And I promised fun facts, so...

The early days...

The reason I can date my first fave to Rukia in 2009 is because that was when I made a Fanfiction.net account and posted my first fanfic. Don't read it I was young and foolish.

Bleach, Inuyasha, and Sailor Moon were my first animes. The first two I definitely watched on Adult Swim back when I still watched cable.

I used to be pretty skilled at self defense and even have a first degree black belt. One of the reasons why Ran from Detective Conan really left an impression on me.

There's a few unnamed faves that I also had from more obscure anime that were from so long ago that I can't pinpoint the exact years. A special shoutout to Asuka from Ask Dr. Rin! This show is in no way affiliated with Tohsaka Rin lol.

And yes, I do have male faves besides Mamoru! I love Hak and his constipated repressed feelings for Yona (Akatsuki no Yona) and my in-game name in FGO is inspired by Kurogane (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles). And for whatever reason, Fred is my favorite from Scooby Doo.

Honestly, I have to give Elsa some credit. I think she started the trend of my faves being "blonde/light haired "regal" rich/well off BAMF ladies who seem cold and distant on the surface but are actually dorks over-burdened and forced to grow up too fast, with a dash (or a ton) of family angst dumped on them." I mean, do you see any of my past faves being blonde? xD

The college days...

I was in denial about being queer and swore I was straight until I somehow found Carmilla the Webseries (I don't even know how) during the summer of 2015 and had a multi-step process of acceptance that went something like "Oh the actress for Laura Hollis is hot. Oh the actress for Carmilla is cute, pretty, and a huge dork. Oh everyone is pretty attractive. Wait mostly just the girls. Wait is that why I don't give a shit about men?"

Little Witch Academia is not only the first series where I published fanfic on AO3, but it's also the series that got me to write AND finish longer stories. So congrats, Diana! I really wanted to angst you :D It's also the fandom where I found my closer Discord friends. Love y'all, mwah.

I think Revue Starlight might be the series that squeezed the most faves out of me. It holds a special place in my heart for numerous reasons, but the main one might be the collab fic I worked on with Quill, who is now my partner 😊So thanks, ReLive even if your gacha game is somehow even worse than FGO.

That said, the series I seem to always go back to seem to be the To aru and Fate franchises. Maybe it's because they're still ongoing.

Those two are also the reason I started messaging Quill back in the day, so they hold an extra special place in my heart. Even with all their flaws.

And then Lostbelt 6 hit FGO and blew everything out of the water. I rave about Morgan a lot but that chapter of the game truly had a stellar cast. Nasu wanted us to remember that he can cook lol.

Akatsuki No Yona Ch 215 Coloring part 2

Wishful thinking for the King's Affection under the cut with mild spoilers

What I want to happen

1. Lee Hyun loves his cousin and his best friend so much that instead of getting jealous, he loves seeing the two people he loves love eachother and be stupid happy.

2. Shin So Eun falls hard for Lee Hwi and forgets her crush on Jung Ji Woon. Now Lee Hwi has four love interests.

3. Shin So Eun figures out Lee Hwi is a woman rather quickly and doesn't care because we all love Lee Hwi. Lee Hwi is a bamf. I hope she punches more people. We all do.

4. Lee Hyun and Shin So Eun hatch a plot to protect Lee Hwi. Shin So Eun will marry Lee Hwi.

5. Because we need a royal heir, Lee Hyun gets Shin So Eun preggers. Bam! Royal line continues. (Oh wait - will Lee Hwi need to consummate the marriage with Shin So Eun in front of witnesses like in other sageuks? That makes this part complicated.)

6. Some eunuch is really a cute girl in disguise for Kim Ga On. I saw some cutie in the teaser for the next ep and since sageuks are pretty classist, it makes sense for the guard and the eunuch to hook up. Bam! Now there's a eunuch to take care of Lee Hwi when Court Lady Kim and Eunuch Hong age out of taking care of Lee Hwi.

7. Polycule Lee Hwi, Jung Ji Woon, Lee Hyun, and Shin So Eun live happily with Kim Ga On and cutie eunuch protecting their secret and blended family.

8. Lee Hyun gets to finally mourn the real Lee Hwi with Dam-I, which he never got to do in the past. They cry a lot.

9. Blah blah something political happens. Grandpa and henchman dies. King really knew about Lee Hwi all along. Younger half-brother prince isn't a little brat but just sad that Lee Hwi never played with him before. Queen Jang Sun was actually only resentful of Lee Hwi b/c she felt that Lee Hwi wasn't nice to her kid. I want Dam-I to have a family that loves her.

10. Maybe the hot prince step-uncle that never talks but is always in camera shots is the baddie. You can't be that hot and not get any good scenes. I want to see blood trickle from the corner of his mouth while he emotes from his pretty, dark eyes.

