 if you decided to pay the $99 monthly for 3 months.

That’s pretty much what your standard eBay salesman does. Not even the ones who take the business seriously, it’s what people do for selling on the platform now and then, so he either didn’t know how to explain his business, was extremely lucky, or simply lied to make money from selling his course.

I can only say I’m really disappointed with this one. You’re actually getting quite a lot of content for the price you’re paying, but it’s neither the content you were promised nor something you’ll only find here.

You can find most of the information here for free on YouTube and online articles and guides, and you can even get it explained specifically for your location, so you’re paying nothing for much more useful content than this course.

Needless to say, skip it unless you’re looking for an expensive guide to creating an online store on eBay instead of Shopify.
