The thud of our backpacks full of weapons and tech from SHIELD was harsh in the safe house. Or should I say safe apartment? Bucky and I were back in Romania on a mission because some HYDRA dumb-nut was fucking around. It was day 9 of day-long watch-outs for this man. So much walking and hiding and climbing, I was exhausted. So was Bucky, who had decided to take a stroll through the village not far from the apartment.

Yawning and stretching, I decided to get in my pjs and grab a drink. I grabbed a blanket from the bedroom and brought it to the couch with me, snuggling up with it and my drink as I flipped through channels of the TV. Seeing my favorite movie was on, one that didn’t scare Bucky, October Sky. It was the very beginning so I caught it at the right time.

Luckily, not even ten minutes later, Bucky walked through the door. I heard him in the hall with those heavy ass loud boots he wears.

“Hey, doll. Whatcha’ watchin’?” He asks, toeing off the boots and rustling the bag he brought in. He made his way to the kitchen and was messing around.

“October Sky! You should watch it with me, Buck. What’d you get?” I turned my attention to him for a few short seconds, seeing him get out a bowl, a knife, and some forks.

“Some plums, thought we deserved a treat after a long week.”

I hummed and turned my attention back to the television. Soon, he joined me on the couch. He sat at the opposite end, one leg on the couch as he held the bowl up in the air.

“C’mon, doll. Cuddle with me and we can watch together. I’ll share the plums.” He patted the spot in between his legs, I just rolled my eyes before moving, setting against his chest. The next couple minutes were full of shuffling as we got comfortable under the blanket, the bowl of plums in my lap as his arms were around me.

“Thank you for plums, Buck.”

“Anything for you, doll.” He kissed the top of my head.

also once again sorry for the delay i’m a college student but i’m getting to all my drabbles :)

I tossed and turned and tossed and turned all night long. It was another sleepless night. The third in a row because my lovely boyfriend had been out doing his own thing.

Well…sorta. It’s not his own thing because the Avengers and SHIELD are making him do some sort of community service but like for a different world. My world. I’m an ex agent who fell in love with the god. Thor was able to get the Avengers to, at the very least, he okay with the idea of me leaving Midgard.

I paced the halls of the expansive castle in my exquisite nightgown, trying to buy time until the sun rose and I could busy myself while I waited for Loki.

“Darling, you must stop all this pacing. You’re going to worry yourself.” A voice sounded from the dark corridor. A familiar voice. His voice. Before he knew it I was jumping into his arms.

“Loki! I’ve missed you! You have to take me with you next time,” I mumbled the last part into his neck.

“Oh yeah? Why’s that?” He pulled his head back to look me in the eye, quirking an eyebrow at me.

“I can’t sleep without you,” I pout. “I need you in bed with me.”

“That’s very curious, you know that. It must be a midgardian thing. That one bird man with the arrows mentioned his wife was similar,” He chided, carrying me to our bed and laying me on it. He towered over me as I laid there, watching him use his magic to undress himself for bed.

“You know why it is, right?” I asked quietly as he got into bed, pulling me into his chest and under the covers.

“Tell me, my love,” He hummed wrapping his arms around me.

“It’s because I love you.” I press a kiss to his chest.

“That’s the reason I have trouble sleeping when I’m away as well. I feel so connected to you and loved by you. I missed you, darling.”
