Absolutely, let's do that.

Minor Injuries.

Be it something as small as a scrape on your knee, or a graze on your arm, Cheong-Sin spends precious time patching you up.

He'll clean each wound meticulously, giving you small kisses to try and distract you from the pain from the rubbing alcohol.

Finally, before putting plasters or any sort of covering, he'll kiss each wound, and even with no proper evidence, you both swore that it made them heal faster.

Major Injuries.

Let's be honest here. Cheong-Sin doesn't let you get badly hurt.

When you go out, he's with you.

When you're at home, he's with you.

When you're out with friends, he may not be directly by your side, but he'll be in the area.

However, with the Counters after him now, he had to spend more and more time away, leaving you vulnerable to whatever society had to throw at you. He couldn't even use a proper phone, lest it get tracked and traced back to you.

You, on the other hand, didn't know what was happening to him. He'd be with you for a few days, then disappear for a week, with barely any notice. You couldn't even call to ask where he went, due to the dangerous nature of his job. But sometimes he'd call you with a burner phone, just to check on you.

(You don't know what he actually does, but he's told you he's an agent of some sort, which excuses these absences.)

So, on one of the days he isn't in, you go out to buy groceries. It's weird not having him with you. It feels like you're missing something. Not as large as an arm, nor as painful as a heart. Just a presence. A sense of safety.

But it was fine, right? You'd been okay without him before, you'd be alright now.

You stepped out of your apartment building into the not-so-busy streets of Jungjin. The occasional car streamed down the road. The sky was a pale grey, the sun a light spot against the cloud cover. Not much was going on today. Oh well.

You turned the corner onto the street that led to the grocery store, making sure to step over the ground tile that stuck slightly up as you removed your earphones from your pocket.

The tunes swirled around in your mind as you turned up the volume, blocking out the boring environment, blocking out practically anything that could be heard. Which was technically unsafe, but this was a relatively safe city. The street was also empty, except for a few people in cafés, so you'd be fine.

You started to recount your grocery list in your head.

"Milk, eggs, ramyeon, [favourite food], carrots, bread, cere—"

*SCREECH*

A sharp pain, a sensation of flying, and the world went dark.

It was a shame you couldn't hear what was going on around you, or you would have heard a faint rumbling behind you, and might have been able to jump out of the way of the car that had sped onto the pavement.

Your unconscious body was sprawled out on the ground, head and nose bleeding.

The people in the cafés began to pour out, having seen the car through the glass. Several people called 112, others called 119.

Coincidentally, your phone began to ring. Unknown Number.

In a hotel on the far side of Jungjin, Ji Cheong-Sin typed your number into his burner phone.

"Who you calling?" asked a voice from across the room. He looked up to see Hyang-hui standing there, smiling as always.

"None of your business." he replied, letting the phone ring.

"Aw, who is it? Come on, tell me!"

"I said, it's none of your business."

"Damn, why so cagey? Don't tell me you've got a secret girlfriend or something?"

He put his hand on the bed, as to stand up.

"Damn, ok! I'll leave you alone then!" she said, slipping out of the door.

He sighed and sat back down. You weren't picking up the phone. That was very strange.

Normally you either picked up, or messaged saying you were at work, but no response at all? That was odd.

He called again.

As you were carried into the ambulance, your eyes began to crack open.

You raised your hand to your face, shielding your eyes from the light. Murmurs surrounded you. A face entered your frame of view.

"She's awake." it said, standing up.

A collective sigh of relief filled the vehicle.

"Ma'am, do you feel pain anywhere?" asked another one.

"Mhh...what?"

Then the pain did kick in. Your arm shot to your knee, it felt like you'd, well, you didn't know what it felt like, but it hurt.

The care assistants took a quick glance, and it was quite clear to see. Your kneecap was deformed. Fractured.

"Kiyo, I need a splint, Hyun-dae, tell the hospital about the patient." said one of the people.

"Gotcha Jae-dal." replied another.

Cheong-sin was getting worried now. Normally you'd have sent him a message or something, but you just hadn't responded at all.

