Blood has been honoured as synonymous to life by Acharya Sushruta, the father of Surgery. Today it’s scientifically proven that blood delivers life to every cell via oxygen and various metabolites✨
Though God graced us all with a self replenishable supply of this fluid of life but some of us aren’t fortunate enough to enjoy this luxury. Certain diseases like sickle cell anemia, thallessemia wherein body fails to produce enough functional RBCs or during surgeries, in trauma cases the blood lost can be critical towards saving that life. . So it’s our moral duty to donate a certain amount of blood from time to time. ~ Our body itself replenishes the donated quantum of blood plasma within 2 days and RBCs within 1 -2 months depending upon the quality of your lifestyle (diet, exercise, mental peace and happiness). ~ Therefore you need not worry about your health after donating the blood. ~ Moreover a check-up is done before donation so as to deem you fit enough for the same. . Jeevan daan, maha daan (The gift of life is the greatest life). You never know how many lives your blood could save 🌺 . Hence today we encourage everyone to donate blood atleast once every 6 months🙏🏻😊 And heartiest gratitude to the people who already are treading this noble path🤍 .

We grew up hearing our ancestors saying that “यह शरीर मिट्टी है और एक दिन उस मिट्टी में ही मिल जाएगा। ” (This body is made of earth and would merge into it when dead). . . . These words are an established truth as quoted in Ayurveda as follows - ~ Entire universe ranging from a microscopic atom to the macroscopic living systems, is made up of five basic elements - Akaash (Ether), Vayu (Air), Agni (Fire), Jal(Water) and Prithvi (Earth). Let’s see a comparative view of their fuctions in an atom and a cell (the functional unit of our body) :- . . . 1. Akash (Ether) - Provides the required space for the existence of 3-D atom or cell . . .
2. Vayu (Air) - Provides the momentum like Revolution of electrons around nucleus in an atom / Exchange of different ions and molecules. . .
3. Agni (Fire) - Agni is energy. The revolving electrons generate energy which is provided by Agni mahabhuta. . .
4. Jal (Water) - Jala mahabhuta has an inherent quality of unctuousness and holding the particles together. In an atom it holds the protons together and also holds the electrons. . .
5. Prithvi (Earth) - It provides stability and mass to every component whether it be an atom or a cell.

. For meditation choose a clean, spot and sit in a comfortable position on a mat. Close your eyes and chant OM for a few times, loud enough to hear your voice yourself and feel the vibes of the mantra relaxing your body and mind. Now slowly start to observe your breath. Try to not stick to any thoughts coming to your mind. Let them come and go flowing like a river . . Peeking anxiety, fear of the unknown and a word of catastrophic consequences ringing in our conscience every second has surely taken a toll on our mental health. Some simple techniques like Pranayam (controlled breathing) and meditation can calm down your nerves alleviating both mental and physical discomfort. . So let’s start off by rising early in Braham muhurat followed by light stretching exercises and meditation
