ok so trip report before i forget the details
okay so friday afternoon i ditch my mom to go to charleston alone, feel kinda guilty but i really wanted to spend time with my friends and also she CLAIMS she doesnt want to make me miserable, fuck it, im not good enough at pretending not to be miserable. anyway
so i make the 4 hour drive down to my friends place, cant really find the groove at first but then i remember i havent listened to the second half of the jordan lake sessions so i do that and its really wonderful and i get there in a great mood. G made summer-compatible soup and its delicious and then i get drunk (E brought naturdays, which i love). i tell S about how much i care about her cuz i got emotional in the car worrying about him. anyway
next part is a bit time fuzzy but i think it was that night, E bottoms for men taller than him and tops women and men shorter than him, were sort of mutually sub/bratty respectively towards G so theres. a weird dynamic. a fun dynamic! but anyway i was teasing him for being a bottom, at some point i kiss him and then Post about how recieving the kiss rather than doing it yourself is being the bottom "i.e. the receptive" this becomes a Post all weekend. during the kissing he bites my split lip hard and it bleeds all over, i get blood on the nang thingy.
oh at some point that night L (the catboy) i think posted about how im a fake catgirl cuz of the pliability/obedience, so doggirlhood became a point of discussion all weekend
oh that night my drunk and asleep self is dropped in H's bed for the night. he likes it really cold and hes not cuddly so i alternated between cuddling against him for warmth and then moving away when i felt guilty about his boundaries
ANYWAY next day we go to the apartment building's gym, i do a little bit of cardio and ogle my friends lifting weights. im SO weak. also cardio sucks. before and after i showered with G, which is always nice. we go wine tasting and L's job and then pick up some groceries. i had been talking since i got there about how ive never really been properly bruised and i want to be. i make myself eggs and leave the cast iron pan in water cuz i forgot i wasnt supposed to, G is genuinely kind of annoyed with me and has H punch me pretty hard in the stomach. i took it pretty well i think, made a noise but then silently laid on the futon in the middle of the living room recuperating for a bit.
that night im encouraged to sleep in H's bed (they joke encourage me to suck his dick while im asleep) i lay down in there but feel too creepy thinking about cuddling against him so i come back out. me and S sleep on the futon, in the warmer room. S is a dom but not stronger than me and also we have a fun-antagonistic relationship sometime so theres some physical/verbal tussling where i assert him domming me outside of a mediated environment would ruin the fragile power balance. also i brag about being able to beat her in a fight a lot.
ok so next day i realize i like it when i press on the painful spot, ask G and later E to press on it, it feels really good, i alternate between really wanting it pressed on and feeling guilty about being so incredibly weird. theres commentary from L about if theres any way they can hurt me i wont get off on (his nails work lol). i mention this whole thing, including them punching me, is really weird, G brings up that i explicitly asked to be punched. so yeah i would say at least 60% my bad. anyway. it was really fun getting it palpated.
oh also i suck G's dick! it was really nice. it's big which means its pretty hard to do a good job with but i try my best and he says i look cute and calls me a good girl. which was very nice. i had to tap out before he came tho i was exhausted. its long enough that it passes back and forth over my throat a lot which is no good for not gagging, i can keep it in my throat for a while but quick in and out makes me very quickly feel like im gonna barf.
that night theres further discussion re: doggirlhood, L is annoyed im drooling on the futon and i say i cant help it (i cant! i drool when i sleep!), E kindly reframes this as a doggy thing. later L mentions they need like one of those little indoor fences for keeping puppies when they want me out of the way, E and G suggest crate training (a different thing, L is annoyed at the misunderstanding). theres also some talk about how they could probably get me to do things they dont want to do for them, described as "bitch work" at one point. E tells me to make him some popcorn but he does it with a joking tone, i say he has to say it seriously if he wants me to do it and he gets up and makes the popcorn himself
this was like. ok some of these doggirl interactions were hot ofc but i feel like they were largely like.... "affirming". which is obv a weird way to frame it but thats really how it felt. like, im not dogkin, or even doggirlkin, but there was definitely a distant family resemblance to gender euphoria, idk.
anyway it was really really fun! i had a good time. my friends are so nice to me, which i say a lot to them, cuz they really really are. G calls me spoiled when i get to cuddle between him and E and im getting lots of attention and warm and good. E made me guacamole. i get lots of scritches (E is so good at them...) and headpets and cuddles (and interesting conversation! they know so much about so much stuff i dont. and also i get to explain math to them. also theyre really funny and stuff) 100% worth skipping out on my mom.

