This reminds me of that picture that's like "shout out to the Wild Wooders, yall my favorite gender for real" or something like that I don't remember
Wild Wooder gender real
Darkwelestic (dark - wel - est - ic)
Definition:
A gender that feels like a dark forest that feels very spooky and unsettling first, but once you get to know it and the creatures living inside, it turns out to be very welcoming and nice

I sense a fucked up family dynamic....Deep-rooted problems....Repression...The need to fit into the “perfect footballer” role...
(nsfw-ish fic prompt underneath)
Summer vacation spent with the family, away, probably in a summer home in France. Patrick Melrose vibes. Cousin Jamie, Jamie, Jamie, born only five days apart from Frank, but five years older, the cool Spice Boy with sunglasses and his curtain haircut, parted in the middle. Frank styled his hair in the same way for his debut season for West Ham. Whatever happened in France stays in France. His dad has to be proud of him. He has to be perfect. He is perfect, at least that’s what everyone has always said. You, with your family, with your money, with your background, Jesus Christ, you’ll do great things. You, with those blue eyes, Jesus Christ, you’ll get every girl you’ll want. Any guy, if you want. So polished, so good, so well-behaved, so intelligent. “Don’s laugh too much, be serious. People need to take you seriously,” his father used to say. Frank still remembers it, every time he slips up and laughs in an interview. Frank oozes class, Frank has manners. Frank can cite old Latin proverbs, and Frank used to be asked to play violing for the guests at his parents’ house. Guests seated in the dark wooder chairs with carved ornaments. Chairs that Jamie once showed him could be used for other things than sitting, the curved ornaments carved at the back of those chairs providing pleasure with the right friction -
He was special. Everyone used to say so. Where has that validation gone?
God, Frank never had a chance.

I got nothing clever
LK 105: Not gonna let 'em catch the midnight rider
(pt1)(pt2)(pt3)(pt4)
why is she dictating while writing? Does she do that every time I wonder if it gets annoying.
The way the VA says "backgrounds" makes me wonder if she's Canadian or just having a real hard time with RP. Which also makes me wish they had made the colonists have a more reconstructed accent like they did in Turn because that piratey-ass accent is delightful and I can just imagine James with it, but also calls water "wooder."
I wonder where the budget for this episode went.
You got some marmite to spread on those words 'cuz you're probably gonna eat them.
We finally get a good view of this chair, it has been bothering me for like 4 episodes. Also are those drawers in the wall??? I love them.
James there was probably a better way you could have done that. Do you have a thing for coming up behind her and muffling her mouth.
Sarah you can't just give the excitable beagle/great dane mix of a boy ideas.
"I've made a terrible mistake."
They're kinna giving "Guy from Super Solvers: Midnight Rescue" vibes.
The Chaos Crew is primed and ready for poorly-thought out decision making, also what the fuck is James' face doing here.
that is a MASSIVE STACK OF POSTERS jfc.
Stupid headcanon that I spun from this: "oh my god the really pretty smart girl is doing chaos with me?? She wants to do chaos with me??? To protecc the journalism???? With me????? :) "
"right... gotta - uh - gotta look Capable. Focused. Intimidating."
man the Super Solvers sure are twitchy tonight.
HIS LUMBAGO
and in this moment they all turned into clueless golden retrievers with their heads cocked to one side. Even Henri's brain cell isn't at 100 tonight.
Unlikely, but you never gonna catch Spy!Henri sleepin'.
He's holding back so much exasperated sass right now. Exsassperated.
Oh that's right, Moses is a spy, too
Translation: rich fuckers
They're good at what they do, Henri, keep up.
He smells danger, like a shark smells blood in the water.
...well, actually, nobody said that, Sarah.
I'm sorry I'm not sorry.

Honestly, one of the things I love about the Wind in the Willows musical (among many other things) is the background characters, SPECIFICALLY the Wild Wooders, because of just how many there are and how they're usually in a group on stage. There are so many things going on in the background that probably don't even go noticed unless you look! The weasel stealing Chiefs popcorn during the court scene, the stoat that appears to be flirting with a fox during the reprise of The Wild Wooders, the fox that looks straight up PISSED when Lesser stole the cigar/alcohol from him in Taking over the Hall. They have SO MUCH personality, and there's so many hints as to what their individual personalities are, even if they almost never get noticed! I love it, and it makes me want to rewatch the musical over and over, just to see what's going on in the background.
I love that too, it's one of my favorite things to do when rewatching things like witw and cats. I love watching little background interactions and moments that give them more personality. I don't think I've noticed all those moments you've mentioned so I'll have to look out for them next time I watch it.

