Welke wensen leven er voor het cultuuraanbod in de gemeente Barneveld? Dat wil de gemeente graag weten om met  een cultuurvisie aan de slag te gaan. Daarom organiseert de gemeente cultuuravonden. Inwoners, organisaties, cultuuraanbieders, iedereen met een hart voor cultuur is welkom op deze cultuuravonden. De aanleiding om naar het cultuuraanbod te kijken is het coalitieakkoord. Hierin staat dat de gemeente zorgt voor een nieuwe cultuurvisie en uitvoeringsagenda. Cultuur in Barneveld Wethouder Mijntje Pluimers: “Cultuur verbindt en is van iedereen. Ik ben trots op wat er aan cultuur gebeurt in onze gemeente. Zoals cultuureducatie, het culturele verenigingsleven, de cultuurmakers en de vele mooie evenementen die te beleven zijn. Er zijn al veel gesprekken gevoerd met de cultuuraanbieders zelf en dat leverde veel informatie op. Graag horen we ook wat de inwoners van het aanbod vinden en hoe zij tegen cultuur aankijken.” Totaal komen er zeven avonden in verschillende dorpen van de gemeente Barneveld. De opening wordt telkens verzorgd door een lokaal cultuurtalent! Na deze bijdrage gaan de aanwezigen aan de slag aan de hand van een aantal stellingen, zoals: - Hoe wordt cultuur in de gemeente beleefd? - Is er voldoende cultuuraanbod in Barneveld? - Hoe kijkt u aan tegen amateurkunst? Er is natuurlijk ook alle ruimte voor een eigen inbreng. Lokaal cultuurtalent De volgende talenten werken mee aan de avonden: Shantykoor, Jong Gelre, Elkander Getrouw, Sabine Bouw, Balletschool, zandkunstenares Helene Wieringa & Crescendo. Während der vergangenen Jahrzehnte durfte ich meinen persönlichen Traum leben: Mein Hobby wurde zum Beruf aus Berufung. Ich habe Widrigkeiten getrotzt, Erfolge gefeiert und mehr erreicht als ich zu hoffen gewagt hätte.

Nun bin ich bereit für „La Dolce Vita". Als Privatier freue ich mich, auf einen spannenden Unruhestand. Fast so unbeschwert wie zu Beginn meiner Karriere. Jetzt nehme ich mir ohne den Ballast oder die Verpflichtungen eines Schulbetriebes, Mitarbeiterverantwortung u.ä. die Freiheit zu tun, was ich mag, wann ich es mag, wie und wo ich es mag.

Wie der Zufall es will, durfte ich zum Abschluss dieses Lebensabschnittes im Rahmen des neuen WDR Formates „HerzensDinge“ ein wenig aus meinem Leben plaudern. Ab sofort in der ARDMediathek.

„Lebe Deine eigene Melodie des Lebens und tanze nicht nach den Noten Anderer, denn die könnten Dich aus dem Takt bringen.“ Und das werde ich in der Zukunft noch mehr tun, als ich es in der Vergangenheit schon getan habe.

During the past decades I have been able to live my personal dream: My hobby has become a profession out of vocation. I've defied adversity, celebrated success, and achieved more than I dared hope.

But priorities change over the years. Lifetime is the current luxury. A few years ago I started planning to rebuild my company, completed projects and ended the last contracts at the end of the year.

Now I'm ready for "La Dolce vita". As a private individual, I am looking forward to an exciting retirement. Almost as light-hearted as at the beginning of my career, now I take on the burden or obligations of a school, employee responsibility and the like. the freedom to do what I like, when I like, how and where I like.

As luck would have it, I was allowed to chat a little bit about my life at the end of this phase of life as part of the new WDR format "HerzensDinge". From now on in the ARD media library.