Paul - Mains Paladin because that's SIR Paul McCartney (and he’s actually terrible at DPS because he can’t do positionals.) Writes and updates the Paladin guide for The Balance. Enjoys the rush of the wall to wall pull. His highest priority is keeping his burgerking crown at the start of each expansion. Reviews the ACT logs after each raid and writes detailed feedback to everyone on how to improve their DPS. Not so secretly wounded that George has higher rDPS than he does. Played as a catgirl for the majority of the game but once female Viera came out he immediately fanta'ed and won't switch back despite the lack of hats since Day 1. Never plays while high but will blaze afterwards each time. Has an bunboy alt on Mateus that is always wearing underpants on the Lodestone. Publicly feuds with John in Discord about whether RPers are “casuals” and if they’re really ruining the game. Coordinates social events for the FC.
John - Healer main despite it being braindead because he enjoys the group depending on him. One of the people who raged about the devs making the fairies mechanically identical because he wants "depth" in his game. Keeps Dark Knight leveled in case Paul needs to be replaced or to off-tank but otherwise sticks to Scholar after he levels all healing jobs. Takes the “healer gf/tank bf” jokes way too seriously as they strike too close to home. Annoyed at the dev team for making healers DPS but he sucks it up since it's easy. He only gets high while rouletting because pubbies stress him out more than Ultimates. Main is a catboy and he won’t fanta as a point of pride even though no one else cares. Publicly he looks down his nose at RPers dismissing them as "casuals ruining the game". Has lewd mods installed and a secret account as a male Viera that he uses to ERP with Paul. Owns the FC but never contributes except to kick drama seekers. Was one of the people who parked a mount in front of Dreadwyrm Academy.
George - Leveling all the jobs and can do anything well. Got all of them to Lvl 80 before Endwalker. Happily wastes time farming Ishgard Restoration era diadem because he can get blazed and do whatever. He also raids while high. Actually he spends most of the game high as fuck. Despite this he has the highest rDPS and regular DPS in the entire group according to FFlogs, much to Paul’s annoyance. He also has ACT installed and feuds with Paul in their Discord server over improving his play style since Paul makes more mistakes then he does. When conversations get really heated he brings up how Paul flamed out in Eureka halfway through Pagos because Paul couldn't keep Monk positionals straight, causing him to ragequit the chat at least once a month. Also has a mentor’s crown but never turns it on. Plays as a Lalafell and has a privated mansion on the beach in Mist. If George left then the FC would run out of company actions in a week.
Ringo - Fishing main and Dancer is his MSQ class because he doesn’t care if the game is difficult or not. Doesn't pay attention to Paul's suggestions because he has the post-raid analysis category in Discord muted. If he needs to improve something George will DM him or tell him in the voice chat. Fantablob who can never settle on a specific look. George made him a tenant of his mansion and Ringo always logs out in George's garden. George gave him decorating privileges for the mansion and Ringo is always updating the look to reflect the seasonality in-game. When John and Paul made fun of his decor he had George private the house so it was just the two of them. The only Beatle who played the game since 1.0 and always stans Yoshi-P in the chat when John is going off on the devs. Knows that he has leverage over Paul because he and George do everything in the FC and that this means they can never actually be kicked since John and Paul both refuse to earn company actions. Impossible to tell if he’s high or sober since he always sounds the same over voice chat.

TMNT x neko!reader
AN: I know, I hate using the term neko because it makes me feel like I'm using a term that isn't mine but I couldn't think of a gender-neutral and well known way to say catgirl/catboy so I settled with neko. Basically just a small story where they find out you're a 'neko' after you had been hiding it. Tell me if you want more tmnt x neko!reader content! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It starts with you going to the lair, just like any normal day. The same beanie and skirt you wore every time. You were obviously uncomfortable whenever you wore them, so it puzzled the brothers that you had continued to wear the two items wherever you went.
Your beanie was f/c, with small ears sewn on the top. Sometimes the brothers swear they can see it twitch from time to time, but they could never prove it so they left it alone. Your skirt always seemed to have a slight bump in the back right above your butt, however they couldn't bring it to your attention without it being awkward. Over all, it was suspicious but they couldn't do much about it. Until one day...
Leonardo:
You strutted into the lair, doing a quick scan of the room before being able to find Leonardo. You walk over to him as he's looking over some sort of map on the table. Your shoes click against the ground as you bounce in place. He acknowledged your presence, greeting you and giving you a brief hug before showing you what he was doing. You had hidden your tail beneath the skirt, but in that moment you had started to forget it was there.
Your bouncing had stopped but before you could notice it your tail was wagging. It had taken a moment for anyone else to see, but they surely saw before you did.
