Hi! I'm Ale o Lou, and I'm here to scream about characters who break my heart (and also fix it).

First things first: DARIUS.

My endless love, my obsession, my reason and unreason. There's no escape—and I don’t want one.

I live off love, drama, intense ships, and wordless gazes that say everything.

I consume (Or rather I let them consume me.) anime, manga, movies, music, and books like they're part of my soul.

I draw and write (sometimes poorly, always passionately).

At this point I'm so angry with ML fandom that I'm considering moving to DM fandom and never looking back again cuz this made me cry ML fandom isn't this funny they're just toxic 😭😭😭

That's why I think Baltazar Bratt showed so much hatred towards Gru. He knew him before they saw each other for the first time, he knew Gru was a villain and is a hero now, which must've been insulting to other villains everywhere because not only he "betrayed" their occupation by joining the opposite side, he also got a chance from the heroes to redeem himself, which isn't something everyone would get ever day. Gru is both their competition and enemy.

Also, let's be real, villainy is excitement for a moment, a lot of them will go home to an empty house and have flashbacks of their ruined childhoods or whatever their motivation is, Gru got to do both jobs he loves AND he comes home to a loving family. I bet he is the most hated member of Anti Villain League in the villain world. Instead of being sent to prison he gets kids, a wife, gets to keep his Minions, has another exciting job, plus even Nefario got away too. These villains probably want to puke every time they have to mention his name. He is successful in both villain and hero world. The first time he failed his mission in years was when Baltazar got away but he caught him soon after that. He always wins. You can't top that. He is the example of "get you a man who can do both".

One interesting thing about the Despicable Me franchise is how Gru is retroactively framed as this super successful, super notorious ex-villain when the first movie relies on him being pretty unimpressive in terms of actual villainous accomplishments, to the point that the bank refuses to fund his schemes because they're not profitable. I mean, you steal the moon one time and then suddenly you have all these other villains and villain fighters who have been fans of your work for years? When your three main accomplishments in the field of villainy aside from your very last one are stealing a big TV screen and two knockoff small-scale replicas of famous monuments? We didn't need a Minions: The Rise of Gru because the first movie was already the rise of Gru. He was so unsuccessful as a villain prior that his own mom roasted him for it

Despicable Me 3 review

I just got back from watching this hilarious movie, I burst 3-4 ribs! Hahaha! OK, so first, what I liked about this movie was when Gru met his twin brother Dru. It was hilarious to see them do their first heist together, going after the diamond Baltazar Bratt stole. I loved the animation, sound effects, characters, and the storyline was sad, hilarious, and great. I got to see two long lost brothers create a bond, hilarious cute little minions, and characters I love from the first 2 movies and this one too. I really recommend this movie for everyone, so go get a ticket, popcorn, and go see it!