"Cheong-sin? Is your secret girlfriend not replying?" called Hyang-hui from outside the door. Her footsteps retreated into the other room as Cheong-sin got up. He threw the door open but instead of confronting her, he approached the door out their hotel suite.

"Where are you going?"

"Out."

"You know the Counters are looking for you, right?"

"Don't care. I'll be back in a few hours."

"Hours?! Where are y—"

Cheong-sin closed the door.

After hailing a taxi, and paying the driver to go faster than was safe, he got off in front of your apartment building. He ran up the stairs, and hastily unlocked the door with the key you had given him.

Empty.

Now he was really worried. Not picking calls, not in your apartment, where would you be? Was he being obsessive? No, he wasn't.

*buzz* *buzz*

He yanked his phone from his pocket, to see two nerve-clenching messages.

"am in the hopsital"

"*hospital"

He could not have run faster.

You lay in your hospital bed after seeing the 4 missed calls from an unknown number. Cheong-sin was definitely worried about you. Well, you were worried about him too, you didn't want him to get hurt in his job as some sort of secret agent.

"Can I go to the place where you go home? My boyfriend's gonna be worried."

"Well we should keep you here for a bit, just to make sure your condition is stable."

"Well, I feel fine. My leg and hand hurt, but we established that in the ambulance. Can I go?" you asked.

"We don't advise it."

"I'll be fine. Is there like a form or something I can sign so I can leave?"

"Alright then. Yes, there is."

After signing, you were provided a pair of crutches, and assisted to the exit.

The next few seconds felt like a lifetime for Cheong-sin. As you came into frame, knee in a cast, and crutches under your shoulders, his heart sank. He rushed forward, eyes almost glassy.

"This is what happens when you form human connections, they're weak. They get hurt. Why not just kill her and save yourself the pain?", whispered the spirit, but Cheong-sin paid no notice. That was the furthest thing from his mind right now.

He pulled you close, burying his head into your shoulder, lifting you off the ground slightly.

You wrapped a feeble arm around him, smiling.

"I'm so, so sorry. If only I had been there I could've—"

"Quiet, aegiya." you said, pressing a hand to his mouth. "If you'd been there, you'd only have gotten hurt yourself."

"But I wouldn't have been." he started, pulling your hand away. "I could have got you out of the way, or stopped the car, or— I'm so sorry." he replied, squeezing your hand tightly.

Cheong-sin carried you in his arms all the way home. No matter how much you said you could walk, he refused to let you. You'd already been hurt enough.

He wouldn't be returning to the hotel tonight. Hyang-hui could wait.

Recovery.

Cheong-sin would try his best to be around for your recovery, but obviously he couldn't, but every chance he got he'd stay by your side, get you food, water, things to do, check on your situation, by phone if he couldn't be there in person. You wouldn't be able to worsen the injury even if you tried, despite what the hospital said. Your leg was immobilised, as was your [non-dominant] hand, so nothing could really happen to you.

The driver who had crashed into you was drunk, and was taken to the police station once the police were called. An accident took place that night.

A drunk driver was broken out of a holding cell in Jungjin police station. There were signs of a struggle, but there was no security footage for about 3 minutes in that police station. Once it came back, both drunk driver and the person who broke him out were gone.

Some people reported hearing screams late in the night, but when the area was examined, nothing was found.

No police officers had any record of this happening.

And Cheong-sin got home slightly later that night, with scarlet eyes.

Wonder if anyone else caught that before... when Baek Hyang-hee said to Shin Myeong-whi (who was now possessed by the same evil spirit as Ji Cheong-sin had been)

"I thought you at least cared about children."

It was never the evil spirit that spared children, that was the host Cheong-sin who cared about kids, who didn't want them to be afraid and live without being used by the adult that was supposed to care for them. He even killed and consumed one of their own to protect them.

Myeong-whi on the other hand doesn't care about children. Hell, he doesn't even care about his own flesh and blood, Hyeok-u, why would he care about the well-being of a dying little girl (So-eun)?

I think it's interesting to see how the host can still influence the evil spirit. That they technically never had to be evil, but chose to be.

It's a great and subtle way to prequel the story in the second season with Ma Ju-seok who is mostly in control, until he isn't.

A Gay Girl's Guide to Korean Musicals (with English subtitles!)

