Sokka and Azula are two so incredibly smart people. Arguably the two smartest characters in the show.

Sokka has contributed to some of the greatest inventions of his time, like vehicled that travel in the air or underwater.

Azula has managed to conquer a city that none of her forefathers could take down, without spilling blood, all through brilliant plans.

Sokka has mastered two complex fighting styles, one being swordsmanship, that he mastered in a couple of days and the other being the use of the boomerang, that requires great knowledge and understanding of physics.

Azula has such an admirable understanding of politics that in just the age of 14, she was a well respected member of her father's council and her advice and ideas were taken into serious account.

With all that being said, I genuinely, wholeheartedly believe that this is how arguments between those two geniuses look like:

Sokka: "Uh-huh!"

Azula: "Nuh-uh!"

Sokka: "Uh-huh!"

Azula: "Nuh-uh!"

Sokka: "Uh-huh!"

Azula: "Nuh-uh!"

Sokka: "I hate you!"

Azula: "I hate you more!"

Sokka: "You're face is stupid!"

Azula: "I don't like your hair!"

Sokka: *le gasp*

Azula: Wait, no, Sokka, I'm sorry!

Sokka: How could you?!

Azula: It's just slipped out, I didn't mean it!

Sokka: Friendship over.

Azula: But-!

Sokka: FRIENDSHIP OVER!!

Literally anyone else: ...So should I order that pizza we were talking about or what?

I know it makes a lot of sense to think of Azula as a good Pai Sho player, cause it's strategy and shes very smart snd all, but please consider this. Azula sucks at Pai Sho. In fact, she's even as bad as Zuko, NOW, i know what you're going to say, but please consider the following:

-Zuko and Azula bonding postwar for their common hate towards Pai Sho

-like in one of Zukos visits to his sister in the mental hospital, he brings the game

-and Azula being like oh shit not this, but trying for Zuko

-And Zuko pretending to enjoy it for his little sister

-and then they start playing

-and since both of them are absolute shit at it they don't know the other doesn't know what they are doing

-until one of them breaks. Probably Azula, believing Zuko is winning

-and she being all like, you know what? I let you win cuase i dont even like this fucking game

-and zuko being all like 👁️👄👁️

-"i thought you liked it. Thats why i brought it"

-clown to clown communicstion happens

-And then they start mocking it and complaining over how boring it is

-but then, Azula starts bonding iver with Sokka and her uncle cause she wants to best Zuko at it

-cause Zuko is better than her

-(after all, his unlce taught him in the ship for tree years)

-so Azula comes to sokka like, help me beat your boyfriend in Pai sho

-and ofc Sokka doesn't say no (cause I love Sokka/Azula potential friendship)

Anyway, the fire siblings hate pai sho, pass it on
