As he gets older, Danny progressively gets less and less tolerant of everyone else's bs. Not in a Dark Danny way, in a "oh, you just stabbed me with a knife? Nice. New one for the collection" in a bored voice and with a deadpan expression way.

Sam, seeing that he is planning on absolutely tackling Dash, who has a whole foot on him (back with my Danny is 5'2-5'4 propaganda) simply throws him over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Meanwhile Danny is flipping Dash off as he's getting carried away by his Tol Goth friend (or girlfriend if you want)

Skip to senior year, Dash makes an offhanded remark about Danny still being a loser, and Danny, being done after yet another night of ghost fighting then almost missing first period, cracks his knuckles and rolls up his sleeves.

Side note: Sam doesn't stop Danny from fighting Dash because he would get hurt, but because Dash would probably end up with a few broken ribs, and that would be way too suspicious when you consider Danny's... Everything)

⋆｡°✩ Kyle Broflovski:

6'2”. Tall with lean muscle. Ginger with emerald green eyes and light freckles. Very curly hair with trimmed sides.

Juggles the debate club, basketball team, student council, and too many AP classes to count.

The first to get his driver's license out of the main 4 + Leopold.

His parents got him a car for his birthday for doing so well academically.

Works and volunteers during the summer.

Gets into detention often due to Cartman baiting him into fights.

Has gotten benched multiple times for playing too aggressively in basketball games when instigated by rival teams.

Has a tight knit study group with Wendy, Tolkien, and Nichole.

They help each other out with their AP classes but also consider each other rivals, trying to beat the other for the title of valedictorian.

Very good at first person shooters, often out performing Cartman.

Knows how to build a PC.

Learned how to program in his free time.

Spends time with his family and has a close relationship with Ike.

Knows Cartman’s schedule better than Cartman himself

Begrudgingly gives Cartman rides to school sometimes. Will leave him if he takes too long though.

5'11”. Average build. Straight dark black hair. Wears a beanie often since his hair gets oily fast. Dark blue eyes.

Stan loves writing and listening to music. He's very big into metal, rock, and Midwest emo right now.

His extracurriculars are football and the board game club.

He volunteers at animal shelters in his free time and fundraisers for the environment.

He's an average student, usually getting Bs and Cs, and a D if he doesn't study enough.

He's terrible at multitasking. He's a very forgetful person.

Wendy and Kyle constantly have to remind him about deadlines and big projects.

On his 16th birthday, his dad gave him his old pick up truck.

Tolkien comes over often and they do homework together. He helps Stan with math a lot.

Stan and Kyle still consider themselves best friends even if they don't live right next door.

Crimson Dawn meets up often, practicing at Stan's since they can be as loud as they want there.

Sometimes friends like Kyle, Wendy, Timmy, and Tolkien come over to just hang out with the others and watch the band practice.

Stan and Wendy have been off and on since elementary school. It's obvious when they're not dating since Stan sometimes relapses back into his goth phase.

Stan and Tolkien have hooked up on a few occasions when Stan and Wendy broke up.

Tolkien has also dated Wendy on more than one occasion.

Stan is the type of kid that casually gets along with every “clique” in school since he doesn't really have beef with anyone. He's a very chill guy who often reacts pretty indifferently to most things.

⋆｡°✩Kenny Mccormick:

5’8”. Very skinny, mainly due to a poor diet. Wavy dirty blonde hair, tends to grow it out or cuts it short depending on his mood. Purple eyes. Front tooth gap.

Kenny's been working overtime while attending school since middle school. He gets paid under the table for most of it.

He saved up just enough to buy a really run down, beat up, used car. It's a stick shift and requires a ton of repairs.

He learned a lot about mechanics in order to save money and not have to take it anywhere to get fixed.

He learned how to drive stick shift and how to fix a car through YouTube.

He takes and picks up Karen from school. He also pays for all of her school supplies and encourages her to pick up extracurriculars.

Kenny doesn't have to study in order to get good grades in school. He barely has to do his homework either. As long as he listens to the lectures and skims through the material, he’ll pass. If he didn’t work overtime then he would be highly ranked in their year.