People often associate musicals with male gayness (both onstage and off) but there's stuff out there for female-oriented queers too! It's just harder to find, which is why I put this video together despite not knowing Korean.

This list isn't comprehensive and I deliberately chose musicals with either queer female characters or gender-free casting (i.e. female actors playing male roles), except for Bernarda Alba, which is special as it’s by far the largest-scale all-female production with 10 characters. Obviously there are many Korean musicals out there which don't meet these criteria and are still of interest to the queers, but I wanted to highlight these in particular as they are, apart from Rebecca, not as well-known. I highly recommend checking out @koreanmusicals for more information on Korean musicals generally!

About Joseon!Demon Slayer AU

The setting of this Demon Slayer AU is in Joseon Dynasty, Korean dynastic kingdom that lasted for over five centuries. It was the last dynastic kingdom of Korea. Founded by Yi Seong-gye in July 1392, and replaced by the Korean Empire in October 1897. So in this AU, it is around mid 1400s of Joseon Dynasty (15th Century). And yes, ALL characters’ name will be in Korean. Because of its society and diffrences from original, there are couple of characters gender-bent and some Headcanons involved. And maybe few OCs.

The highly buzzed about series The School Nurse Files is finally here! The School Nurse Files centers on high school nurse Ahn Eun-young (Jung Yu-mi) who works with Classical Chinese teacher Hong In-pyo (Nam Joo-hyuk) to protect students. High school dramas have a special appeal that attracts a variety of different people.

From coming-of-age stories to youthful romance, there’s something relatable for everyone. Signature scenes and locations add to the familiar charm. We love the memories from high school as we adults would like to escape to simpler times. Check out some quintessential high school k-drama scenes and locations here:

The Classroom

High school dramas involve students so, of course, they need to spend some time in the classroom. But did you notice that there is a specific part of the classroom K-drama students tend to sit in? They tend to sit near the back and often close by the window just like Oh Ji-soo (Kim Dong-hee) in Extracurricular and Hyun Tae-woon (Kim Jung-hyun) in School 2017.

New Student Introduction

In Korea, new students introduce themselves in front of the classroom on their first day. It’s especially nerve wracking for Jo Kang-ja (Kim Hee-seon) because she’s pretending to be a high school student in order to find the bully who tormented her daughter in Angry Mom. Having a new student definitely shakes things up and makes it interesting. Choi Joon-woo (Ong Seong-wu) is a lonely transfer student in Moment of Eighteen.

School Infirmary

Is it just me or do K-drama characters get hurt and sick more often than us? Whatever the case, there’s plenty of scenes at the school infirmary. The School Nurse Files centers on school nurse Ahn Eun-young (Jung Yu-mi), so there’s plenty of fun scenes where she works. Kim Jo-jo (Kim So-hyun) and Lee Hye-yeong (Jung Ga-ram) also have a secret infirmary encounter in Love Alarm S1.

Locker Scenes

You use lockers to store books and belongings, but they’re also a popular place to chat and gaze longingly at the object of your affection. Ha-ru (Rowoon) gives a swoon-worthy look here in Extraordinary You while Cho Sang-hoon (Kim Do-wan) shows angsty vibes in front of his locker in Moment of Eighteen.

Water Fountain

School water fountains are frequently found in high school dramas. You can drink water, wash your hands, clean stuff, and peek at cute students there. Hyun Tae-woon (Kim Jung-hyun) and Ra Eun-ho (Kim Se-jeong) have a sweet water fountain encounter in School 2017. Ha-ru (Rowoon) and Eun Dan-oh (Kim Hye-yoon) also look cute beside a water fountain in Extraordinary You.

School Rooftop

K-dramas certainly love their share of rooftop scenes. While rooftop access might become more restricted these days, there are plenty of locations where students try to have a space of their own. Student X is overlooking the view from the rooftop in School 2017. Park Sun-ho (Nam Da-reum) and Oh Joon-seok (Seo Dong-hyun) have a dangerous argument on the rooftop in Beautiful World.

