Tbh, I’ve fallen off of DM a little (I’m gonna get back to it… it always comes down to the fans being obnoxiously pretentious about it and being so loud and annoying, especially about the fantasy racism (taking it more seriously than rl racism and putting it on the same scale… uhhhshajs) while being weird about the actual poc within the story while completely infantilizing the white characters… it got weird fast 😭. I miss it though! Farcille is so cute… when Falin was brought in the anime, I teared up because of how emotional the other characters were, especially Marcille… the way she held her and cried, I 😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.

28. The most unnecessary thing they ever did?

I'll never get over his first episode. I love how rude he was to May, especially later on when we learn he doesn't really get close to people at all? Makes his 'I'm going to stand on a ledge to catch a wayward frisbee with my eyes closed all cool-like and then jump down to verbally and physically harass this girl about being bad at a skill she's just starting on' all the more baffling. But I'm glad he did that because we wouldn't have him otherwise :)

30. The funniest scene they had?

He has so many funny quips it's hard to pick a whole scene! But hmm...idk, I think the Spontaneous Combusken one is a classic. May and Roselia ganging up on teasing him and he just gets embarassed and runs away...the boy can dish it out but not take it!

Hi! I just wanted to say that I 100% agree with your recent posts about how tdb*k (platonic, romantic, whatever) doesn't make sense (I once saw a post, i don't remember where, calling it the ultimate misunderstanding of exposure therapy) and that Todoroki would hate bkg if he found out what he did to Izuku. In the same vein, seeing fans write Shinsou and bkg getting along makes zero sense to me. Bkg is literally the definition of a brat blessed with a perfect quirk that shinsou hates so ????

okay but T E A ! i just said something about this in the tags of another post, but when are we going to stop watering down the pre-established characterization of others characters???? i feel like it's already hard to suspend my disbelief enough to think that an entire class (or school/community/whoever the fuck else is interacting with bakugou ever) generally has no problem with bk's behavior, but then we have someone like shouto??????? wanting to be friends???????? with bakugou??????? BAKUGOU?????? like, someone explain this to me because i truly do not understand (i do understand, actually. it's all about remolding the narrative to make space for bakugou because he's a beloved character in the fandom, regardless of how that might damage the quality/telling of the story :/) and i hate it very much

I will say though that I have heard a Belgian argue that the Congo was King Leopold II's personal colony and that's such a cop-out like are you kidding me? Oh it was his personal colony (at first) but it's not like he used clones of himself to control and operate it; he used Belgians. You can't place all the blame for something as massive and atrocious as the Belgian occupation of the Congo on one shitty dude. Where do you think the money for the gold plating in Brussels' Grand Place came from?

Nat: What’s your favorite kind of music?

I like most genres of music, but my favorites would have to be folk, indie, Celtic, and anything with a good bassline. For example, I really like The Oh Hellos, The Crane Wives, and The Duhks.

Lavender! It’s also my favorite color and one of my favorite scents. I like snapdragons too because they’re super vibrant and they have a cool name.

I think it was @azarathianscribbles who brought up in their tags concerning the attitude of the brothers’ Lord Natsuka and Nazukihiko toward their younger sister Fujinami, who they both wilfully ignore because of what she did. (Bc they are ravens shapeshifting to be humans and their intelligence is comparable to that of humans, they hold grudges to those who cheat and unfair to others.) According to the fan book, she’s now stuck in a nunnery recovering, she’s practically alone and wishes that she can see him, talk to him, her own brother, Nazukihiko, who doesn’t give her attention.

At first glance, it is good that both brothers have a close relationship collaborating for the benefit of Yamauchi, but in the long run, this estrangement with their sister will only bring the parties into chaos. It is going to be ugly.
