Delsin Rowe x reader. Shitty bad karma Delsin corrupting you slowly making you his every step of the way.

Contains: perverted Delsin who has a corruption kink, vandalism, implied sexual behavior, reader is a goody two shoes coming from a toxic overprotective household.

"Hey~ Look at you seems you got the hang of it pretty quick" He spoke as he emerged from the alleyway with two spray paint cans in hand, tossing you one with his signature half-smirk

He was a stranger you came across on your way home from ballet some months ago, you two had grown close over time as he would walk you home most nights. He's the type of man your mother warned you of; his bad influence rubbed off on you the longer you spent with him.

You didn't hate it - not one bit.

Giggling, you finish off your masterpiece proudly. "It's all thanks to you. You know, you make a good teacher."

Delsin's smirk grew a bit larger as he watched yours, his deep brown eyes taking in everything from your locks of hair to the colorful spray paint you were using. His gaze was sharp, his focus completely locked onto yours.

"Teaching? Now that's a new one… Usually, it's just bad influence"

You let out another giggle and then proceed to blush when both of your eyes meet. He's so handsome he makes you feel weak when you're around him. Like you'd burst any moment.

And that's just what he wanted. Delsin's powers of persuasion and charm up til this point would finally be enough to get you all tangled up in your emotions, no, rather in his web. Your cute and innocent nature made you the perfect target.

His lips contorted into a sly smile that he was unable to hold back as he walked up closer to you, his eyes trailing up your frame "How about you put that down and let me show you some real influence."

Goosebumps covered your arms as the space between the two of you seemed to quickly close. The grin that crossed his face was full of mischievous amusement, his eyes flickering down to your lips for a moment before returning back to your eyes. And before you knew it, Delsin's strong hands cupped your face and his mouth quickly locked with yours. The kiss was as passionate as it was intense, it felt like he was devouring you.

And, of course, your phone began screaming annoyingly. Delsin had slapped your hand away and reached into your pocket himself. It was your dad calling. He knew about Delsin and you, and let's just say he didn't approve... He probably had that parental instinct that you were with him right now. Delsin tossed your phone into the grass nearby and you didn't even care. All you cared about in this moment was being with the man in front of you. What you didn't care for was all of the screaming and borderline verbal abuse you'd get when you'd eventually arrive home.

Sure, he might seem like a bad influence, but he was the first person in your life to really understand you. The first person to actually listen to what you had to say. So, in other words, he was rocking your world. Every suffocating kiss with him felt like a breath of fresh air, and you couldn't live without that. It was like you depended on him, not realizing how attached you were.

Delsin knew all of this. Coming from a toxic household, he felt for you. It was like the two of you were destined to meet. And you're such a sweet person. You're probably the realest person he's ever met. The first person to love and support him. For that, he would never let you go. Whether you liked it or not.

Yeah, he is a bad influence. He's definitely the type to be a toxic ex boyfriend because he just would refuse to let you move on. So it's a good thing you have no objections to being with him, because otherwise... It wouldn't end so well. Meaning he would be intimidating every guy that dared to think he had a chance with you. He might even turn them to ash, completely obliterating them.

But for now, all he's focused on is becoming one with you. His main goal is being slowly accomplished with baby steps. Soon, he'll have you trained to get on your knees anywhere and anytime with his say so. You'll be his. 110% his.

In the infamous route, and both of them are vicious

but i mean, reg is already not doing half of his job by letting delsin run around and do literally everything he does

and i suppose since they have good relationship between each other, reggie never gave him any real punishment. even for graffiti before the whole conduit thing, bc i doubt that they would still be good bros after 1 year in jail, a massive fine, or whatever else punishments could apply to delsin

(trespassing, vandalism, possibly some other small crimes before the main story)

(well and straight up murder and terrorism later on)

also like, wouldnt it ruin regs career as well? delsin once mentions that reggie “pays the bills” and i suppose supporting a brother, who commited graffiti related crimes multiple times (even after the hypotetical legal punishment) would count as being associated with him (guess who pays for spraypaint if delsin is unemployed)

i dont really know about the law implications of such cases in the us but i doubt that reg would be able to move up the career ladder and become a sheriff without covering up majority of delsin’s crimes

+reg is legit worried about delsin and cares for him, so that might have stopped him from taking legal actions (that would result in del getting a crime record that could wrong him in that beautiful imaginary future of a lawful sitizen that reg wants for his brother)

so what i suppose happens is that he arrests delsin, scolds him, maybe makes him sit in the police station cell for a few days and thats it. No official records or anything.

also the fact that reg says that he is proud of delsin before his death in any karma route is remarkable, and i feel like he really means it.

The thing about his morals is how ready he was to leave and quit everything throughout the story just for delsin’s safety. In the beginning, when he was doubtful of the whole idea of going against augustine and taking her power (in his mind he apparently already buried their tribe and wasnt going to let his brother die too)

and later on, when delsin thought that he lost his powers. Reg was immideately happy for him and ready to go home. And i feel like the way he is ready to basically sacrifice their only chance for saving their family for delsin connects well with him loving and supporting delsin no matter what he does.

They are the only really close ones left for each other, and this fact really seems to impact reggie’s morals and choices.

and what i mean by all of that is that if reggie lived, he would probably stay beside delsin anyway, even in bad karma. He would find new and new excuses to forgive him anything he would do. (up to some breaking point probably, but still)

and, if we are talking [your] corrupt cop reggie, he wouldnt even have to make excuses. I imagine he doesnt even care, as long as its delsin. His bro can do whatever he wants and reg will use his legal power to make sure he wont get into trouble.

