Sehun x reader

Request- Hi! Could you do a mafia au scenario with Sehun where him and his s/o are both in the mafia and she is a tough badass who can take care of herself, but when she goes on a mission something goes horribly wrong and he loses contact with her, and when he goes out looking for her he finds her in an alley severely injured and near death. And make it angsty with some fluff please. Sorry if its a lot. Thank you :)

“This is a one man job.” Sehun whispered as he leaned back in his chair.

“Then let me do it. I am more then capable! You’ve seen me do my part in this business. I happen to think I am pretty good.” You offered which earned a disapproving face from Sehun.

“I know. But I just can’t. It’ll be your first solo mission in weeks. And this one seems dangerous.”

“Yeah yeah. I can handle myself. No need to worry!”

“Well I do worry cause it isn’t 100% safe.”

You guys looked at each other in the eyes. And his strong gaze made you realize how worried he was about you.

“Babe. Come on now! I got into this mafia, on my own, for a reason. A good reason. I know what I am doing so please let me.”

“...ugh fine... I know I will regret this. I swear by it.”

“Yes!”

At that second, one of his men appeared in his office.

“Sorry boss but if she is going to go on the mission she must leave now. In order to assure total safety, time wise at least.”

Sehun stood up from his car and linked his arm with mine. The man bowed to him and Sehun walked towards the getaway van.

As you guys were making the trip down there, you felt more anxious with each growing painful second. All the members of EXO were in the back of the van planning out everything perfectly. This was the ultimate test of loyalty and strength for you to Sehun. You had to do well on this.

25 minutes later you guys arrived at this old warehouse. The opposing gang claimed to have left some money in there to pay back their debt to EXO. It is already know that you are the major agent in this mission but you still had your reinforcements right at your side.

Chanyeol stopped the car completely. Everyone unbuckled their seatbelts and exited.

“Now guys we stay together. At all cost.” Sehun whispered to the rest of us as you all whipped out the guns.

Slowly and carefully you all walked towards the place. Your heart rate increased rapidly with each slow and soft step. Then you guys made it to the door. There Sehun motioned you to come closer to him. You obey and walked silently to him.

“Y/N it’s now time for the one-man job part you were talking about. Be careful. Go.” With that he slighty gave a push to your shoulder.

Your heart rate seemed well above regular and maybe even on border line heart attack. As you opened the door, it creaked awfully loud making you jump. If someone was there truly, they knew you were now there too. The second your body was fully in the building you shut the door behind you. This eerie building was obviously not something to be excited about. You inched closer to the suitcase that should contain the money to pay of the opposing gangs debts.

But then you heard something crack. You pointed you gun at it and asked for whoever it was to come out.

“Hey! Whoever did that come out!” You yelled making sure the person could hear you clearly.

That’s when 10 men immerged from the shadows. You already knew this was a trap and you couldn’t win against so many people. Its an unfair fight and they know that. They just... don’t care.

As your gut told you, you began running for the door to get backup. But a tall man stopped you. He grabbed your neck and forced a white cloth on your face. You fought back as best as you could. Pushing, shoving, pulling, kicking, etc. none of it worked. As you continued to fight the side effects hit. Suddenly everything became so blury; you couldn’t see anything within a 2ft radius. Then it all turned black.

Sehun heard the ruckus that was being emitted from inside the warehouse. He quickly thought you were fighting them really well and they didn’t stand a single chance. Fear washed over him once he heard your screams. 

“What the fu-. I thought she said she could do this!” Sehun said under his breath while breaking the door open. 

“HEAD OUT!”

When Sehun walked in he was shocked. There was blood on the floor and no one was in there. He snapped his head in every direction looking for you or at least any sign of trace from you. Nothing. His second thought was to pick up his sound transmitting device (walkie talkie) and call for you. All he got in return after calling for you was static.

They had kidnapped you.

Upon their arrival to their head quarters the only thing Sehun could think about was you. How much pain were they putting you through? Were you willing to suffer to protect his mafia gang?

I think this is my favorite Letterboxd review I’ve ever written. It’s for Bad Reputation, the Joan Jett doc that just came out. 

Watched at the Belcourt Theater When I was in third or fourth grade, The Runaways and Joan Jett were all I would listen to. I was just learning how to play guitar, and their music was the perfect starter kit. I could play pretty much every Runaways album back to front, sideways, while jumping up and down in excitement in my room at two in the morning. They were my heroes. Every single person in my life proceeded to shit on my taste and skills for years, and to this day, continue to do so. I come from a family of pretentious musicians. My dad and brother both just couldn't see what this music meant to me and made me feel stupid and inadequate for daring to even try. Because of this, I started to play off those times in my life. "I was little, I just wanted to be punk, I mean, I knew they weren't that good. " For a while I believed it. My musical tastes and style moved into other genres. Fast forward to now, and I go see this movie. The minute the title track hit, I actually started crying. Hearing Joan speak again was like catching up with a big sister. Hearing all of the songs that I grew up playing made me realize that they actually were total jamz and the people in my life were wrong. I wasted a lot of time pretending to be cool when I could have been rocking out to this? The doc itself has a few flaws, I'll give it that. It's a lot of sound bytes (which I will say that, especially early on, seeing as Kim Fowley and Sandy West are no longer with us, that made sense) not as many interviews. But the effect it had on me was immediate and real and wonderful. Seeing Joan Jett be the badass she is was pure joy. She's warm and funny and unapologetic. I don't think there's many people with more God given charisma. Or ya know, a prowess for kicking out the jamz. So I beg of you, if you've got a 12 year old girl in your life who is desperate to find a style and a sound that she feels comfortable working in, let her find it, and let her excel in it, even if you think it might be juvenile or dumb. The world will be better for it. Also, fuck you Caleb.