Library

A part of being a student naturally requires spending some time studying. What better place to study than the library? The library is an important place where Eun Dan-oh (Kim Hye-yoon) discovers the truth about her identity in Extraordinary You. Choi Joon-woo (Ong Seong-wu) focuses on studying in the library as well in Moment of Eighteen.

Extracurricular Activities

Well-rounded students take on extracurricular activities outside of studying. You can’t help but swoon when you see good-looking characters excel at a variety of skills. Lee Do-hwa (Jung Gun-joo) looks super handsome while playing the violin in Extraordinary You. Han Yi-han (Nam Joo-hyuk) is a star swimmer in Who Are You: School 2015.

Physical Education

Physical Education, also known as P.E., is a mandatory part of school so it’s no surprise that it appears in high school dramas as well. To amp up the drama, special sports events are often used in scenes. We see this on the field of Moment of Eighteen. Baek Kyung (Lee Jae-wook) and Eun Dan-oh (Kim Hye-yoon) participate in a three-legged race in Extraordinary You. It’s a nice change from their everyday school uniforms.

Dressing Casual

Speaking of not wearing school uniforms, there are always scenes where we can see students dressed casually outside of school. Sometimes it leads to romantic scenes in an almond farm like in Inheritors or down-to-earth fun with friends in Reply 1988.

Dressing Up

Other times, we can see characters dressed up for fancier occasions. This usually results in someone being stunned by the beautiful transformation and they end up seeing the other person in a different way. In Extracurricular, Oh Ji-soo (Kim Dong-hee) is blown away by Bae Gyu-ri (Park Ju-hyun) who is dolled up. Oh Nam-joo (Kim Young-dae) puts on a spiffy bowtie in Extraordinary You.

Cafeteria

You have to eat to fuel your brain and body for the school day, so there are plenty of cafeteria and lunch scenes in high school dramas. It’s always fun viewing appetizing meals that sometimes look better than our own lunches. Choi Joon-woo (Ong Seong-wu) eats a typical high school lunch in Moment of Eighteen. On the other hand, Eun Dan-oh (Kim Hye-yoon) and Ha-ru (Rowoon) enjoy a fancier lunch at their school in Extraordinary You.

Convenience Store

Students typically don’t have a ton of cash, so they���ll opt for cheap and tasty eats at convenience stores when eating outside of school. Yoo Soo-bin (Kim Hyang-gi) sits inside a one in Moment of Eighteen. You can also see high school students working at convenience stores like Han Dong-soo (Seo Young-joo) in Beautiful World.

Bicycles

High school students in Korea usually aren’t old enough to drive cars, so they’ll ride bikes or motorcycles instead. Kim Jo-jo (Kim So-hyun) and Lee Hye-yeong (Jung Ga-ram) have a sweet bicycle ride in the snow in Love Alarm S1. Choi Joon-woo (Ong Seong-qu) uses his bike for transportation in Moment of Eighteen.

Buses and Bus Stops

Not all students own and ride bikes, so buses are another common form of transportation for high school students. Being in close proximity with your crush can easily lead to heart-fluttering moments. Kim So-hyun shares a gentle moment with Nam Joo-hyuk on a bus in Who Are You: School 2015. She also stands with Song Kang at a bus stop while it’s raining in Love Alarm S1.

The Age of Shadows is a handsomely mounted, lightly melodramatic South Korean period spy thriller, punctuated by superbly staged action set pieces. The Age of Shadows also has a chunky runtime, and is thus able to play the long game; its initial sparkily lightweight approach shifts around the midpoint into a murkier, weightier tone, building towards an emotionally rewarding finale. It’s good watching, is what I’m getting at. But you have to stick with it to get the full effect. The Age of Shadows manages to be both entertaining and also be about the upsetting business of terrorism, while successfully evading the bear trap of tastelessness. I say “terrorism” but it should always be acknowledged that the name for people using violence for political ends always depends which side you’re on; for a South Korean audience these terrorists would be Freedom Fighters.