The other brothers peaked over, taking notice of your tail wagging under your skirt as you excitedly listened to Leo talk.
"Y/N.... was that tail always there?" Mikey asked, causing you to panic and hide it again. "Y/N we already saw it." You looked down and showed your tail again, and you removed your beanie to reveal a set of ears hiding within the hat. "Yeah. I didn't want you all thinking I was weird." It took a moment for them all to process that you were hiding the fact you were a mutant, from other more intensely mutated people, to avoid being thought of as weird.
"Alright, that's f**king stupid." Raphael exclaimed from the other end of the room. You had taken slight surprise from the reaction but then you thought for a little longer and realized it was a realistic reaction.
Leo chuckled a bit, looking towards you as you had held your words a bit longer. "Cat got your tongue?"
Raphael:
As you entered the lair, it didn't take long to deduce that the noises in the dojo were because of Raphael. You walked into the dojo, greeting the man in red.
He had quickly noticed you, running over you to catch you in a huge bear hug, slightly lifting you off the ground. He took your hand, leading you to a corner with pillows to watch him train for a little until he finished.
Later on though, he offered you join in to spar. Just for a couple of minutes. Which was a fine and dandy idea, it had been going fine until you tried to do a fancy cartwheel away. It did not go very fancy.
In the middle of your attempt to impress the ninja, you had landed on some scattered equipment and lost balance. Originally you had planned for your movement to keep the skirt up, but it did not. You fell face first with your skirt slightly lifted. The equipment bent upwards from you tripping on it, catching the hat and slipping it off. Your now lifted skirt didn't show any of your underwear and your beanie wasn't ripped, but your tail and ears were surely in view now.
"Heh, cute." Was all Raphael responded with, a small chuckle escaping him. You grabbed the equipment and playfully threw it towards Raphael, which he caught before it could land any hits on him. "Awe I'm sorry, you know I was just KITTEN you!" his pun warranted another piece of equipment thrown at him.
Donatello:
You walked into the lair, immediately hearing the sound of metal clinking and fire spewing from Donatello's lab. You greeted the brothers and walked towards the lab to knock on the door, entering after receiving permission to enter. You found Donatello working on another invention and sat near him. It was some sort of android thing.
He went on and explained the invention to you as you listened to all the details, desperately attempting to understand any of it. Before you knew it he was reaching for the remote, pressing buttons and showing how they work. When suddenly, an arm reached from the robot. Donnie expressed that it wasn't supposed to happen, when the robot grabbed your hat and it's hand kept continuing forwards. Taking your hat with it.
You sat in silence for a minute, newly exposed ears twitching at the change in temperature and newly made exposure. Before you knew it Donnie's focus was switched from explaining the robot to being completely fascinated by your ears. He knew he couldn't see any human ears, but he assumed you had simply hid them under the beanie or something. You had been afraid he would be judgmental, but he was instead filled with joy and curiosity.
He had asked for permission to touch them, in which you absentmindedly said yes. Suddenly his hands were softly petting the ears, observing how they bent and how naturally they corresponded with the rest of you. It was safe to say he had welcomed the new detail. "Good thing that loose robot arm wasn't so cat-astrophic." he said, not pausing his observations.
Michelangelo:
You entered the lab, a bag of candy in hand as you looked around for Mikey. The smell of candy had somehow summoned him, you didn't know he could even smell the candy. The smell had been bothering you but you had assumed it was your heightened smell, but apparently it really did have an intense smell.
He had thrown himself into a hug with you, sneakily trying to grab the candy from you mid-hug. You had caught this, continuously changing hands and moving the candy away from him. This led to a chase around the lair, he went easy on you at first but the game started to get more competitive when you threw some overly-confident jabs at him.
He jumped on you, catching you in another large hug and making it so you couldn't move your arms. "Hand over the candy!" He stated, a joking tone in his voice. "Never!" you responded, attempting to break free from his impossible grip. The way you were positioned caused your hat to slip, but you couldn't re-adjust it because of your trapped arms. Your attempts to reach your hat were proven useless as the movement just caused it to fall off faster. Mikey had been caught up in his victory in retrieving the candy when a fluffy object was now pressed against him.
Cat ears.
It had taken him a moment to process, looking at you, then your ears, then you, and your ears again. "WOOOAH THAT IS SO COOL!" He yelled, dropping the candy and backing away to look at you. You grabbed the candy, handing it to him. Humbly denying the compliment, he rejected your rejection to his compliment.
"Every day you somehow get more and more purr-fect!"
.
.