Kenny barely sleeps 4 hours a day. 5 on a good day.

He plans to keep working at the same pace and go to a trade school. Once he is more settled and his sister is an adult able to stand on her own, he might go back to school but he doesn't really stress about it and prefers living day by day then worrying about the future.

⋆｡°✩Leopold Butters Scotch:

5’9”. Lanky. Light blonde hair and sky blue eyes.

Works while attending school. Is very good at saving money.

Bought his own car at 16. Very safe driver with the occasional outburst of road rage.

Bought his own gaming PC. It's Hello Kitty themed. His favorite games are Animal Crossing and Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

Does very well in school.

Tutors others in his free time.

Volunteers to read for preschoolers at the community library.

Works as a summer camp counselor during the summers.

Cartman copies his homework when he isn't looking.

Part of the Board Game club and the Cheerleading squad.

Still gets grounded by his parents a lot but plans to live in College dorms soon.

⋆｡°✩Bebe is bisexual and has dated a few of the girls when off with Clyde. Clyde has no game however and barely dates anyone when they are broken up. She's part of cheerleading, volleyball, and the yearbook club. She's a minor influencer online, focusing on fashion, beauty, feminism, and human rights.

⋆｡°✩Wendy and Kyle constantly compete for valedictorian. She's captain of the debate team, cheerleading squad (Bebe vice captain), and volleyball team (Nichole vice captain). What’s your thought process on building a character, and how long does it typically take?

I’m a character designer (art wise, trying to get into writing again) and I find myself tying my character’s backstories and personality traits into song lyrics I hear from music I like to listen to. Sometimes months after I make a character, I’ll be listening to music and then just go, “frick it, this guy plays guitar and has mental problems now.” Cuz I like the song lol.

do you do anything weird like that?

There's no one way it really happens. A lot of the initial motivation is based on what the narrative needs or wants, then I shake my lil magic 8 ball that is my brain and say a prayer.

But as I start to dig in, I realize different pieces and layers that work their way in. Sometimes my own personal needs, traumas, and history make it in there without realizing it. An example of that is how I've realized that Alphonse is pretty grief driven, which is part of my own "oh that's why I behave that way" journey. Alphonse being so closely tied to myself personally, it makes a lot of sense that I would have written that without even realizing it.

Going back through Chapter 1 of BS made that super clear because there's a whole lot of spots where it's like...oh, he really wanted to say this but I didn't know it at the time.

I don't really do anything like that purposefully from the outset, but it's real special when I finally connect the dots.

There's a character in Echoes of Evalas that wasn't even a part of it until much later in my planning. The story lacked a "fish out of water" character to use as a convenient way to teach key lore and history to, and it was not going to be the listener character. So I pondered, and saw an opening. Within about 20 minutes I could see exactly how this character slotted into the story across decades if not more of history surrounding the narrative, and how he impacted the people he'll be interacting with. Their creation then unlocked things in later episodes that solved problems I hadn't even started trying to tackle because that one piece of the puzzle cleared up the "fog of war" that settles over a yet to be outlined narrative.

When it comes to retroactively being like "you know what, this character definitely does/has/likes this" look no further than Dark Mode Alphonse. That happened years after his debut and was a choice made in reference to my past as a lil baby goth, but served a few purposes narratively. It boiled down to me wanting to give a character so close to me personally another piece of myself, and let him be this idealized radical manifestation of two times in my life that were tied to my ideal aesthetics and style.

So, there are many ways it happens for me, and I like it that way! I'm very bad at following instructions or doing things by the book. 😂

He started the whole vampire shit with humans. He was so emo and brooding and all that silly stuff when humans were around and it made the myth/legend of vampires.

He actually loves his curly hair but refuses to be taken as a joke so he keeps his hair buzzed. (Too many people said he looked soft with his curly hair long)

If he were to step down from the council it would be to adopt a child. DONT ASK ME WHY I JUST HAVE A FEELING HE WOULD OK.

