Someone mentioned that Ace's hat makes him look like an Aussie and my headcanon now is that when he gets excited he will speak exclusively in Australian lingo that is incomprehensible to anyone not Australian (Luffy and Sabo got used to it and even started using some and Sabo then spends 10+ years with no idea why people look at him strange when he says he's not here to fuck spiders)

honestly i've never been a fan of the "sabo and koala are unhinged together/insane together/fucked up together" take for.............. many reasons i don't feel like going into

but.

i do think they are both wildly possessive of the other. and not necessarily (or maybe, not just) in a "this is my person only i am allowed to see them/touch them/etc." way, but more of a "this person is my comfort and the only person i can be truly vulnerable with and if anything were to happen to them i would not be the same." way. this is especially true for sabo, who really gets possessive after marineford.

I'm not entirely sure what Mini-Mingo is doing when Luffy and Kite leave. Her entire family is away from Dawn but she's only 11 years old before the time skip so she has to go to school. Makino is probably looking after her at this point, with Dragon checking in on her while he's keeping an eye on Luffy's travels in the East Blue. Maybe he'll take her to Baltigo when Luffy goes to the Grandline.
