Since people on insta are super behind on my OC lore, because I hate how I have to go about sharing lore dumps over there bcause it is very image based unlike Twitter and Tumblr) and people dunno about Bitterbat not having a singular mother or the fact his creation was a sort of group effort (which I still cannot unsee as those halloween based gummy candy maker toys from the 2000s)

And it's really sad to look at baby Bitterbat and how people would expect him to have a loving mother who makes sure he doesn't cry and is well fed when in reality, the closest thing he had was his father after the other Monstrums that made him left as soon as the deed was done.

And even then, Lord Vile never saw him as a baby or even a child, only a future weapon who still needed more time to develop.

A little creature that he would just pass on to the servants to keep him fed and keep him alive and whenever one would alert the king that he's crying, he would just tell them "Let him cry, he'll tire himself out"

So there would just be times babybat would sob and sob and no one would come. Servants used to even when Lord Vile said to ignore him but one he found out, he forbid people stepping in because he didn't want anyone to make him "Soft". He didn't want his son to be babied even if he was still a baby.

And while Bitterbat can't really remember those early years, like many of us can't, he can remember feeling an extreme loneliness. Just the saddest times of his lives where he was completely helpless like he didn't exist. He sometimes has nightmares about him crying and no one coming. No Flavor Four or Sweetheart. Just him alone with no one to hear him.

It's why when he and Sweetheart start their family, he is RIGHT THERE the second he hears a sob or sniffle from one of their kids.

Sweetheart will come into the baby room and see Bitterbat already there cradling one of the pups that was sobbing. It's almost like a reflex with how quickly he jumps to console one of them. But it's because his body remembers how it feels to cry and beg for help and have no one listen to you.

1. I've been a DM stan for five years and had my hair cut and dyed like Martin's for the past three years.

2. I've identified with androgynous before realizing I was trans and still do. It's very much a part of my gender and my gender presentation.

3. Currently learning Russian. Been stopping and starting for years but I have a grasp on the language. I know/am learning a few others as well.

4. I use to work at a pet store and because of this grown to love fish and birds more than I thought I would.

I remember one day my therapist and I were talking about that and I got that first spark of inspiration. What are your favorite aspects of your current muse: Probably the unapologetic but well-founded apathy. Caren’s so opinionated and can carry out conversations like a true, in-depth potential serial killer. You can spot the flaws in her logic, the immature impulsivity pending to be cultivated as she grows up. She’s honestly going to be a nightmare woman if she keeps down this path, that I can guarantee. But for now, she’s a spoiled child and when I write her sometimes I like to think one can see the threat of the monster growing inside her head. What’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing: Music and movies. Scenes from movies, characters, their voices, an atmosphere, it could be anything. I’ll have to add real life experiences to that though, too, because sometimes I just live a moment and when I think back on it I feel inspired to mold it differently in my imagination and write about it (Big Fish style ;3) Favorite types of threads: Definitely horror. I like angst and fluffy stuff but with Caren this is kind of hard to do. The biggest struggle in regards to your current muse: Intelligent/cunning muses are always a struggle to portray because I keep doubting myself. Also speech gives me a few issues because English isn’t my first language and I make some grammar mistakes sometimes or lack the right wording so I kind of have to be very careful and picky with my words and that can be a little annoying or interfere with my writing flow. And also my attempt to get a realistic grasp on Caren’s personality disorder, which requires constantly looking up things and studying from many different resources. Best experience: A 2-3 month long RP on Fanfiction.net. It was so beautiful, the plot was amazing and I still miss my partner ;-;

4. MUSE PREFERENCES

Female or Male or NB: I don’t really care much and most of my muses don’t either.

Multi or Single: Depends on the kind of muses and the story I want to play. Some of them are better off alone while others are in absolute need of escort in order to function.

5. WRITING PREFERENCES

Fluff, Angst, or Smut: All of them with an obvious preference for angst. I love horror/adventure type RPs as well. It’s hard to make me enjoy fluff but there’s been instances where my partner was so excellent and I had ‘bonded’ with our muses so it would work fine. I’m not one much for smut but I don’t mind the occasional one as well, though I do try to give it a little spice and context as plain descriptions of sex do not interest me.

Plots or Memes: I think plotting is essential for Arcs and larger threads, but at the same time memes can be very useful to initiate first interactions if used correctly. I have started some really interesting threads through a meme in the past and definitely appreciate them.

Long or Short replies: Medium is most comfortable for me. I don’t pay much attention to things like that, though. Just as long as it’s not a one-liner and gives me something to work with, it’s an okay reply.

Best time to write:  Early in the morning or just before bed (both most inconvenient times for my schedule lol)

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?

 In some ways. I’ve never made a ‘sona’ or any OCs that were similar to my personality. The closest I have come to sharing some traits with my muses is with these guys here. I’ve kept them for such a long time that they inevitably inherited some of my traits and interests. And they’re honestly my favorite muses I’ve ever made ;-;

general opinions: Watcher: Very good Original Character, the world original highlighted with 20 different markers and put in giant bold glitter text. I love his attitude, I love his appearance I even mcfreaking love his voice claim it’s just so suiting! I’d seen your blog around ever since I first joined the fandom but only now mustered the courage to poke you and you know what, I don’t regret a minute of it.

 I feel like Watcher is pretty 3-dimensional which is also extremely hard to find in OCs. This is probably because you’ve been playing him for a while but he feels extremely multi-faceted and I look forward to interacting with him more in the future!