Use to be reckless and wild until he accident hurt people he cares about which set him down the path to becoming what he is today.

Is more up to date with the times than any other ancient elf. He is actually surprisingly patient and loves to learn the new stuff no matter how hard he tries to bullshit it and say he doesn't care and all that emo bs.

If he cares about you he's very attentive and does a lot of silent acts of service; like making food and having it sent to you and all that jazz. But it's hard for anyone to get in his heart, mostly because he takes his job seriously.

Definitely not straight. His sassy ass is most definitely bisexual but also not really into anyone. He just thinks everyone is hot and doesn't think much farther than that.

The OG emo/goth but when he was younger he was the OG punk/scene kid. Don't ask, I just know it ok.

When not sober he's literally the softest and silliest guy ever: one time he flirted with Emery while drunk (he made an excuse the next day saying he thought Emery was a women while drunk. It was a lie. He knew.)

Switches from the parent of the council to the bratty child who doesn't like complying with the group.

Very close with Oralie, even before Sophie. He was one of the few people to support her and actively gossips with her. They are besties your honor.

He used to be much sillier and laid back when he first joined the council but after the thousands of years and all that he's seen he learned to become cold and do what has to do.

Out of all the council he would be the least likely to have his mind shatter from guilt: especially if the guilt would be murder of any kind. He's seen a lot and he's desensitized to it in a sense. He wouldn't feel an ounce of guilt if it was to protect the helpless.

He is very against hurting helpless people in any kind. He was only aggressive with Sophie because he knew she wasn't helpless and that she was probably dangerous; He never wished her to be harmed in the way she was. Even when inflicting he went easy on her.

I also think he only basically bullied Sophie to push her to be better to prove him wrong. He did not want her to be evil, so he was the bad that pushed her to do good ifykwim.

Likes to nap any chance he gets. He just likes how comfy his bed is tbh.

Not fond of land animals unless they're fluffy as all hell and adores sea creatures.

Use to hate change when he was younger and now he's so used to change that he handles it the best out of anyone on the council.

Mourns his old friends as if they were dead because he cannot connect with anyone due to his job. Secretly thinks of Oralie and Emery as his friends but never tell him. (They know and they also don't say anything.)

Emery and Him have kissed. I just know it.

Disassociates a lot. Dawg is traumatized, like he's been alive for how long? Ain't no way he ain't traumatized.

Hello! I saw you were doing match-ups for Hazbin Hotel and wanted to give it a whirl!

I'm AFAB, and use she/her pronouns. I do have a preference for males, but I wouldn't mind being paired with one of the female characters in the show.

Personality wise... I'm an introvert and do prefer time to myself, but I love hanging out with my friends and family immensely. I hold them very closely to my heart and would do A LOT for them. I'm a music lover and have a preference for rock/alternative music. I'm also a bit of a smart-ass and can't stand bs, lol. I will gently call people out for being hurtful or dumb, or both. I also have a soft spot for animals of all kinds. They literally deserve the world. 😫

My style is more casual and comfy?? Like leggings, sweatpants, fuzzy socks, a nice fitting tank top, with a hoodie or sweater on. I have been wanting to get into more styles like Y2K Grunge and Goth, but haven't found pieces that would fit me. (I'm a bit curvy and have a hard time finding stuff that won't suffocate me)

My main love languages are Quality Time and Acts of Service. I just love the idea of making food together or doing chores while listening to some music. Singing along, either seriously or goofily, lol.

My hobbies are mainly daydreaming, singing and dancing, and listening to music. I used to draw but haven't in YEARS. I have thought about getting back into it, but am kind of apprehensive about it. It just brings back a lot of anxiety.

༘⋆ - WEDNESDAY: no one in this world could be a better representation of the scorpio sun other than wednesday addams. i am on cloud nine to have it be canon, as her birthday is set to be november 13th in the series. although, i must add that i suspect her being a scorpio rising too, as her love for all things black and gore and her overall appearance is definitely a dead giveaway. the sun and rising conjunction indicates that her public image is a reflection of who she really is - she might have her guards up, but she’s not masking her truest self. in other words, wednesday accurately presents herself to the world. wednesday, as most scorpios, is quick witted yet cold in most situations. she is not easily swept off her feet, but as any other water sign, she’ll be absolutely devoted to you once you earn her trust.

