Much to Omega's chagrin, Hunter attempts to leave her behind as they go on a mission to infiltrate an Imperial facility. Note that although Pabu is a relatively safe place, he still won't leave her by herself.

I love that despite their unresolved issues, Crosshair defends Hunter's intent to leave Omega behind.

From Season 3 Episode 7: Extraction

It's hard not to get distracted by Rex frog jumping out of the way, but Hunter grabs Omega in the background to the left as he dodges out of the way of blaster fire.

The fact that both Hunter and Wrecker step in front of Omega and raise their blasters at the same time speaks volumes about their determination to keep her safe. They were always determined, but that determination has been intensified by the six plus months they spent running themselves ragged while they tried to find her.

From Season 3 Episode 9: The Harbinger

Hunter is the first to move closer to Omega when he hears Ventress mention "the Force" because he recognizes the word first. As soon as he says "Jedi" both Crosshair and Wrecker also step closer to Omega. This is certainly one of the more overprotective moments, but as someone* pointed out, none of them know anything about the Force except that it's something associated with Jedi. They all remember what happened to the Jedi and the mere speculation that Omega just might have the Force and therefore (in their eyes) possibly be Jedi is enough to put them all on edge.

Sometimes when I’m playing Lego Skywalker Saga I like to play as Hunter and Crosshair and make them go on “get along” missions across the galaxy

Same with Maul and Obi-Wan

Hunter/Tech; fireflies

“What the hell...?” Hunter scowls at the little yellow lights that flicker across the windshield of his parked ship, clearly and utterly perplexed. 

“Fireflies!” Tech exclaims softly as he jolts out of his seat to lean on the console and get a better look. 

“Fireflies?” Hunter repeats, and his expression changes dramatically when he sees the absolute elation on Tech’s face. His smile is contagious, and his eyes are bright and wide with wonder. 

Hunter relaxes, and a smile tugs on the corner of his lips as Tech talks about the tiny little bugs with light up butts with awe and enthusiasm. If Tech likes them, he supposes they can’t be that bad.

Look, after a prompt rewatch of Ep 7 (specifically the scene where Wrecker’s chip activates) I have stumbled upon a startling realisation and I wanna say “I hope this doesn’t awaken anything in me” but it’s a bit too late for that because….

Hunter is dealing with Omega going through that phase where she doesn't want to be just like her parents anymore and wants to be part of the cool crowd aka treasure hunting pirates and she doesn't copy everything he does anymore and he is so jealous