A A A-
Okokok, so!
First: Ratty waving at the rabbits, we love. He's just trying to avoid Toad and then is immediately attacked with love. And he's a little uncomfy, but mostly just like "aight ok, hey Toad". Mole, bless him, doesn't really know what's going on.
Second: T H E M ! Oh my goodness, the vibes I get from this scene. The terror from these two at being apart and the pure relief they feel at seeing each other alive. TvT *sobbing*
Third: More of them <3 Only this time it's Ratty being apologetic because Moley is homesick and upset and crying very high pitched. Ratty's doing his best here.
Fourth: Portia and Toad! Look at Toad being so nice (I mean tbf he did just save her life, but still). This isn't a niceties or grand gesture kind of hug imo, it's a "hey, glad you're safe, I'm happy you're alive" kind of thing. And like, Portia is willing to hug him. Yeah, we haven't seen much of her reaction to Toad's antics through the show, but she gives off the same chaos vibes as him.
Fifth: THIS. MOMENT. Ugh, I love them honestly. Ratty finally caving, giving Toad yet another chance even though he's just blown up at him. This is friendship right here lads. Ngl, the line "you loved him once" did stick out to me a little, so maybe in the musical timeline previously there was a Thing™ idk. But this is frienship. The pats that Toad gives Ratty, the gentle and happy hug in return. Bless. Also! Background Mrs O & Portia hug!!
Sixth: Shoulder rubs! <3 Also, the grin from Toad when Mole joins them. Such love between them (I read platonic here). A happy moment after the turmoil of running the Wooders out of Toad Hall.
Bonus: The fact that Toad, in his joy, felt comfortable enough to attempt a hug with Badger, but then respected Badger's boundaries and sort of remembered himself when Badge stopped him with the cane is so lovely to me. Like, he's being silly and happy, but still backs away because he knows Badger isn't used to the whole "knowing he's loved" thing, like Mole discovers at the party later.
@sardinesandhumbugs thank youuuu, I love these with all my heart, I will now go and cry happy tears in a corner TvT
Hugs & The Wind and the Willows Musical
Bonus:
#ty ty tysm i love these <333#sniffling at how sweet#look at them all#my hearrrrttttt <333#i love the hugs in this show smmm

TAIWAN 2018: Huashan 1914 Creative Park
Huashan 1914 Creative Park used to be a winery built by Japanese in 1914. Now, it serves as a multipurpose park, hosting various exhibitions throughout the year.
If you’d ask me, this is probably where the hipsters hangout---rustic building, greenery, and cafes. There are also artists selling their merch.
One could never go wrong with leafy walls.
The place wasn’t so busy when got there. Probably because it was lunch time and there wasn’t any big exhibition going on.
A theatre for independent films.
Wooderful Life. It’s where you can find lots of wooden toys and figures.
Plenty of unique and handcrafted items by the local artists.
I actually just sneaked in these photos because they don’t allow picture taking.
This dog was such a good boy. His owner told him to sit against the background and he posed right away for a photo.
When you go to Huashan 1914 Creative Park, make sure to look out for exhibitions and plan your date of visit accordingly so you can experience more from this place.
To get here, take the Orange Line or Blue Line to Zhongxiao Xinsheng (忠孝新生), Exit 1. Continue walking straight until reaching Jinshan Rd intersection. Cross the intersection and enter the park's main entrance on the right.

The best places to live in Philadelphia
New Post has been published on http://foursprout.com/wealth/the-best-places-to-live-in-philadelphia/
The best places to live in Philadelphia
Philadelphia has gone from an underdog to the newest “it” city.
With culinary hotspots, a rich historical background, and affordable housing, it’s easy to see why Millennials and entrepreneurs are flooding to Philadelphia.
If you’re looking to make the move, here are the best neighborhoods in Philadelphia.
Almost overnight Philly has gone from an underdog city to the newest “it” city of the east coast. Earlier this year, the Eagles finally clinched the Super Bowl win every resident’s been dreaming of, it’s on the shortlist for Amazon’s new headquarters, and the real estate market has never been hotter.
The New York Times even referred to it as “the next borough,” a nod to its proximity to the Big Apple and the Amtrak train that gets you from city to city in just over an hour — less than it takes some Brooklynites to make their way to Manhattan.
Add to that a world-class food scene, theatre on par with its east-coast cousins, a rich historical and cultural background and affordable housing, and you can see how it’s quickly become a hub of millennials and aspiring entrepreneurs.
For someone like me, who was born and raised in Philadelphia, it’s easy to see why it’s succeeded. The people, food, charm and affordable prices were enough to make me move home after spending eight years in New York. A piece of advice? You’ll quickly learn that cheesesteaks come “wit whiz” and water is known as “wooder” … and that’s enough to win over lifelong locals!
If you happen to fall into the category of someone contemplating a move to the City of Brotherly Love, here are five of the best neighborhoods.
SEE ALSO: The 8 hottest housing markets in America
1. Fairmount
Fairmount is the perfect place for any art lover or fitness fanatic. It’s steps away from world-renowned museums like the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Barnes Foundation, and the Rodin Museum. Soak up Cézanne, relish in Rodin, or delight in Degas — it’s all within reach in Fairmount.
As for fitness freaks — you can run the museum steps Rocky Balboa style or give Kelly Drive, a pedestrian lane running along the Schuykill River, a spin. It’s by far the most idyllic spot for an early-morning workout.
If you’re feeling especially adventurous you can go for a row in the river. Boathouse Row runs parallel to the pedestrian hotspot and is a home to the clubhouses of rowers from high schools and universities all over town.
2. Manayunk
You’ll find Manayunk a 20-minute train ride or drive from the center of Philadelphia. Manayunk has the charm of a small town but the personality and bustling feel of a city. Nestled among massive hills is Main Street, a bustling hub of small businesses.
With more than 30 restaurants, 18 bars and clubs, nine cafes and coffee shops, boutiques, specialty stores and art galleries all within a mile radius, there’s no need to travel far for the culture you need.
At night, the streets are alive with its young residents. Manayunk is home to hundreds of college students thanks to its close proximity to six of Philly’s biggest schools. But don’t let that scare you away — many of these college students have grown up and stayed in the area to raise their families. It’s also home to young professionals, new parents, and dog lovers.
3. Fishtown
In spite of its interesting name, Fishtown is actually a lovely little place to live. Most Philadelphians equate Fishtown to Brooklyn’s Bushwick — it’s a little bit hipster, but a lot of fun. Full of quirky bars, antique shops and restaurants, Fishtown is only a 20-minute subway ride from the heart of the city.
What was once a home for local commercial fishermen is now home to eclectic art, a thriving music scene and a coffee company giving Starbucks a run for their money, La Colombe. Factories have been transformed into modern, sleek lofts and tiny row homes have been upgraded to luxury homes with roof decks overlooking the city skyline.