11. Ha ha! I forgot about Jung Ji Woon and Lee Hwi, but I really kind of hope he's kept in the dark until they feverishly pull robes off of each other and he's just. like. confused. But goes for it anyway like the bi king he is.

Who am I kidding? This is a sageuk and Korea loves to torture me whenever I find a female lead I'm in love with. The best I'm expecting is a faked death and DamI and JiWoon run away to Ming together. (That's where Jung Ji Woon went to grad school after all.) Chief Eunuch would protect their secret because Lee Hwi protected his secret love affair. They would be rich because JiWoon saved the life of that other dude played by Son Jong Hak who could get him a place at court. Then Lee Hyun and Shin So Eun could come to visit them. Lee Hyun goes there all the time anyway. This ending would displease me because it implies that Lee Hwi starts presenting as a woman and nobody wants that.

My idea for a Dark Crystal AU

EDIT: Decided to call this 'Revived AU' because two of my friends suggested it.

I had this idea that all of the skeksis and mystics who died before the great conjunction had resurrected and they're younger.

My friend suggested that maybe an imprint of their essense was left on Thra so they poofed up

Maybe they have to wait for the next great conjunction to arrive. For the meantime, they must survive and find their place among Thra's residents. Oh yeah, there's gelfling survivors in this AU.

skekMal would target Jen because he reminds him of Rian.

Jen: "I'm telling you that I'm not Rian!"

skekMal: "Nice try fooling me, I know that lying tongue anywhere"

So urSu comes to the rescue to save Jen (again). And while the two are fighting off Mal, the hunter felt a sense of deja vu as the two were able to push him off.

'Just like father and son'

Maybe Mal runs off after realizing that this mystic belongs to skekSo so he can't hurt him. Then urSu and Jen have a heartfelt reunion with tons of hugs. They'll be catching up and Jen would tell him all about Kira.

Tih, Sen and Ma would band together and follow urSu. Jen gets to meet Tih again. Sen and Ma meet Jen for the first time. Naturally they're very curious to hear the story that their master had raised a gelfling.

San just wanders the waters again.

Aughra would be ecstatic to meet urVa again, she would visit some of skeksis to nag at them. Maybe Mal is afraid of Aughra now.

I'd imagine the first ones to die to be unhinged. It'll be skekHak, urHom, skekYi and urYa.

Hak and Yi being crazy and are extremely deadly. They are more akin to beasts and speak in garbled talk. While Hom and Ya are despondent and have little awareness of what's going on. Any injuries they receive, they have little to no reactions to.

Hak and Yi actually hunt together so they're more fearsome to encounter than Mal. They're a deadly duo who communicate to each other without needing speech. The other skeksis didn't recognize these two at first.

So would demand the other skeksis to follow him but they were like "Nah, we just resurrected so no way would we spend another lifetime following you".

This lead him to do some self reflection or him trying to come up with plans of getting his throne back. So far his only allies are Var and Mal to assist him. So and Var live with each other while So struggles to come with terms that this is his life now. Var is taking this in stride and is always there for the former emperor.

urVa is trying to discover the beasts who had been destroying Thra and killing indiscriminately. The mystic is wandering the woods to find the source.

Mal is trying to figure out what has been scaring off the other animals since his traps aren't catching anything for days. He found tracks that he recognized as skeksis.

Mal has been discovered by the duo, he couldn't believe that these two beasts are skekHak and skekYi. He tried calling out for them to cease or else. But they didn't listen and Mal couldn't hold them back. Then urVa comes to his aid and they worked together. They were able to fend off the two skeksis. While urVa and skekMal are nursing their wounds, they began conversing with one another with no venom between them. For the first time, they understood one another and slowly began the start of their friendship.

Lach would be really sad that Ok wasn't there with her. She goes back to doing what she knows best: pillaging. Jen and Kira received reports that a rogue skeksis is seen riding away on a Phegnese with many Arduffs following her. She's a BAMF and I love her. Thanks @candythemew for the barbarian/pillager idea!

Maybe OkAc visits her and they'll both be crying.

Sa and Tek are not on anyone's side, I like the thought of these two just bunking together since Tek needs some protection. It's nice that Sa can have some company that isn't out to betray her. Tek appreciates having a friend that isn't a dick.

Li and Lii, I know really nothing about them. Maybe they can be sassy neighbors or be dabbing on the others.

EDIT: I forgot to talk about Gra and Goh! They're so happy to be alive and together again. They often visit Jen and Kira, they recognized Jen as Rian's son. They're the fun uncles.

I see these two spending more time together and constantly hugging each other. Goh is happy to meet the other mystics and Gra is busy making fun of So's cruddy house.