The Age of Shadows is set in Korea in the 1920s when it laboured under Japanese colonial rule (1910 – 1945). Over here in the UK there is a howling void in the heads of the hoi polloi like I, where the history of the East should be; we spend hours being taught about The Corn Laws but we only find out that Korea was once under Japanese rule by watching The Tiger (2015; awesome, watch it) or The Age of Shadows. Or it might just be me who is an idiot; either way don’t knock the educational content of movies about giant tigers or people in sharp threads planning to bomb an embassy. Anyway, after a few seconds research it looks like Japan, successfully eschewing military confrontation, slowly eroded Korea’s independence with some underhand shenanigans and a bunch of treaties from 1876 onward, tying the two closer and closer together, culminating in the Japan-Korea Treaty of 1910. This completed the annexation of Korea by Japan. Why would Korea sign such a thing, you may be understandably wondering. The ridiculous answer is they, or the then Korean regent Gojong, didn’t. Japan annexed Korea anyway. South Koreans have since dubbed this the Japanese Forced Occupation and The Dark Japanese Imperial Period. Korea was well miffed is the message I’m getting here. Hence the freedom fighters.

Since The Age of Shadows is a South Korean movie it is understandably very much not on the side of the Japanese overseers. It is very much on the side of the Korean freedom fighters, who are all plucky, photogenic and brave. You could easily come away from The Age of Shadows believing that they are so awesome that, like The Punisher©®™, no innocents ever get caught in their bomb blasts or crossfire. It’s a measure of the movie’s subtlety that this isn’t true. It wants you to root for the freedom fighters so it does somewhat soft soap the collateral cost; but it can’t bring itself to lie, the bodies of the innocent are there if you watch closely. Innocent isn’t a term the movie extends to the Japanese, who are the bad guys here (and to be honest, Japan of the 1920’s, I’m thinking Korea has a point here).

Surprisingly for an occupying force the Japanese are few in number. They seem to be operating on the Roman Empire model - where you go in, take a place over, and use the locals to police themselves; with the subjugating force occupying the upper echelons and running the martial apparatus. It’s a good model; you can cover a lot of ground with limited resources. But because you are outnumbered on the ground, you have to brutally dissuade any insurgents. Brutally, I stress. Hence all the Japanese characters are nasty pieces of work. There is a range of evil on offer though; the cartoony psychosis of number one goon Hashimoto (Uhm Tae-goo; cartoony, psychotic, good fun) or the quietly vile police chief Higashi (Shingo Tsurumi; supremely reptilian). Now, I wouldn’t take this as an indictment of the Japanese race as a whole, it’s more a reflection of the kinds of people who gravitate to the suppressive end of the police state. Basically, if they weren’t in uniform they’d be in prison. Every country has a rich crop of these sweethearts, not just Japan.

That’s the backdrop against which the epic sweep of The Age of Shadows unfolds. It is a big movie; Korea vs Japan! Freedom versus vassalage! Authenticity vs Inauthenticity! Love vs Duty! But it is also simultaneously a small movie; it’s all about Lee Jung-chool (Song Kang-ho; fantastically sympathetic), a Korean and also a cop working under the Japanese. It’s about how he grows some self-respect, I guess. How he learns that everyone picks a side, even if they don’t realise it; so it’s best to make it a conscious decision. The Age of Shadows opens with a crucial confrontation between Lee Jung-chool and Kim Jang-ok (Park Hee-soon; athletically defiant), a resistance fighter and ex-classmate of lee Jung-chool. This is a  ferociously entertaining thrill of a night-time firefight with much rooftop running, and even a nifty bit of business with a severed toe; the kind of tossed off quirk Korean cinema does so well. Something is stirred within the laissez-faire breast of Lee Jung-chool, something which is positively agitated by his investigation into antique shop owner Kim Woo-jin (Gong Yoo; disarmingly pleasant), and a plot involving the transport of explosives by train. Kim-Woo Jin attempts to turn the copper, while Lee Jung Chool seeks to infiltrate the ambitious cell before their plans bear explosive fruit. But who is fooling who, and, ultimately, is someone fooling themselves?

