Later he got his daughter admitted to the Hospital, and the sale of other household utensils paid for rest of her treatment.

 Henceforth his financial condition rapidly improved. From 1969 to May 1986 he kept entertaining Military Engineering Services contracts. In 1996, he entered in a joint venture with the Bahria Foundation of Pakistan Navy and together launched the Bahria Town. Later Pakistan Navy was separated from the project & Malik Riaz Hussain took on the project himself.