༘⋆ - ENID: our lovely werewolf girl is definitely giving me cancer sun vibes - she might second guess her decisions or be overally clumsy, but you can’t deny that she is the mom friend. enid is a ray of sunshine - she is quite talkative and sociable, and once you two click - she’ll be your bestest bud. she’ll paint your nails, make you snoods to match and banter about the latest nevermore drama. not only that, we have to remember that cancer is ruled by moon - which is something that makes quite a lot of sense and is generally significant to her, considering her outcast species.

༘⋆ - XAVIER: the one and only resident tortured artist is definitely a sagittarius man in my eyes. he seems like quite the jokester and the type of person whose flirting style is roasting & sarcasm. he’s all over the place and quite nosy, giving advices left & right and wanting to be a part of every major event, whether that be you hunting down the hyde by its footprints or visiting the gates’ house. that, however, also indicates the presence of his caring nature, and in some cases, possessiveness. that brings me to the point where i state that he gives me scorpio venus vibes. i mostly see a confirmation of that in his thing for ‘tragic goth girls with funeral parlor fashion sense’. his sag sun also indicates his creativity and love for all things art, since sagittarius, just like the artsy sign pisces, is ruled by jupiter. xavier is very blunt and will not hesitate to call you out on your bs, especially if it involves his ego being hurt (very fire sign man of him). under the facade of the whole ‘life of the party’ persona, there is a darker side to him, which his friend ajax briefly mentions.

༘⋆ - AJAX: when it comes to our stoner boy ajax, there is no doubt that this gorgon guy is a taurus. he is down to earth, laid back and is a person of warm nature. he is basically the epitome of ‘no thoughts, just vibes’. with taurus being ruled by venus, ajax shows up as loving and caring person when it comes to both lovers, friends and family. the stoner boy is a dependable and trustworthy friend, and we certainly see it in course of his conversation with enid, where he reveals xavier’s ‘darker side’ yet still highlights his devotion to the friend. but sadly, as a good old taurus sun, he doesn’t really take hints.

༘⋆ - BIANCA: bianca is unarguably one of the best examples of a female leo sun. this girl is always driven by the exciting feeling of competition and the desire to win, but also has a darker side to her which haunts her on a daily basis. apart from most fire signs, or even leo’s neighboring sign virgo, leos tend to have a lot of insecurities that they compensate for by being arrogant & unapologetically extra. this clearly explains bianca’s behavior, and therefore in my story, she is definitely not the villain. we see that her personality traits were also influenced by her mother’s toxicity, which makes me believe her moon could definitely be in scorpio. her siren powers are both a blessing and a curse - with the help of those, she was able to siren her way into the academy, leaving the toxic environment of ‘morning song’, but when it comes to her platonic or romantic relationships, her powers are often frowned upon.

༘⋆ - TYLER: weirdly enough, when speaking of tyler, i must say that he could be a capricorn sun. moreover, i will have the nerve to say that his sun is definitely in opposition to his moon, thus being in cancer, because it would make perfect sense to me. these two placements indicate his emotional ups and downs and the struggles of his wants and needs. coming from my personal observations, tyler’s mental health state, as well as the neediness and (at some point) fear of abandonment when it comes to romantic relationships, could be easily explained by his sun and moon sign. the teenage boy is always overwhelmed by his thoughts and feelings and is unable to comprehend them. therefore, he is prone to manipulation, and in this case, ms. thornhill’s influence. it is also important to note that such aspect shows a complex relationship with a mother figure, as well as the absence of the father to some extent. that is why i do believe he has this particular astro combination, which gives him a mixture of personalities.