What follows is a cloak and dagger game of cat and mouse which reaches a climax mid-movie, with a tense and expertly staged train journey/traitor hunt with a hectically violent conclusion. After that the games being played extend beyond the cast to envelop the audience as the The Age of Shadows keeps its cards close to its chest, dealing out revelations at a steady pace throughout this darker, harder half of the movie. It’s discreetly smart film making, so high fives and bear hugs to Kim Jee-woon. But I think most credit is due for segueing so smoothly from the initial Boy’s Own escapades to the quite harrowing consequences of defiance. The Age of Shadows pulls its punches, no doubt, but it still admits the ugly cost of defiance to a quite remarkably unpleasant extent. Ultimately The Age of Shadows is a beautiful, finely acted, whip-smart movie which secretes within its enthralling entertainment a soupçon of brutal truth.

Tür: Dönemsel ve dram türlerinde olan dizi Age of Feeling çizgi romanından uyarlanmadır.

Konusu: 1930’larda Çin’in Şangay şehrinde geçen ve Şangay’daki Koreli gençlerin vatanseverliklerini, ailelerine olan bağlılıklarını anlatan bir konusu var. Tarih ve çizgi roman uyarlamaları sevenler için iyi bir Kore dizisi diyebilirim.

13-Boys Over Flowers

2009 yapımı dizi 25 bölümden oluşmaktadır. TRT Okul kanalında Yaban Çiçeği adıyla yayınlanmıştır. Ayrıca tüm bölümleri Netflix’ten de izleyebileceğiniz Kore dizileri arasındadır.

Tür: Romanti komedi ve dram türünde olan bir diğer Kore dizisidir.

Konusu: Fakir bir ailenin kızı olan ve lokantada çalışan Geum Jan Di’nin Güney Kore’nin en bilinen özel okullarından birine girmesiyle hikaye başlar. Okuldaki F4 olarak bilinen grupla yaşadığı olayları konu alan dizinin Türkiye’deki uyarlaması “Güneşi Beklerken” dizisidir.

14-Guardian: The Lonely and Great God

2016’da başlayan ve gündeme bomba gibi düşen 16 bölümü bulunan en iyi Kore dizileri arasında gösterilen dizidir. Ayrıca dizinin adı “Goblin” olarak da karşınıza çıkabilir.

Tür: Fantastik ve dram dizileri arasındadır.

Konusu: Dizi çok eski tarihlerden giriş sahnesiyle başlıyor. Burada kralla görüşmek isteyen Kim Shin öldürülerek Goblin’e dönüşüyor ve ölümsüz oluyor. Seneler süren ölümsüzlük sıkıcı olmaya başlıyor ve artık bir işkenceye dönüyor. Ölümsüzlükten kurtulmak için ise bir Goblin gelinine ihtiyacı vardır ve devamını diziyi izleyerek öğrenmenizi tavsiye ederim…

15-The Heirs

Mirasçılar olarak da bilinen dizi 2013 yılında 20 bölüm olarak yayınlanmıştır. Yine Netflix’te bulabileceğiniz Kore dizileri arasındadır.

Tür: Dram ve romantik türlerinde konusu olan dizi gençlik türünde de gösterilebilir.

Konusu: Aslında klasik zengin-fakir çatışması diyebilirim hatta bir zengin-fakir aşk hikayesi de olmazsa olmazlardan. Bu tür dizileri sevenler tarafından The Heirs sevilen bir Kore dizisi, bu yüzden eğer izlemekten keyif aldığınız bir konuysa tavsiye ederim.

16-Saimdang, Lights Diary

2017 yılında 28 bölüm olarak yayınlanmış tarihi ve Netflix’te bulabileceğiniz bir başka Kore dizisidir.

Tür: Tarih, gizem ve fantastik ögeler barındıran ve izlemeniz gereken en iyi Kore dizilerindendir.

Konusu: Sanat tarihi öğretim üyesi olan See Ji-yoon, tarihsel bir figür olarak bilinen Shin Saimdang’ın günlüğünü bulur ve bu günlüğün gizemini çözmeye çalışır.

Oyuncuları: Lee Young-ae, Song Seung-heon, Yang Se-jong, Jong-hwan Choi, Oh Yoon-ah.

17-Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People

2017’de yayınlanan 30 bölümden oluşan tarihi Kore dizileri arasındaki bir diğer dizi.

Tür: Tarihi, fantastik ve melodram türleri barındıran bir dizi. Bu türleri seviyorsanız mutlaka izlemelisiniz.