Note: I'm so sorry I had to fit all those cat puns in. I hope you enjoyed the story, and please tell me if you want more!

Considering Catpeople: A Worldbuilding Shitpost That Will Likely Have Way More Effort Put Into It Than It Really Warrants
Okay, so catboys, catgirls, and nyanbinaries are fairly prominent in pop culture now, right? We've got Catra, we've got...actually that's my only example but I'm sure there are more. I wanted to do some thinking on exactly what sort of environment would warrant the evolution of catpeople into existence and what sort of features any catperson might have. Anyways, let's start with
Origins
Now, I don't think it is probable for catpeople to evolve separately from humans, because humans are, from an evolutionary standpoint, a fringe case, in terms of both being sentient and all of the weird skeleton nonsense that humans get up to. I understand this sort of thing happening once, but I somewhat doubt that it'd happen twice without some serious selective breeding. This is why I consider it more plausible that catpeople were either a splinter from humans or have a recent common ancestor with humans. All the improbable stuff would only happen once then. As for what sort of conditions would warrant the evolution of catpeople, that depends on the existence of normal felines. If cats don't exist then catpeople could evolve from a splinter population of humans under the same evolutionary pressures as normal cats. However, if cats do exist, and there is a large feline apex predator in the same environment as these theoretical catpeople then catpeople could be influenced into existence by attempting to mimic the appearance of aforementioned apex predator. This puts catpeople firmly in the category of mid-level predator. With origins out of the way, we can move on to...
Features
Our focus here is specifically cat features that if added to the normal human body would be redundant or interfere with normal function. If catpeople have cat ears, we must broach the question of whether they have regular human ears as well. If they do not then there is likely a vestigial bump of some sort where the ears once were. If they do then they likely have also developed the ability to triangulate sound similar to what owls do. Having an extra set of ears doesn't seem to have any real downsides so I think the second scenario is more plausible. Next, we can move to the subject of eyes. Cat eyes are vertically slitted to allow them to see in the light and in the dark, but I'm not super sure how easy it is for eyes to change look. Alternatively, catperson eyes could reflect light back and still look normal, but I'm fairly sure that impedes day vision as well, forcing catpeople to rely on hearing during the day. Actually, with the ability to triangulate noises I'm not sure if catpeople would even need a vision change along with it. Anyways the last bit is the tail. Humans can develop tails pretty easily, but we also need a reason for catpeople to have tails. Tails tend to be used for balance, which is especially important if these catpeople live in trees or run faster than humans.
Anyways that's it

Micheal
Hates everyone equally. Trusts no one and believes the only way to avoid suffering is to cut all contacts. Contradictorily... is the one who most seeks and needs love to avoid completely losing faith.
His primary function seems to actually be to balance out Gray and Alex. They seek out people and Micheal prevents them from getting us involved in other people’s dramas
Disturbed - Divide
Shinedown - Call Me
Gray
Hedonism and Want. All that matters is the here and now and sating desire. Food, Sex, Drugs, Games... all of it here and now.
He gives me much of my excitement and happiness. Also the ability to want and crave things comes from him. He helps me find things that make life worth continuing.
Divide the Day - Fuck away the Pain
Sonic Syndicate - Turn It Up
Alyx
Keeper of the Circle. Unlike Micheal, Alyx recognizes that people aren’t meant to survive alone. They decide who can be trusted and who can’t.
I don’t keep many friends and the few I do keep end up under Alyx’s protection. I am highly territorial and protective of those I care about.
Alyx has developed a new... I dunno... maybe call it a mutation? I encountered a really stupid joke that Alyx attached to and grafted onto its personality. It was a checklist saying “Catboy, Catgirl, Nyan-binary”
So ever since Alyx presents themself as a gender neutral neko-ish embodiment. Heavy loose clothing hiding all traces of gender and a pair of cat ears and a tail.
Eleni
Order and Control. Everything and everyone has its place. Liking or disliking someone is besides the point, how can you use them? The one most likely to advocate for better health, both physically an mentally.
Arik
Arik is an eternal child. The last remaining snapshot of little eight year old me before things started breaking and becoming twisted. He is simple pleasures and easy distractions. He is video games, juice, and chicken nuggets. He is pillow forts, sleepovers, and crayons.
Honestly he’s generally easy to please but at the same time he is the fastest to grow bored or to feel neglected so he can be rather needy at times.
Raven
Raven is something that shouldn’t exist. She is an amalgamation of all my pain and suffering. She doesn’t speak. She screams. She twists my emotions and pushes me into dark mindsets. She is eternally suffering unimaginable pain and because of that she wants to inflict that pain on others.