༘⋆ - EUGENE: to end off and complete the holy water sign trinity, it must be said that eugene would probably be a pisces. that kid is absolutely wholesome and has to be protected by all costs, but he completely denies it as he puts his life in danger, striving to accomplish a heroic mission of investigating the hyde’s lair. with his exaggerated sense of a fairy tale romance and never-ending attempts of finding his one true love who would appreciate him for who he is, i suppose his sun sign is conjunct his venus. his genuine friendship with the scorpio sun wednesday could easily explain my choice for his sun sign, as, speaking from experience once again, i am the number one stan of scorpio x pisces friendships.

My brain is short circuiting.

My primary type is psychic. Sabrina was practically my goth awakening at seven years old, and Abra is my spirit animal (immediately teleport away when presented with anything unfamiliar or even potentially threatening). My secondary type is ghost, in no small part thanks to the fact that I started writing "horror" as soon as I could properly hold a pencil ("horror" here meaning silly lil ghost stories that probably made no sense to anyone but me).

I was also the kid glitching out my game with my older brother's game genie trying to catch all the Pokémon ghosts in the tower in Lavender Town because I was so sad that they were lonely, so that should give some insight as to how I feel about ghosts, Pokémon, and ghost type Pokémon in general.

I am not incredibly familiar with Mimikyu or Spiritomb (my last Pokemon games were Diamond/Pearl), but I will be doing research like a proper Pokémon Professor to learn as much about them as humanly possibly. I know more about Mimikyu and frankly the poor bb just wants to be loved and deserves absolutely all of the love.

Pikachu is overrated anyway. I said it and I will fcking stand by it, and Mimikyu's very existence only further solidifies this opinion within me. Brief reading into Spiritomb has, at first glance, enlightened me to the following:

Several Pokédex entries state that Spiritomb was sealed roughly 500 years before the present time. The Pokémon lays curses with its wicked thoughts. It will lash out at anyone with little thought, often exercising short-sightedness in its pursuit of vengeance.

And I am beyond intrigued by every last word of that. Historical ghost Pokémon? Vengeful lil ghost bb? I want one RIGHT NOW—

On an unrelated note, tysm for this, I just had a briefly horrifying moment because my cat made a mad dash out the door as I was taking the trash out. He is back inside and safe now but I almost had a heart attack when he zipped past my feet and into the darkness, and this has helped calm me down so much 😭😭♥️♥️

2. Captain Nemo/Prince Dakkar (Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea)

The gif is from the Disney movie, but my heart belongs to the original novel characterization. Genius inventor who turned his back from society, but not from marginalized people. Good at everything except for not falling down self-destructive spirals. Takes money from sunken colonialist warships and uses it to fund revolutions. Serves as a haunting metaphor as the ocean itself. Please when will we have a faithful adaptation?

3. Thoth (The Kane Chronicles interpretation)

I am specifically going with The Kane Chronicles' interpretation of this Egyptian god. Especially compared to a lot of other interpretations of him in modern media, I like how the book doesn't portray him as this stuffy "everyone is an idiot except me" kind of guy. It's really refreshing seeing an interpretation of a god of knowledge who is clearly scary-powerful and a genius, but is also the ADHD weirdo who keeps getting distracted and can't finish his projects. I also like how he doesn't brush off the protagonists because they're mortals or teenagers or whatever. The book does a great job showing how his brain works and how he thinks, which makes him a lot more effective as a god of knowledge imo. Also they made him relocate in Memphis, Tennessee? After so many British adaptations of him, it's refreshing to see a god of knowledge with a southern accent (if you listen to the audiobook).

It's so good, it almost makes up for the book's interpretation of Anubis.

4. Vivienne (Dragon Age)

I thought for a while about which Dragon Age character I should add. While there are characters I made more stuff about during my peak years in the fandom, Vivienne is the main character I keep going back to. I love her elegance, the way she's written, her voice acting, her look??? Fashion/character design in the franchise peaked with her. Also as far as a Circle character goes, I find her utterly fascinating as someone having to survive in an oppressive system and developing different/conflicting perspectives about it. I think she was a much-needed perspective and I adore her. Also now I was just reminded of the trend of people having their white mage ocs or the other white mage characters "educate" her about oppression and now I'm mad about Dragon Age bs again lol. Vivienne is the best choice for divine don't @ me.