Konusu: Dönemin gaddar kralı Yeonsangun’a karşı Hong Gil Dong ve arkadaşlarının ayaklanmasını anlatıyor. Bu tarzı sevenlerin 30 bölümü bir çırpıda izleyeceklerinden şüphem yok ayrıca dizinin müzikleri de efsane.

Konusu: Yeni çalışmaya başladığı şirketin yöneticisini araştıran ve gerçekten kim olduğunu öğrenmeye çalışan karakterimizin başına gelen olayları izlediğimiz bu Kore dizisi sevilen Kore dizilerindendir.

19-Oh My Ghostess

Tür: Dizide romantik komedi, dram ve gerilim türlerinde konular işleniyor. Hatta fantastik bile diyebiliriz.

Konusu: Başrol karakterimiz kendine güveni ve arkadaşı olmayan bir karakterdir. Şaman bir soydan geldiği için hayaletleri görebiliyordur ve bir gün hayalet karakterimiz başrolümüzün bedenini ele geçirir ve başrol karakterimiz işteki yöneticisinin dikkatini çeker…

Tür: Dram ve romantik konuların işlendiği film Kill me Heal me gibi medikal dram türünde denilebilir.

Konusu: Bir tıp öğrencisi ve beslenme uzmanı arasında geçen aşkı anlatan dizi tıp doktoru olan karakterimizin tüm ailesi doktor olduğundan bu evliliğe izin vermez ve olaylar gelişir… Medikal dram türünde olması romantik bir hikayesi olan dizide tıp temasının da önemli yeri olduğundandır.

21-Sungkyunkwan Scandal

En iyi Kore dizileri listemizdeki bir başka “kdrama” dizisidir.

2010 yılında 20 bölüm halinde yayınlanmıştır.

Tür: Romantik komedi, dram ve tarih türlerine uygun konusu olan bir Kore dizisi.

Konusu: Dizi Joseon Hanedanlığı döneminde geçmektedir. Ancak tarihi çok fazla öge bulamayabilirsiniz, bu yüzden tarihi dönem dizileri sevmeyenlerin de izleyebileceği türden bir dizi. Başrolümüz babası ölmüş ve hasta erkek kardeşi ile annesi bakması gereken bir kadın karakterdir. Okuyup meslek sahibi olma hayali kuran çalışkan başrolümüzün dönemin de maalesef kadınlar Güney Kore’de üniversiteye gidememektedir. Evet, tahmin ettiğiniz üzere erkek kılığına girer ve olaylar gelişir…

Tür: Gençlik dizileri türünde olan dizi konu bakımından romantik komedi dizilerinden bir diğeridir.

Konusu: Sakar ve beceriksiz başrol lise öğrencisi kızımız alt sınıflardaki hem popüler hem çok zeki erkek öğrencimize ilk görüşte aşık olmuştur. Bir gün açılmak ister ve mektup gönderir ancak bu çok zeki erkek başrolümüz kızın yazım hatalarını bulup teklifi reddeder. Devamını izlemelisiniz artık 🙂 .

Konusu: Bir mimar, bir beyzbol hakemi ve bir lise öğretmeni arasındaki ilişkileri anlatan ve izleyenlerden çok iyi tepki almak eğlenceli bir dizidir. Eğlenmek için izlemeniz gereken Kore dizileri arasında ilk sıraya koyabilirsiniz.

Netflix’te bulabileceğiniz 2013 yapımı 18 bölümden oluşan bir başka Kore dizisidir.

Tür: Konu açısında daha çok dram ve gerilim türündedir ancak romantik komedi esintileri olmazsa olmaz olduğundan biraz da romantik komedi türündedir diyebilirim.

Konusu: Küçük yaşlarda babasıyla yolculuk ederken bir kamyonun çarpması sonucunda babasını kaybeden ve sonrasında bu olaya bağlı olarak yaşadığı olaylar anlatılır.

Oyuncuları: Lee Jong-suk, Lee Bo-young, Yoon Sang-hyun, Lee Da-hee, Jung Woong-in.

25-Faith

Faith, 2012’de 24 bölüm halinde yayınlanmış en iyi kdrama dizilerindendir.

