What? People don’t like the idea of Baela and Jace being in love? Haven't they seen how stunning they look together with their curly hair, fierce attitudes, and all-around perfect aesthetic? They’ve got companionship, a deep understanding of each other, and support for each other. What’s not to like? Jace is Baela’s number-one defender.. Honestly, it’s baffling. I mean, sure, people are free to ship whoever they want, but why does it have to be at the expense of Baela? She’s a fantastic character. Pairing Jace with Baela just makes sense – they complement each other perfectly. I get that everyone has their own preferences, but sometimes, it feels like people are overlooking the beauty of what’s right in front of them.

Racism is always the answer at least 50 percent of the time I've found.

It's not that people don't like Jace and Baela as a concept. It's that she's played by a black actress. Tale as old as time really, look to the left to see SydCarmy and then look to the right to see Bamon (Bonnie and Damon).

Like if we look at them from the time they meet:

It's an instant connection where she comforts him after he just complains about not being able to grieve his real father.

People refuse to see how perfect they are or try to push Jace towards someone who's white. The person they claim is always white.

It's a pointless endeavour trying to understand it and trying to get people to see it. Let's just be cute and admire the perfect it couple of Westeros like Anon does.

Favorite tvd season: Season 2 with ease. I thought the Stelena and Forwood were amazing. The mythology actually seemed to make sense imo, there were a fuck ton of Bamon scenes, the intro of the originals, a little Klonnie. Not to mention Klefan!

Least favorite t7s ships: Jackie/Fez, Donna/Hyde, & Jackie/Kelso for obvious reasons. Donna/Casey for the obvious reasons of Casey taking advantage of Donna’s grief and manipulating her. But also the fact that he’s 21 while Donna is 17 when dating him. Not even like 18. She was still a minor.

Favorite forwood scene: Their first kiss. Aesthetically it’s beautiful and I just love how bold Tyler was to make that first move. And the second one where Caroline just leans in with him is so 🥹.

Hey! I was listening to your podcast and when you were talking about fighting with the DickKory twitter fans who kept tagging on Kory and Anna’s hair that reminded me of something! At one point some Bamon fans started making jokes about Bonnie’s wig and dragging her and all the black fans were like nope! What we aren’t gonna do is sit here dragging a bw hair. They apologized and didn’t try it again. Now why the FUCK was you saying picking at Anna’s hair a problem?

I remember that! All the BW were like look there’s a long nasty history when it comes to our hair and the last thing Kat needs to see is her own fans saying “btw we agree with the racists you don’t look good enough for the male leads”. That would have done nothing for her to see more people keekee-ing at her insecurities.

I can say with confidence Bonnie fans gave a damn about not having things in common with racists which is why those Bonnie fans were like “oh that’s true my bad” and never did it again.

Sadly I think most Dickkory fans on Twitter at least couldn’t care less if Anna sees them reposting TikTok’s that mock her looks. Or if she sees them droning on and on about lack of edges, the color, the volume, the this the that. The racists all agree and that’s who they are in cahoots with everytime they do it.

Anna gets no benefit from seeing her own fans say “love you but still don’t like how you look this season 💜”.

My conclusion is they don’t care how she may feel. They want retweets and to cackle over her wig with self hating bw and male fans that have women avi’s. One of the worst offenders of targeting her appearance as a “fan” is a black man. Because of course it is.

Anyway shout out to Bamon fans. We were anti racist and we meant that shit! And we link up to stream Kat’s movies to this day. The support was genuine and not just about liking the aesthetic of her with a WM.

I’m currently writing a Bamon fic that basically reimagines TVD, starting with them starting college and with Bonnie as the protagonist. And like I have SO many headcanons I’m gonna incorporate. A lot of them comes from the show but just elevated.