5. Dale Cooper (Twin Peaks)

I've rewatched this show (the main series - haven't gotten around to watching the new show) and every time I find more reasons to love him. He could have so easily been this brooding cynical noir type, but instead he's this ray of sunshine who sees the beauty and joy in everything around him. I'm glad he's okay :)

6. Shaolin Fantastic (The Get Down)

Putting aside my heartbreak over this show's cancellation for a second to talk about how good the cast is. I thought about choosing Zeke, but I couldn't not choose Shaolin. I love how he's introduced as this mysterious genius who was willing to fight a man in an alley for a record, but then the main crew gets to know him and he's a huge dork? He takes care of pigeons, he samples the Star Wars theme in his DJ sets, he's nice :) Also the cool big brother vibe he has with the younger characters is really cute. It would suck if this show got cancelled so the story will always end with him being forced to go back to his abuser :) that would suck.

7. Nozomu Itoshiki (Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei)

I think he's funny and pretty and I hope he gets therapy.

8. Bella Goth (The Sims)

Weird to add a Sims character maybe, but not doing so would be a disservice to the chokehold this woman had on me as a younger player. 10 year old me broke my copy of TS2 because I fucked up the game files by trying to get Bella back.

9. Benny (Fallout: New Vegas)

I knew I had to pick a FNV character. I considered Silus, since he's interesting for a Legion character. But in the end I went with Benny. He has the best aesthetic, and his evolution from "the guy who shot you and instigated your protagonist's whole plot" to "pathetic little guy who agrees to help you take down the system because everyone sucks--and also he's into feet" is some masterful character growth.

10. Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold (Once Upon a Time)

This show is a mess, but the scene where he beats that man with his cane was kinda hot. Also you can't make a man 1. the most powerful force in the universe, 2. somehow still pathetic, 3. have that hairstyle, 4. trying to be a good father and partner but always failing because of his own selfishness, and 5. Scottish, and not expect me to enjoy him. Robert Carlyle put his entire rumpelstussy into that performance.

My thoughts in no particular order:

Okay so, they answered The Question, and their answer is, 'There's no such thing as being Force Sensitive. Using the Force is like any other skill in terms of people being able to learn, just some possess a natural or early aptitude and some do not. In the same way many (most?) Art Schools wouldn't accept an applicant who has never once attempted a single bit of art, so the Jedi Order only sought out those with obvious talent from an early age.'

This tracks with Ahsoka's comment to Din that if Grogu simply stopped using the Force he would gradually forget how; likewise, not speaking a language or using a skill causes it to atrophy, and re-acquiring it can be difficult.

I'm back and forth on this. On the one hand you can argue Lucas always intended this because you'll notice in the movies proper the term Force Sensitive NEVER ONCE comes up. It's always 'strong with the force' or 'the Force is strong in my family', the same way you'd talk about a family where the parents and kids and grandkids all go into music or something. The concept of it being a Special Thing Someone Has or Doesn't Have is a later bit from the Extended Universe, and was arguably never once canonized.

On the other Lucas never really decried the concept of Force Sensitivity and in fact the midichlorian BS almost made it worse. Except even then he talked about it like 'everyone HAS midichlorians, some just have more than others'. So again with the concept of natural aptitude vs. learning it from nothing.

And on my third hand which I lost in Avengers: Endgame I can get why some people are upset by this development, because it implies well literally ANYONE can be out here using the Force. Does that make any sense?? And I agree it's a bit messy in the world building, because I cannot in fact use amazing artistic skills to literally mind control someone into letting me off without a speeding ticket. (Well, okay, maybe I could, but there's way more steps involved than 'Officer please fuck off' and him just doing it.)

