El vuelo se retrasó a causa de algo extraño en la pista de aterrizaje, era casi la media noche del once de octubre y ansiábamos el regreso a casa. En la sala de espera nos reconocíamos quienes participamos esta semana en la Industrial Transformation Mexico (ITM) de #Hannover_Messe en León; unos éramos visitantes, otros expositores.
Mi esposa, mi hijo menor y yo, quienes integramos la nueva agencia de conexión empresarial @Meetbuyers, veníamos rendidos, cansados de caminar por los pasillos de la exhibición, pero satisfechos con lo que logramos en este viaje de promoción.
Nuestros principales logros incluyen la conexión con la oficina del gobernador del estado de California, específicamente con la oficina de promoción del comercio internacional (Go-Biz); la Asociación para el Avance de la Automatización (A3), quien nos había solicitado con anterioridad organizarnos juntas de negocios para uno de sus afiliados; el acercamiento, aunque fuera de la expo, con la Asociación de Proveedores Industriales de Mexico (APIMEX), con quienes establecernos lazos de colaboración para la globalización de sus afiliados.
Adicionalmente, nos presentamos con empresas mexicanas y extranjeras quienes para nuestra satisfacción, percibieron nuestros servicios como una solución atractiva para sus negocios, especialmente la participación en exposiciones internacionales y la conexión empresarial (B2B).
Nuestro primer servicio de #B2B fue realmente exitoso, atribuible a nuestra comprensión del producto, la definición del perfil del prospecto -por parte del cliente-, y nuestra habilidad para localizar las empresas que coinciden con el perfil.
En León, nuestro esfuerzo para un B2B fué relativamente poco. Descubrimos que el empresario del Bajío es muy receptivo a las oportunidades. No descartan ninguna presentación comercial, son muy hospitalarios y sugieren otros negocios para visitar. Para nuestro cliente, nos enfocamos en convocar integradores de equipo industrial automatizados con necesidad de computadoras resistentes a ambientes hostiles. Para nuestra satisfacción, las tres citas que organizamos resultaron provechosas pues en cada una hubo tal interés que nuestro cliente recibirá una orden de compra en el corto plazo, y las otras dos se perfilan como distribuidoras.
La ITM es pequeña aún pero ha crecido desde su primera edición en 2019. Este año, la exhibición contó, según IGECO, la organizadora, con 275 expositores. Anuncian que la expo es visitada por más de veinte mil compradores, un dato importante para considerar nuestra participación en la siguiente. Para el propósito de nuestra agencia, pensaría en B2Bs, si decidimos regresar y hacer algo grande para la industria local el próximo año.
La aerolínea anunció el abordaje a nuestro vuelo 4187 con destino a la ciudad de Monterrey. Era un vuelo completo para un Airbus A320 CEO, lo cual indica que éramos ciento ochenta y seis pasajeros. Los pasajeros ya no tenían ánimos de charlar; se sentaron y cerraron sus ojos, minutos después dormían relajados mientras volaba nuestra nave hacia su destino final.
El vuelo de León a Monterrey es corto. Apenas alcanza la nave a la altura de crucero cuando ya es tiempo de descender. Al menos esa es la impresión para un vuelo de una hora y minutos, muchos de los cuales los pasamos sobre la pista y en la compuerta. Está vez, tuvimos que esperar más de lo programado: un pasajero debió recibir primeros auxilios. Para cuando al fin pudimos salir del avión ya era el sábado.
