uuuhhhh excuse me, but what exactly does BaldingMan McCapitalism think tomura’s been doing this whole time??? one of the most compelling, interesting traits of Tomuras’ is that he’s progressively been more frequently putting himself out there with the league, and this isn’t anything new! 

back in 160, Tomura made sure to stay in the thick of it and pull off all these crazy parkour moves to stand with his party members! he treats them as equals who deserve his respect and consideration, and that’s likely part of why they’re so loyal to him!

what about this isn’t ‘putting in your own’????? seriously wtf???? he keeps to the front lines and puts himself at the same risk as his team! say what you want about Tomura’s motivations and personal ethics, he’s developed really strong group leadership and group-building skills! 

he lets his part members ask questions and show doubts, and does his best to give meaningful answers! 

he trusts Dabi here to do his own part and lets Dabi go off on his own! that’s a level of freedom and respect that we don’t even always get on the hero side!

i for one am really looking forward to seeing how Tomura continues to grow; he’s already a leader who respects and puts himself out alongside his teammates, a villain who earns that respect in return. a villain who makes a name for himself and the destruction he creates, becoming so known that even the MHA feels threatened. it makes me wonder what sort of leader, what sort of symbol, he could become when he grows even stronger. 

basically, if ReDumbName is planning on taking out Shiggy easy because our lovely handman can’t ‘touch peoples hearts to inspire others by putting himself out there’ he’s in for a rude awakening.