I suppose that in this scenario none of them would give much fuck about other conduits (similarly to how bad karma delsin puts himself above eugene and fetch, and how he only sees other conduits as free powers)

imagine delsin and fetch terrorising another group of anti-conduit protestants, and they call the police only for reggie to accuse them of uncoordinated rally or smth

also i feel like this is one of those scenarios where rowecest could work (if anyone is into that). Since they both would totally lack any morals (and i guess respect for other people lmao)

In canon, reggie was against conduits at first, but made an exception for delsin (the same way he did it with any other crime, like being agains all vandals, except for delsin, who got a free pass as his brother)

Corrupt cop reggie could behave similarly in the sense that he would make an excuse for himself and del. While all other criminals deserve the punishment, they are fine. How beautifully hypocritical of him would that be.

oh and yk this trope in mafia movies and such, where one of the family members is in the law enforcement, and half of the story we think that he hates the family (and vice versa) but then its revealed that he is still the same part of it all, and all the hate is no more then public facade. I believe that something similar could happen (as delsin’s actions would have to impact reggie’s reputation)

corrupt reggie would definetely make public statements about how he rejects his bioterrorist brother (and uh huh coincedentally would never fulfill his promices of doing at least something about the problem) to keep said reputation.

Also i feel like they would still talk in banter, but instead of bringing up the moral aspects, reggie would scold delsin for the way he is not careful enough, that reg cannot save him from everything and that he needs to be less reckless. (still insufferable lmao)

all of this could happen, if from the very beginning reggie had around the same morals as delsin. Either he became a cop to protect his brother and the tribe, or any other reason, seeing the structure from the inside would make him believe, that yeah, his mindset is completely normal

(maybe as a more responsible one he decided that work in the police would be beneficial for them as he would be able to keep delsin out of trouble)

UGH PLS au where sam eventually gives to her feelings for delsin during bad karma but then he still pulls through with bad karma and sams like “why did you do this? killing dozens of innocents?” and delsin just “what do you want me to do? you know how they treat us? I wasnt gonna let that happen. And I wasnt gonna let them stop me from getting back to you.”

Ok what if..

Brainwashed Reggie but make him bad karma Reggie

He kills Augustine himself because he cares for his brother. Delsin being a good karma it's shocked and scared.

Reggie not being who he was acting more impulsive more sassy.. more corrupt when he gets his job back at salmon bay.

Delsin slowly helping him piece himself back up. Him slowly caring until he falls back again into his cold- maybe psychopathic demanour

Ok What is the worst thing Sam does in her story? (That one is interestinggg)

Omg the worst thing? 🫣 Hmmmmmm 😏 I feel like the worst thing would be in bad!karma were she lets her guard down and lets Delsin go (or hesitates to actually take him down on the spot) and it results in her team members getting killed.

In the game it might have been like “oh boy mans just disintegrated!” but oh if that happened irl that would be traumatic plus a lot of sam’s junior officers blamed her for their friend’s death and all.

I have like a whole story plot for bad!karma cause that route is ANGST and it’s so fun to just come up with ideas for it.

I lowkey lean towards Bad!Karma just because of the scenarios in my head and also cause there’s more snarky remarks in bad karma as well as his voice just being 😩😩 but I love both!

So I got the idea for Sam’s powers from official concept art of Infamous Second Son! They had glass, wire, steel, etc.

Originally I was going to do neon first, since it was a self-insert OC I could see myself having neon powers. But then I thought maybe steel? but my friends recommended wire and I was like “hmm okay!” And tbh that’s how I started with her powers! And through out drawing her concepts, more ideas started flowing in :) I also knew I wanted her DUP outfit to be like Fetch’s DUP outfit from First Light >:)c

I’ll probably redo the shinies to better fit what I was going for later, but bad karma was meant to have D.U.P. Colors, and Good karma was meant to have fetches neon colors.

The difference between this and the bad karma ending is that its just reg who is dead (instead of the whole ass tribe) and augustine is still there to yap abt it

Tbh angst is good, i would have legit expected some sort of conflict (possibly violent) between reg and del if i didnt know what the game ends with.

But also that is such bizarre topic to bond over, the "yeah we accidentally killed our brothers with our conduit powers" club. And unless del was also high during the murder that is full on his fault.

Tbh i do feel like he would spiral down bad karma waay quicker after this

1:I noticed you have a favoritism to Bad!Karma Delsin....is there any particular reason why? (Not judging given my first playthrough was a Bad!Karma run)

Hmmm idk :0 To be honest I like default Delsin the most but for some reason i get drawn back to Bad!Delsin 😭 I dont know ig it cause I think of bad!karma as a sly dude with a very mischievous attitude idk how to describe it AHH but that’s just normal Delsin to be honest hehe. Like with my most reason art I drew him as bad delsin cause ig it just fit right for some reason? :O

For other fanart of the other conduits maybe… Ive been hyper focused on Delsin (i love this man frfr$ that i havent really gotten to that yet haha maybe in the future cause I do have some post ideas!

If i had to choose between the powers irl it would be smoke or neon but leaning on neon! I LOVE smoke!! It’s my favorite for design wise because of how clever the dash is! But I could draw with neon! Like how cool is that!