My day absolutely sucked today! Firstly my hair looked like ass than NONE of my friends in my class were there so I was a loner is my classes than I had this dutch test (I'm Dutch) but we only had 30 minutes and I really needed to do good because on my last Dutch test i had a 4,8/10. Than I had pysichs (don't know how to spell it) and that felled like 5 hours (thank god for my AirPods. I also goth two grades back both 5,5/10 for the pre exams thing I told you about. BUT my mother is really strict in my school so everything under a 6/10 she sees as failed so I was really scared to tell her about it and also the other two subject I really failed.

Than like a hour ago my mom finds out about my my grades and she got really mad (like you always got good grades when you were younger!) and than my dad also got mad so I cried (in my room hell no I'm gonna cry in front of people) and tomorrow I have another test and I'm scared to fail that one.

And the thing that gets me mad about that is that I'm almost always top of my class but they don't care about that no they only care when I do one bad thing so now if I get a bad grade myself I don't even care about it I just get scared how they will react. And than they tell because I'm so "privileged" they will take away things like my phone and tv.

Sorry for the vent I just wanted to tell all this to people I don't really know and stuff you don't have to post this I don't really care but if you do post it please tell me if I'm overreacting on the last part

there is a VERY big difference between coursework when you were a lil kid and coursework when ur in high school or college (im assuming ur in high school?)

OF COURSE the stuff you're learning is gonna get harder as you move up a grade, OF COURSE, ur grades aren't gonna be the same as it was when you were a lil kid, WE WERE DOING BASIC MATH AND HAD LIKE, FOUR FUCKING SUBJECTS TO FOCUS ON unlike now where our math now has letters and we got 6+ subjects to study and do assignments for (on top of working or other extracurriculars we got).

My boyfriend's birthday was yesterday and I didn't know if I'd be welcome, since his mom loooves to exclude me, so my parents and I planned a little party for him at my house the night before.

I spent a good $300 on his gifts, decorated the house in black and red streamers, black and red balloons, happy birthday banners, I custom designed and ordered him a beautiful cake myself - he's goth, and has expressed that he always wanted a black cake and I made that happen for him - and my parents and I took him to dinner. I was so excited and happy to go back to my house after taking him to a restaurant he's never been to, seeing the look on his face, having a fun celebration...

And know what that EVIL 🐍 of a mother of his did?????? Ruined it. She took that away from me.

She knew I'd throw him my own party and she guilt tripped him, telling him before we picked him up to take him to dinner that she expected him home right after the restaurant because "they wanted to sing happy birthday and blow out candles with him"...

....his birthday was yesterday. She knew.

It was another power play, her controlling the situation and pulling the strings. We went to my house for like what, maybe 10 minutes? All that hard work i did and effort was for nothing. And he didn't even have a slice of cake, he took it home. We felt so foolish for getting it out with special plates and everything...

Actually the point of me getting him such a small 5" cake was because when he got me a cake they wouldn't even let me take mine home and they pulled that stunt on me where they all got into it when he and I left and lied to both of us about what happened to it. "It fell on the floor" BS If i can't have mine, they can't have his. Screw them! But anyway.

She knew and made up a lie, a ploy to get him back home instead of letting him spend time with me and she couldn't just leave us alone for one night.

I feel really, really hurt and disrespected. She knew exactly what she was doing, trying to steal my thunder. I'm crushed. I've never done anything like this for anyone, and I was so excited hoping to surprise him, wanting him to enjoy this and that sneaky fucking snake bitch lied to him saying they were doing cake tonight and were waiting for him.

So, I helped him carry all his stuff inside when we got back to their house and ???

They weren't waiting for him, they didn't even say hi to us, they were all just lazing on the couch in their own little world, checked out on their phones. And there was no cake.

AND they didn't go out to dinner. On his actual birthday. They're waiting until the WEEKEND.... aka when HE AND I always spend time together, what we can work out since our schedules don't align. WTAF?! It's her trying to manipulate things.

I feel so disrespected in such a big way. This was all very personal and I'm on fire. I feel sick to my stomach.

