देव��यनी एकादशी के दिन से भगवान जगन्नाथ चार महीने के लिए अपनी निद्रा मे चले जाते हैं। इससे पहले, भगवान जगन्नाथ को अपने मुख्य मंदिर मे लौटना आवश्यक है।

_अतः रथयात्रा के 8वें दिन के बाद, दशमी तिथि पर अपने मुख्य मंदिर लौटने की यात्रा को बहुडा यात्रा के नाम से जाना जाता है। बाहुदा यात्रा के दौरान भगवान जगन्नाथ देवी अर्धासिनी घर में एक छोटा सा पड़ाव रखते हैं। माँ अर्धासिनी के इस मंदिर को मौसी माँ मंदिर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।_

In my seva, Thakorji is travelling along a tree lined avenue on a well caparisoned elephant, returning to a flower laden Maha-Dwara, main gate of his temple in Puri.
