The men who were supposed to be their comrades were judging leftist women and hypothesizing they were doing it out of "cynicism or pleasure". They were more concerned about their own masculine dignity than what women were going through. They implied it would have been more honorable for women to sacrifice their lives than their sexual submission to the enemy. Despite all the efforts of socialist women to be active participants and leaders rather than passive members, they were still regarded as prizes and booty to be seized. This was a lack of empathy for the unique vulnerabilities women faced. And helped lead to a feminist consciousness among socialist women.

The bottlenecks of Brazil's logistics infrastructure

The administration of Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is increasing public investment in transport infrastructure but the pace is considered slow.

One area of weakness is railways, where public investment remains low. 

Public investment in logistics infrastructure increased 50% year-on-year to 3.88bn reais (US$816mn) in January-May, according to government figures. Roads received 3.54bn reais in the first five months, up 54.5%, while railway investments fell 57.1% to just 44.2mn reais. 

Luis Baldez, president of cargo transport association Anut, talked with BNamericas about public investments in logistics infrastructure.

Oh nooo!!! The "everyone forgetting Hikari" thing still happened- dammit!!!

This episode felt like it was going to end like. Four separate times, istg there was way too much going on at once, and none of it felt weighty enough aside from Porun crying over Hikari, and I have a feeling that one got me mostly because I have a weakness for the little guy. It just felt like it kept dragging after major stuff that ordinarily would've been excellent places to end the episode. They... Really spent too much time meandering and forgetting that there's a main plot going on and then had to compensate right at the end, huh?

I was actually really confused by what Baldez' whole deal is and what he was saying, like? Obviously Hikaru is Hikari's parallel, of course he's the king's life... Is Baldez the chairect equivalent then, with the other three being the heartiels? I truly don't get what the Doutsuku Zone's whole deal is this season, and given that most of them don't either I think it's just a Baldez problem lmao. They put too many eggs in his basket, and he went and broke them all. In general so far Precure seems to struggle with making their first and final villains interesting? Pisard was barely a threat, Dark King was bland, Ilkubo wasn't believable, Juna had an interesting backstory that went nowhere, Belzei was just a weird dude, Circulas was boring, and now Baldez is incoherent. Like? For some reason the best villains are the ones in the middle- they present the most challenge, menace, or have the most interesting shticks going for them. I hope this is a thing they get better at, but tbf the foot soldiers being more interesting than the final bosses isn't exclusive to precure so I can cut them some slack on that front- I just kinda hope they manage to get back to the greatness of early season 1 villains, because they genuinely did a great job with those and no one in the one and a half season since has even come close.