Okay, kinda random, but hear me out;
The Wild Wooder pups come up with the WILDEST plots when they're playing with whatever toys they find/are made for them, something along these lines, and Chief and the other adults get absolutely INVESTED watching it like it's some kinda of reality show. Part of them is kinda concerned where the pups learned about these things... the other parts are just impressed by how good their acting is and how they keep making the plot more interesting.
GOODBYE BECAUSE GIRL I SAT THEIR WITH MY HAND OVER MY MOUTH THE ENTIRE TIME
Benji would be proud of his pups ♡

Unpopular opinion but I kind of think Sheryl would like shiny things/jewelry and and that kind of stuff more than lesser.
A lot of people in their efforts to make Les as autistic as possible headcanno the whole "collects cool rocks and shiny shit" and though I do think that Lesser would like Jewelry like, Sheryl would just like it more
I feel like she's a lot more concerned with her appearance and I think she's definitely a little crow like so I don't doubt for a little she would have that "Its shiny, I want it" mentality
I think if anything, Lesser likes to find the shiny things and look at the shiny things, so he wouldn't mind going out and finding jewelry and such and immediately giving most to Sheryl (and some to chief) so that he could look at them wearing it
Victoria also loves jewelry and looking nice and such, even moreso than Sheryl

Headcannon: Emerald and Victoria have this sorta ongoing silent competition to see who's the most dramatic in the pack. No one knows who's winning at this point, not even them.

Who's your favorite background Wooder so far and why?
I think out of all the wild wooders, my favorite is Max.
I feel connected to Chief in a way that I am him, and in that way, choosing him as my favorite is too narcissistic.
There was a time when I would have, without skipping a beat, claimed Leslin to be my favorite. But as of now, Lesser is my ex and a racist. His character is no longer my favorite character just because I love him.
Max feels perfect enough. I relate to him. I know what it's like to be autistic and to use unconventional methods to feel better about it. Writing about Max's drug problem helps me to feel better about the alcohol issue I once had. It helps me feel more understood.
I feel like Max is the Wild Wooder that a lot of neurodivergents can relate to. Moreover than lesser.
As much as I tried to fight it. Fandom sees Lesser as "baby" it's disgusting, but it's what autistic people are used to at this point. Neurodivergents don't want to always be seem as baby. Max is how we see ourselves. Goofballs. High goofballs, yeah, goofballs nonetheless. Goofballs with real interests like cooking, real loves and real lives. Real hobbies. Real problems and really coping mechanism. Even real bad ones.
I love Max because he's more than just me
He's like the model of lesser that was created for the disgusting neurotypicals out there to not baby.

You know those memes where it's like "How would *insert fandom* characters react to being asked for their pronouns?"
Well, how would the Wild Wooders react to being asked their pronouns?
Chief (he/they/it):
"Aye, uh, I'm a guy so, him"
Lesser (he/they):
"He, I think, They I guess."
Sheryl (She/Her):
"She/Her/Hers. The girl ones"
Charles (He/Him):
"He/Him"
Austin (He/Him):
"What? Uh.. the normal ones, I guess"
Lindsay (She/They):
"She and they"
Emerald (She/Her):
"She/Her, but some other ones would be cute. Wis I had some cute other ones"
Max (He/doesn't care):
Asks you what you said three times and then jut smiles and nods
Mark (He/Him)
"Yeah, He I guess"
None of the Wild Wooders mean any offense when they say the 'normal'pronoubs or anything along those lines
I doubt anyone in witw gets proper pronoun education, but its especially not at the top of the wild wooders priority list. Wooders like Emerald didn't even know they got a choice
