I am sending you this in case you missed it <3 cause it cheered me up immensely and it was just posted an hour ago and story will probably run out in apple...it gave me some hope whatever HOPE THERE IS :P

Thank you for this! I hadn't seen it before. <3 I think it's definitely important to keep in mind they are still promoting Bradley and Cory, even after today's episode. There's still A LOT more to come and the next episodes will be filled with emotion (the last three at least, since ep 7 will be about you-know-who). It's also good to see Reese, for once, acknowledging the sparks between them, because she hasn't said much about their relationship. And again, since it was after today's episode, it will probably come into play in the rest of the season.

I have no idea how everything is going to end, but knowing that we are getting more scenes, that their relationship will continue to be developed, I think we shouldn't lose hope of a satisfying ending.

I'm glad you liked it! Even it hurts, lol. Fair warning, I believe all my gifsets for this episode will be full of pain. I'm just not over it. Their confrontation was too much. I can't wait for Bradley to find out he was doing it all for her, man, that's gonna sting after everything she threw at his face.

Also, I feel like there's still a lot to be explained between how we left their relationship in season one and how season two started. I know, they are busy, don't have the time to see each other, but... Bradley keeps throwing in Cory's face that she got his job, something that makes me curious about HOW it happened, but that I also find very unlike her. After all, if it wasn't for Cory, she wouldn't even have this job in the first pace. It seems unlike her to forget all that he did for her in the first season. Though I do wonder if maybe doing the things UBA wants (dying her hair, doing tiktok dances) wasn't part of the deal, so she resents that she got his job back but he is still keeping her in the dark...? Maybe the first time she mentions it during their conversation in his office isn't only to say that he owes her for it, but that she is on his side and yet she can feel he is keeping things from her. Anyways, I'm so full of theories rn. I can't believe we have to wait another week for the next episode!!

i think 3 was my favorite so far too, until 4 and then that one was! it feels really clear that they have a deliberate story they want to tell, and that’s one of the things i like about shows now that are potentially shorter seasons/runs--you get the sense that instead of approaching it like ‘we are here to entertain you for as long as we can hold your interest’ they instead start with ‘we have come to say THIS and we will be saying THIS until we are done or until they shut us down’

and maybe that’s always been how some shows are, but i notice the difference more now, because i love entertaining television AND i love intense television and lots of shows have a message while they entertain and others entertain while they have a message but with the morning show it feels inescapable to me that the whole reason it exists is to address specific issues.

and to do so in a way that made sure women were not just prominent in the cast but also in producing, writing and directing. OLDER women! women with experience and talent and it bleeds through the whole project.

bc i read journalists like jodi kantor and ronan farrow pretty obsessively i’m familiar with a lot of what the show decides to nod to nonverbally and the story itself is not tidy, it allows the narrative to be messy and creepy and painful--but it will always be cathartic for me to see female characters allowed to have rage and ambition and to see them work with each other where they also compete.

okay i’m done lol. tl;dr the morning show feels so carefully crafted that i’m really enjoying watching it play out because a lot of television has a breathless feeling of just trying to survive cancellation and this one instead knows what it wants

1. Ghosts (BBC) - I adore it! Love the Horrible Histories team, they’re hilarious, so I devoured their new adult series. It’s amazing.

2. IT Crowd - it’s an old favourite of mine and never fails to cheer me up.

3. One Tree Hill - another old favourite of mine. Me and my best mate watched it all the time and revisit it quite often.

4. Taskmaster - comedians and the like doing silly things in a competition to win a trophy in the shape of Greg Davies’ head, what’s not to like? It’s amazing, makes me happy.

5. Would I Lie to You? - Lee, David and Rob make me laugh so much, I love the whole premise of the show.

hi! <33 tbh there are not that many of us here, the fandom is super tiny, some of my mutuals have watched the show but i wouldn't call them tms blogs, they're more multifandom, similar to mine. when it comes to creating content, i know this blog posts a lot of tms gifs @filmtribv. and these are some of my beloved moots who have seen the show @miroslavkloses @madeline-kahn @ewanmcgregors @bladesrunner @chiara-mastroianni @isoldewas @jessie-meili. and @badasswomengivemelife of course, but i mentioned her already in my previous ask <3 needless to say, you can count on me, once season 2 is out i'll be making more tms content for sure

I've wanted to post this before, for reasons (x) I couldn't. But that does not mean that I do not think it is no longer important.

Can someone explain why in episode 9, Alex is determined to leave The morning show and tells Cory: "Coming back here was a mistake, now I can see it clearly.

And that in the final episode, she accepts what Chip proposes when doing a program about her illness?

Bearing in mind that Chip tells Cory before and he hesitates to accept and they don't discuss the fact that he knows Alex (on March 16) is leaving, so why do a show if he's 5 days away? With Alex's cancellation, only her departure was anticipated. I understand that Chip does not know that Alex had already decided to leave, but Cory does not tell him anything about that.

And when Chip explains to Alex about the new program, he is not surprised that the channel insists even though she made it clear that she wanted to leave and why they want a person canceled by people to have a show?

Well maybe she asks him a little here...

But mostly because she asks if they fired her if she was already leaving.

And that decision is not something minor. Why change your mind? because this show does not try to justify that change, it left me somewhat uneasy.
