The sister had no part in my evil scheme so I sequestered her off safely to meditate outside while I set Pam up. I saw the house had a fireplace. So i laid a rug in front of it. As if destiny sided with me, Pam lit the fire place. The whole thing would have worked itself out, and I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for that meddlin smoke detector! I failed to get rid of them and her stupid life was saved by stupid firemen. Ok, trying again. Failed. Rug didn't catch and the fire went out. Attempt number 3. The old tv dinner. I place a tv dinner in the oven. She walked off herself as sims are wont to do. But when the action to check it queued, i just deleted it. As expected, the stove caught fire. As expected, she panicked and danced in front of it with no clue what to do. Took a while and most of the kitchen, but she finally burned to death. Ahh hahahaha... Ahhhhh hahahaha... AHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA! #sorrynotsorry. Now that Gabe was free to pursue, I sent Veronica after him like a hungry baracuda. The first date they were supposed to be on, Veronica was just a moment too late making because god forbid she try to knock the stank off her ass. Being stood up was apparently not one of Gabes fetishes. So he's furious with her. In order to get rid of fury, you can wait it out or get strawberry juice. But in the time it would have taken to grow mouthwatering strawberries if even possible, the fury would have disappated on its own, and a great deal of friendship. Since community gardens are a staple in my sims games, and I had a plantsim at my disposal, I switched back to greenman, had Rose buy a small property and spent the better part of a seaon turning it into a garden of delicious produce that my sims can access at leisure. I then sent Gabe to pick strawberries, sent him back home to make juice, and get the fuck over it. I switch back to Veronica, and invite him over, where i discover those two are super attracted to each other. 3 bolts. They become infatuated that night, and fall in love a few days after. I moved them in as both now want to marry. Only with the two of them and a teenager, the house is cramped. So I left to build them a house. I think I got a little carried away. I wanted them to have a big house on a big lot to be a generational house. But it's over 100,000 simoleons. And I didn't even include a basment or attic. I think it's the furniture and decorations. I may go back and remove most of it, leaving only the essentials. Besides the community garden, another thing I like to do is have a few essential businesses. Like a flower shop, robot and toy shop. A library that uses the bookcase reward item for the teaching profession. This way I don't have to cheat to get that in my households. But I need community skilling unlocked. I also like to make my own dorms at colleges and improve the community lots there by getting rid of the goddamned grills that designers love to place in every fucking lot in the game. Unless it's a park, I don't know why they have to be there. Why does a flower shop need a grill? Or a grocery store? All grills do is create headaches as sims cook up hot dogs and burgers and then proceed to serve them all over the place, killing the environment in the process. Instead of grills, I use vending machines that make way more sense. I also like to have public pools that cost money to swim in, and even nature spas just for getting sims to chill out. I built this one lot called Nirvana once that was surrounded by snap dragons, rewards statues, hot springs, massage tables, and meditation areas that were covered in snap dragons. Plus, I put out a juice bar using the juicer that was stocked with strawberries and lemons. If my sims mood was bad or they were stressed out and their aspirations waning or red, sending them to the retreat would get them right as rain. Since Jason and Rose were the gardening types, I decided to have him purchase the flower shop and stock it with flowers. I usually make these for the snap dragons but i like to provide all the flower types for decoration and gifts as well. And last but not least, a beautiful retirement home for my elderly sims. This may come in two flavors. A retirement center with a single sim who runs it, and is like a dorm for elderly. I have a rich common area, individual rooms with double beds should they be married, and an activity place with hobby items. The sim who runs it does the cooking, the repairs, pays service sims, and all the money comes from merging households. The second flavor is retirement communities that take place in custom subhoods, where retirees live in private apartments or rented houses. Whichever one I go with depends on how many playables I juggle at any given time. I also play households by season and then switch to the next. While not open world like Sims 3, I prefer it that way. Sims still grow up together for the most part. This will my first experience playing premade sims.
