Got tagged by @orime-stories, thank you! 10 songs shuffled from a playlist it is. It's just my normal likes playlist cause frankly none of my own playlists is even 10 songs long. xD I just hear a song that fits really well and make a playlist that becomes at most 4 songs long until I forget about it again.

Lemon Drop - Ryaynes (Honestly that song slaps. My most played song 2023 and well on its way for the spot again.)

Holla - Faun (A german ballad about the fairy tale Frau Holle, in ennglish apparently called Mother Holda)

Daughters of Darkness - Halestorm (Nostalgia for me, that was my blast when I was like 13)

World of Stone - Blackmore's Night (Another nostalgic song and one of my introductions to folk type music)

So Incredible - Stevie Hoang feat Aziatix (Fairly standard pop from my childhood)

Unbreakable - Fireflight (Yes I was that kind of teenager)

The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun - Celtic Woman (Excellent song and even more excellent obsession material for Pillars of Eternity fans)

I just want to say that you brightened my day by sending in an ask! Let’s see:

42) What do you believe is the answer to life, the universe, everything?

The answer to life... good friends, good food, good times, and good tunes.

79) What do you do to relax and unwind?

To relax, I sometimes put a blanket down in my front lawn and listen to chill wave music and read/ watch the clouds, or if it’s raining I sit on my porch and color while I listen to the rain.

80) Favorite places to hang out? Outside of the home that is, because really, that should be the ideal place by default.

In Cullowhee: The Lookout/ Jackson County Airport, Jack the Dipper, outside of the Starbucks on campus, and the smoker table at Reynolds dorm.

In Atlanta/ Jonesboro: REYNOLD NATURE PRESERVE, Barnes and Noble, BobaTheory, EastWave Fusion, Woodruff Park, and any other park with swings.

81) What RPG class would you be? Video games count too.

I would probably be a Red Mage, Elemental, Conjurer, or something in the Rouge class, like Thief or a Shadow.

82a) Play any instruments?

Not really, I’m a vocal musician. However, I can play melodies on a piano if you give me the sheet music.~

I would love to learn to play the ukelele, drums, and fully learn the piano.

Nothing Compares to You

Genre: slice of life, slight angst Word Count: 867 Summary: Even though many days will passed me by, but I'll still mourn and grieve for the loss of a loved one. It's because you were the loved one that I loss too early while you were still young and had so much that was still ahead for you. I'll remember you and know that to me, nothing compares to you.

Warning: if you’re not up for it, then please don’t read even if it has been almost two years now.

this was inspired by AZIATIX’s Nothing Compares to You and i had this written back in 2015, but like Chasing You, i didn’t know where to  go with it and it just happened to fit with my feelings at the time for Jonghyun and so now it’s here. other than that, it really lessen my heart and mind and made me get through his death. so yeah, kthxbai, Admin Lia~

Nothing compares to you. You were something that was so out of this world. A refreshing taste. A spark that ignited endorphins throughout my whole being. You were the perfect imperfection to me. No matter what others had said, you ran your own course. You ran when others walked. You walked when others ran. You, you were just you in your own special way that I dearly loved. Because of that I don't know how to actually go on with my life. You made everything exciting, different, weird, and just a bit flustering. Still though if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change anything. Because changing anything of our past meant that it wasn't precious to me or worth a lesson. A lesson of love. A lesson of life. A lesson of just being within the moment and going for it.

Sure you never showed that you were struggling. Never admitted that it was all too hard. Never told anyone that you were just dying inside for someone to save you. You didn't want to burden others. You wanted to help as many people as possible without thinking of your own well-being. You wanted to save me from ever feeling the loneliness and sadness that you had felt. You changed me, but sadly I was unable to help you see towards to tomorrow and your very own future. You spent those final days being in the moment to live life to the fullest. You, you were just being typical you and helped out others who were just like you, but not as strong. You were so strong, yet so very weak when alone.

You had finally succumbed to your own demons. You suffered and cried alone by yourself into the darkness of despair. You were tired and were done waiting. You were ready to go and you hid this side of you so that you wouldn't worried me. You wore your mask well. So well, I didn't think nothing of it. Didn't think anything until it was too late. Too late to save you in time. Too late to save you from doing what you ultimately did. Too late to save you, my dear one, from the fate you thought you believed you deserved. Too late despite all the signs of your cry for help. And for that I am sorry I've missed them and couldn't aid you when you needed it the most.

And now I'm here. Not sure how to go on with my life because your being gone kind of disrupted my flow of life. You, who I always followed. Followed your every steps without hesitation. Followed you with complete trust that nothing wrong was ever going to happen, but something did happened and here I stand. Alone facing the vast world without you by my side to guide me along like you usually would. Honesty though, I really wanted to followed after you. I thought I wasn't strong enough to continue on with my life if you weren't going to be there with me. I thought the pain was too much to bear. I thought that I would never be able to get over you and see towards the days after.

Then on one of those days you came to me in a dream. I chased after you wanting to follow you into the forest, but you told me not to in a stern voice. You told me to turn back and if I didn't then you would be angry with me because I didn't listen to your words. I was about to counter, but you didn't give me enough time to as you just cast me that beautiful smile of yours. It was a happy one that reassured me that you were fine and the next second you ran into the dark forest with a pearl aqua glow that blinded me awake. I didn't know what to make of it honestly, but I guess it was your way to comfort me. Still, I miss you. I want you back. But whatever I say or do won't change the fact that you're not coming back. Ever. And with a long and heavy sigh, I realized without even knowing that I took that small step.

A step forward to the unknown future that awaited me. A journey of my own without you by my side. Although I know I'll learned to deal with the phantom pain of missing you, I won't dwell on the sadness too much and just focus on the good memories that I had made with you. The memories that will help me to move on because you left so many beautiful things behind that will always be remembered even though you're gone. And one day we'll reunite and I'll share with you the new adventures that I've had since you've been gone. I will try to live more. I will try to do more. I will try to just be and not hide anything of myself from others. I will try to achieve that level of happiness for myself. I will be... someone that I can proudly say, "You've done well and nothing compares to you".