1. Bonnie

My lovely, mistreated Bonnie… boy do I have ideas for you. First of all, she’s going to have some good ass hairstyles. BLACK GIRL hairstyles. I think Bonnie loves to wear curly ponytails with decorated scarves, or like some long knotless braids. AHHH I have some ideas for her hair. But speaking of style, Bonnie loves the bohemian aesthetic. So, air of half tops, waist beads, long skirts, etc (go on Pinterest and type “bohemian black girl, and you’d see what I’m talking about). She wears alot of brown, green, beige and like golden colors. She wears red when she’s feeling spicy. Bonnie is also into candles, HEAVILY, and crystals. She’s not religious but spiritual. And for college, she’s majoring in dance and minoring in occult studies. Her favorite genre of dance is contemporary. And her favorite breakfast is cereal, and she’s most likely a vegetarian. Also I wanna change her background a bit. She actually grew up being raised by her mother and her grandmother. Her father left because he couldn’t or wouldn’t handle with their witch ancestry, when he found out.

2. Damon

Damon’s bisexual. That’s it, that’s the quote. But no seriously, I firmly believe that he is, and I stand by that. And also in my fic, Damon has this kind of… “punk rocker” aesthetic going. Imagine eyeliner, leather jackets with pins, ripped jeans, black and red color pallete. With that being said, he has a SICK fashion sense. He paints his own fingernails, mainly the color black. Another big thing about Damon is that he LOVES music. He is a music fanatic. He adores all the genres and can see the beauty in all of them, and he collects records. He also loves to play various of instruments. He has mastered the piano, the guitar, the violin and the trumpet and other shit too, and he loves to sing but he never sings infront of people. He loves to cook. Whenever he’s frustrated or gets startled, he swears in Italian. And speaking of Italian, Damon and Stefan’s were born in like the late 1400s or the early 1500s in Florence, Italy. And their family portrait was actually painted by the famous painter, Caravaggio. Damon didn’t come to America till the 1920s as he began to admire the American people’s party era.

3. Elena

She actually stays pretty much the same. However, Elena really likes Britney Spears so a lot of her outfits are inspired by her. She wears alot of dark colors, but you will see her in a pink matching tracksuit and a baby blue cropped top. Elena kind of takes every moment to show her belly button. Oh, and she loves cropped jackets. Veryyyyy Y2K going on here. Elena is trynna become a doctor but she’s also minoring in writing.

4. Caroline

I gotta be honest, I have no notes for Caroline cause I think her character in the show was written perfectly enough to be memorable and entertaining. However I think her aesthetic could be boosted up a notch to rest for her image. Caroline wears a lot of bubbly colors. Very bright but also soft color palette, so imagine a lot of soft pinks, blues, whites. She loves to wear plaid skirts and cardigans and sweaters. She’s trying to be a lawyer, which I fully expect from her. Think of Elle Woods without the hot pink.

5. Stefan

Stefan is good ol’ Stefan (except in my head, the version that I like). He’s very athletic, he gives very much sensitive gym bro. And he’s actually kind of passionate about all sports, and watches them regularly. That being said, he also loves writing, specifically poetry. So therefore he’s majoring in writing. Stefan first came to America, following his brother in the 20s. They were trying to make up with each other, and as Damon was trying to teach him how to feed as a normal vampire, it caused Stefan to be the ripper of something something. Basically in the show but different timelines. Oh and Stefan wears the color red and blue a lot, kind of patriotic of him lmao.

In the case of fics, I'm curious: don't you publish on ff net or ao3? For example, I find it a bit strange to do it here on Tumblr because I don't like to comment on tags but putting my comment on a reblog also seems rude and I feel like it breaks the aesthetic (and I saw several authors specifically say that they didn't like it when the people towards that but once again: where should I leave my comment?). Is it better to let you know that we liked it by stuffing your question box? 2/2

which honestly feels like a new phenomenon because it used to be like this:

With this, I do post on ao3 and when it's my Jonsa fic, sure, absolutely I get comments, it's not huge but it's fairly consistent especially since I haven't updated in a year

if it's a TVD especially a Stelena fic? It's worse than here. Three fic series combined don't even make up half of what a single Jonsa series generates.

and I have to delete comments like that Bamon person who said that ao3 was for Bamon and not Stelena (lmao weird).

I publish on tumblr first because tumblr is how I started writing ff and this is where I actually have a community of people asking me for updates or asking for things and then engagement is fairly low when I do it, and I don't just mean notes. So I would like asks about the fics to continue, it would just also be great if the amount of notes reflected the apparent level of interest :)