In her most controlled state she simply wants to know what it would feel like to pull a blade over someone’s skin... just enough to see the blood rise to the surface and then maybe lean down and give it a taste.
At her most extreme she wants people at her mercy on operating tables so she can perform surgery with butcher knives and see just how much a person can survive before their body gives in.
While most of the ones in my head get a mental construct involving a leash and how much slack I can afford them... Raven has no leash. Raven is sealed in a box, that box is securely chained shut, then the chained box was buried in concrete, on top of that concrete was built a shed, and that shed is bolted and chained shut with a giant keep out sign on it.

Interface zero
Hey all! So I know I’ve been pretty quiet lately, moving and a few side projects have kept me on my toes, but what free time I have had has been spent with Interface Zero
It’s a Dystopian Cyberpunk game, very similar in tone to Shadowrun, but it’s for Pathfinder!
I’ve known a lot of people who want to get into Shadowrun but can’t really take the time or focus to learn a whole new system, this is your answer. It immediately grabbed my attention and did not let go. And now I have a minute, I wanna share it with you all. But more than just praising something I really like, I want to also hold it up as an example of game design done really well. To that end I'm going to do a few articles talking about different aspects of the book and what they do right and and wrong, what you can learn from them. So I'm going to start by talking about where your readers are going to start looking.
Everyone who I know will, upon getting a new pathfinder book, immediately zero in on the foundations of character building, the Races and the Classes. If you are creating a new setting, or detailing a large sprawling adventure, or exploring a major topic, it's always a good idea to include something eye catching and exciting. Does Interface Zero do this? You bet it does! Let's take a look at the races:
The Races: Android Biodroid Cyborg Human Human 2.0 Hybrid Simulacra
I read that and I was already hooked on the line, I was excited and more importantly, I wanted to know more. Once I did actually read about each of the races I was very pleasantly surprised. Each of these races is really well balanced and incredibly well thought out. In a lot of pathfinder games, Human tends to be the most popular choice, since they're so easy to relate to. And of course they're one of the most mechanically powerful in a normal Pathfinder game. But Interface Zero has made every race not only exciting and relatable, but also has balanced them very well against each other mechanically. My personal favourite is the Human 2.0, which is a genetically engineered “perfect” human. And what I love is that even with a concept like that they found a way to balance it against a regular human in a way that fits their world and keeps the game fair.
Each race has a different sort of vibe or feeling, and allows a player to explore a different side of the world. A vat grown simulacra has a very different view of the world than someone whose wealthy family paid to have them be born a Human 2.0 and they both have a different outlook from someone who is as much machine as human. This is how you introduce races properly, not just for aesthetic and statistical variety, but for giving your players different lenses through which they can view your world. Okay, Races check out. But what about classes? Let's see:
The Classes: Agent Cybermonk Gearhead Gunner Hacker Idol Investigator Medic Sprawler
Alright, this definitely checks out. A whole assortment of immediately evocative ideas and exciting character concepts are available. If your race is the lens you view the world with, then your class is how you affect the world around you. Thematically and statistically your class is possibly even more important than race, and these classes are rock solid. Even the names and roles that we see tell volumes about the world. This list of classes contains hints of government operations, an abundance of violence and harm, criminal activity,  mystery, a thriving entertainment industry, and tells us a lot about the technology available, just from the names of the classes. This is how you tightly pack details of your world into every little nook and cranny.
Just looking at the race and class options alone can already stir up a ton of fantastic thoughts and possibilities. What came to mind right away for me: A simulacra that was genetically engineered to be the perfect cyber-noir detective, now trying to track the case of their own creation. An android medic that feels like a walking talking WebMD, diagnosing cancer and terrible maladies over minor symptoms. A hybrid catgirl/catboi idol taking over the charts with their phenomenal jpop. And a Cyborg Gearhead who interfaces with their sweet motorcycle directly and converses with it like a close friend.
And much like the races a lot of attention has gone into balancing out the classes. Hacker's may be a stand in for wizards but the balance is so much better because of the nature of their hacking and the way the class is designed. A cybermonk is able to eschew many of the weaknesses and flaws of the traditional monk class, and even the Idol is given abilities that allow it to shine, and the game's reduced reliance on direct combat is perfectly highlighted by the class.
If your book or homebrew contains major categories like this, pay a lot of attention to how they're presented, make them easy to find and easy to understand. If you can tell half as much to your reader as Interface Zero than you've started off strong.  Keep a cybereye open on the worldnet for my next article where I'll keep talking about this book, and the pitfalls and benefits of referencing, using and lifting mechanics from core. It'll be more interesting than it sounds really.
