Basically, Baldo Ren is Kylo Ren with no hair. This came from a piece of art from one of the official Star Wars books that showed Kylo Ren bald as a possibility.

Fandom wise, he was a surprise player in Hair Gate, the great dividing war in the reylo fandom where everyone fought over which hairstyle was best, Kylo Ren’s fluffy TFA hair or the sleek awesomeness of Kylo’s TLJ hair.

I’m finally on a break from work this week! I’ve been spending the time to catch up on Reylo art/edit pieces and watch web dramas. It’s been a jumble of Reylo and Chinese drama-land..which has definitely helped me to appreciate how universal literary tropes are across all cultures.
