it does still make me insane specifically how many queer people lovingly embrace astrology. I went to a poetry workshop yesterday that was genuinely quite good but also included an option to disclose astrology designations during introductions and so many people broke out some variation of "I'm a [x] sum but I have a [y] placement and it SHOWS" girl no it doesn't. that's meaningless correlation you completely invented the causation

I’ve been zero amounts of creative lately, but I’m trying to prep myself to start knitting a sweater. I’ve been struggling with deciding on a pattern, mostly because I don’t actually know how to read patterns yet. I’m also trying to find a video tutorial, and man, the choice paralysis is real.

On the upside, I’m slowly working my way through some of my reading list. Finally started The Picture of Dorian Gray, and I’ve never felt a book more relatable. I’m also playing through Oblivion, which I hadn’t done before the remaster, and have been thoroughly enjoying that. Skyrim was such a huge part of me surviving my early 20’s, and to be able to have this entire ass other game is a so healing.

i like working at plant store. sometimes you ring up someone and there's a slug on their plant and so you're like "Oh haha you've got a friend there let me get that for you" and you put the slug on your hand for safekeeping but then its really busy and you dont have time to take the slug outside before the next customer in line so you just have a slug chilling on your hand for 15 minutes. really makes you feel at peace with nature. also it means sometimes i get to say my favorite line which is "would you like this free slug with your purchase"
