If I was Piquadro, i'd be calling daniel for personal sponsorship in the same way he works with go pro. He rarely does a super blatant "check out this product" ad for them but rather uses their product in a very genuine way that showcases its performance. Him using that backpack the way he does shows pretty solid durability and functionality. I'm kind of sold on it and I don't need a backpack.

I put backpack on my wish list for four years and haven't gotten one still and this year (being the fifth) I wrote it twice. Guess what? Didn't get a backpack. I could've technically bought one myself a long time ago but at this point I'm committed to writing backpack on my wish list until she gets me one istg

You guys ever heard of baby races? It's when you take a bunch of babies and line them up, then you get their caretaker to call for them from the finish line. Fastest baby wins.

It's funny because (a) the babies are not aware they're in a race and are just kinda crawling around wherever they want to, and (b) the race is very slow which subverts expectations and plays off the Very Serious™ announcers quite well

But not knowing about it and being slow are totally doable in other contexts.

And for that reason I'm proposing that some Speedsters (cough cough Wally Jesse Bart Ace Avery) hold 'normal-speedster races'. (For context, 'normal-speedster' is the tongue-in-cheek name speedsters use to refer to non speedsters. Speedsters are super-speedsters, non speedsters are 'normal-speedsters'.)

I think they pick a spot and bet on which teammate gets there first. Rules are that you can't interfere or touch the contestants in any way and you cannot directly ask them to come towards you.

HATE HATE HATE how the online shopping revolution has affected salespeople knowing things about the product I'm handing them money for. Is this backpack waterproof? Why is there an RFID tag on it? How much volume does it hold? I DON'T KNOW AND NEITHER DID THE SALESLADY. And that's where the conversation ends!!! Last time I went to a shop where they MADE THINGS and literally were so technologically illiterate that I had to get 50€ cash to pay for my belt I got told EVERYTHING about the product! What material is it why is it that material how long is it how thick is it why does it look like that and not different how long will it last me will it change with wear and if yes how can I bring it in to get fixed if something goes wrong AT THE END OF IT I PRACTICALLY KNEW THE COWS NAME!!!! This is how it should be JUST LET ME KNOW STUFF ABOUT THE THINGS I'M BUYING I BEG YOU!!! And "it's not made to last anymore, I can tell you that" as the ONLY thing your salesperson knows about an item FROM YOUR STORE BRAND. Is BAD. ITS FUCKING BAD!!!!!

Hey. Do you like patches but you also like being able to customize and rearrange on a whim too?

Get yourself some loop fabric. Sew it to your jacket or bag or whatever you're sticking patches on. Get hook backed patches. Or buy some hook sided fabric and glue/sew it to your existing patches. There's hook sided fabric with adhesive backing too.

Now you can have patches and move them around to add new ones or reflect different moods.