I did this great huge thing for his birthday, I put all my love heart and soul into it and she had to completely ruin that too and I just feel annihilated. Unbelievable. I know it's just an intimate little surprise party, but it was big to me and I'm heartbroken. I'm so let down and just. idk. I hate her so much. He told me his past girlfriends wished death on her and honestly I 100% see why.

So they're just staying home tomorrow and I'm allowed to come over. His dad asked me if i'm coming. So I played dumb and innocent, "Oh, I'm allowed to come? I wasn't sure if i'd be invited." Even my poor BF didn't know WTF was going on when we went back to his house and nothing was happening. She got one over on us. She couldn't stand the thought of me getting a single moment of joy or a chance to celebrate him the way I planned, so she had to swoop in and ruin it with her petty power games. She’s scared that my celebration would outshine whatever she does, and she can’t handle that, so she had to guilt-trip him with that nonsense about blowing out candles and singing tonight when his birthday isn’t even until tomorrow. And it was a complete LIE. If you’re gonna steal the spotlight, at least have the decency to put on a good show. ‘Cause that performance? Kinda sad.

She predicted I would do something special because she knows me well by now and that I treat her son like a king. She guessed, and doubled down on her bullshit to make sure it wouldn't happen. Her tactics are getting increasingly sneaky and insidious because she knows I can play the long game too, and she's switching up.

Really, though... I just feel so hurt and crushed right now.

He has an early warehouse job and he does have to be asleep by 9 p.m. because he gets up at 2 a.m. so he gets 5 hours of sleep each night, which is reasonable and understandable and that's why his family wanted to "blow out candles with him". She used this information to her advantage, and we were both blindsided.

The next day, I found out that she waited until I was gone, stole my cake, pretended she did everything herself and did the honors without me being a part of it... and didn't even save me a slice, or a breadcrumb. Ummm, who does that? it would've been SO EASY to let me be a part of the cake moment while I was actually there. like, the normal, decent thing to do, right? But NOOO, she had to make it personal, turn it into a petty power move and deliberately make sure I wasn't a part of it. That's the thing. She didn't want just want to enjoy the cake, she wanted to exclude me, and that's what makes it so shady and calculated. Waiting for me to leave. that was so hurtful. This was about control and her making me feel sidelined. She needed to make sure I wasn't there so she could have what was supposed to be MY MOMENT for herself. She had to find a way to make me feel excluded and powerless to remind me she's the one calling the shots and not me. By waiting until I was gone to get into MINE AND MY FAMILY'S CAKE, she made a calculated move to erase my presence. And it's not just about the cake, it's about the message behind it.

This is about what she did to me, personally.

Oh, and on his actual birthday? He and I went to the tattoo shop he used to work at to get him a few small tattoos he designed himself, so at least I could have a private moment with him she couldn't take away from me. But when we went back to his house and I walked in, she didn't greet or even acknowledge me, brushing past me with the cold shoulder like I wasn't there... and then being all sweet and addressing me when she brought out 2 cake ball platters, one for his brother and one for him and we sang happy birthday with candles.

So, being the petty brat I am, I took 6 home for me and MY family for our troubles. A cake for a cake for a cake. Then I posted them on Facebook today with the caption "My family and I LOVE a good dessert!" with the song Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift. She'll get the message and feel the burn.

I'm invited to the restaurants tonight and tomorrow night for my boyfriend and his brother, when I was excluded and not welcome to his birthday last year, but I'm not going. It's not about not wanting to be with my boyfriend, it's about self respect. After what his mom did to me, I'm supposed to sit there like a fool and be an accessory? Yeah, no thanks. I'm watching Gilmore Girls with my mom. Let my absence send a message. If his mom wants to play games, then fine. I've got my own rules now.

Next time I see my boyfriend, I'm going to tell him how the surprise party incident hurt my feelings and his mom took that from me, and he let her and that's not okay. There's a lot more context to this and he's a child abuse survivor, she's a narcissist and I know how victims are conditioned and sometimes blind or immune to the toxicity so I need to help him see what's really going on.

Oh, and the cherry on top? She cropped me out of all the photos when she posted them online. Way to literally erase my presence.