Tür: Fantastik, tarihi ve dram türlerindeki izlenmesi gereken Kore dizilerindedir.

Konusu: Goryeo döneminden bir savaşçı ile günümüzden o döneme zaman yolculuğu yapmış kadın doktor arasındaki aşk anlatılıyor.

Özellikle kdrama ve tarihi dizi sevenlerin mutlaka incelemesi gereken dizilerdendir.

Konusu: Suç psikolojisi üzerine eğitim almış bir adam ile Polis teşkilatının özel biriminde yer alan kadının ilişkisi anlatılıyor.

27-Taewang Sasingi (The Legend)

2007 yapımı 24 bölümden oluşan en beğenilen Kore dizileri arasındadır.

Tür: Konusu bakımından eski bir efsaneye dayandığından tarihi ve fantastik türdedir diyebiliriz.

Konusu: Efsaneye göre iki aile arasındaki savaşa dayanamayan Hwang-woong (tanrısal kral) dünyaya iner ve barışı sağlamak ister. Tabi aşık olmadan olur mu? Aşık olur ve bir de çocuğu olur ve olaylar çok acayip bir hal alır… Bence kesinlikle izlemeniz gereken süper bir Güney Kore dizisi.

2011 yapımı 20 bölümden oluşan, SBS Drama ödüllü, izlemeniz gereken en iyi Kore dizileri listenizde olması gereken bir dizi.

Tür: Dram ve aksiyon türündeki başarılı dizilerdendir. Ayrıca dizi Japon manga uyarlamasıdır.

Konusu: Bebekken ölen babasının arkadaşı tarafından kaçırılıp babasıyla beraber ölen diğer askerlerin intikamını almak için eğitilen başrolümüz, yıllar sonra intikam planı için döndüğünde aşık olmaması gerekirken bir kıza kıza aşık olmuştur…

Sinopsis Drama Korea When I Was Most Beautiful

Oh Ye Ji (Im Soo Hyang) adalah seorang seniman keramik. Dia memiliki hati yang tulus dan optimisme tanpa henti dan menolak untuk menyerah terlepas dari situasinya. Dia bermimpi menemukan kebahagiaan biasa tetapi pada kehidupannya takdir tidak bisa ditebak ketika ia jatuh cinta dan terjadi cinta setiga dengan dua saudara lelaki, Seo Hwan (Ji Soo) dan Seo Jin (Ha Suk Jin).

Seo Hwan, seorang desainer arsitektur, adalah seorang pemuda lugu yang jatuh cinta dengan Oh Ye Ji pada pandangan pertama. Perasaannya membuatnya berselisih dengan kakaknya yaitu Seo Jin, tapi dia tidak bisa melepaskan cinta pertamanya.

Lần đọc kịch bản đầu tiên của Mom Moments of 18 đỉnh (tên tác phẩm) tràn đầy năng lượng trẻ trung từ dàn diễn viên sôi động.

Khoảnh khắc của 18 tuổi nhìn vào cuộc sống của những thanh niên thiếu kinh nghiệm. Ở độ tuổi bấp bênh khi những điều nhỏ nhặt nhất có thể cuốn bạn vào một cơn lốc vấn đề, cuộc sống của những cô gái 18 tuổi này cho thấy những khoảnh khắc trôi qua có thể để lại những ấn tượng sâu sắc, thực sự.

Đạo diễn Shim Na Yeon và nhà văn Yoon Kyung Ah đã có mặt tại buổi đọc kịch bản, cũng như các diễn viên Ong Seong Wu, Kim Hyang Gi, Shin Seung Ho, Kang Ki Young, Shim Yi Young, Kim Sun Young, Park Sung Geun, Heo Young Ji, Moonbin của ASTRO, và nhiều hơn nữa.

Trước khi đọc kịch bản, đạo diễn chia sẻ, tôi chân thành cảm ơn bạn đã làm điều này với chúng tôi. Tôi sẽ làm hết sức mình để tạo ra một bộ phim hay. Nhà văn nhận xét, Cất nó có một vinh dự được làm việc với đạo diễn Shim Na Yeon, người mà tôi tin tưởng, và những diễn viên tuyệt vời như vậy.
