So first of all, this is her backstory!

So, little spoiler from the background, Locket's mother was an experiment and then killed by Hojo, Locket's father, obviously, anyways, Hojo didn't want to experiment on Starlight, Locket's mother, mainly due to Locket being y'know, a baby, and Starlight being his wife and all, but eventually Shinra found out that Starlight was the last descendant of the angels and ordered Hojo to experiment on her, basically telling him that if she escapes kill her, not even considering Hojo's feelings or Locket's feelings. Of course, Shinra had a plan if Locket ever found out that her father used her mother as an experiment and killed her and such after she escaped, they told him to tell her that it was to put her out of her misery, and for Hojo to take the blame, knowing that it would ruin him and his daughter's relationship for good. Of course, when Starlight escaped, the reason why Hojo ended up running out of the lab so quickly is because he wanted to try and save her from death, but he was unable to. Starlight was killed, Hojo was devastated but had to remain calm and collected, despite his wife, the mother of his own child being literally dead now. He knew, that if Locket had ever found out about this, he would have to take the blame. He never told Locket that she was an angel, the last descendant just like her mother, because he wanted to protect her, he didn't want her to have the same fate Starlight did. So he hid it from her.

The Locket her father gave her when she was small, the bracelet she uses to summon her sword, her sword in general, the Mako green eyes from SOLDIER, her Moogle, Creme, her summon Leviathan and finally, her father, Hojo.

Her views on love:

She finds love to be a little useless most of the times, she sees it as an obstacle that is often times in her way. However, she does have some moments where she wants to feel and be loved by someone. But she tends to shut that part out and block anyone from getting close to her in fear that she might become too vulnerable.

Basic backstory:

Lock was born to Hojo and an unknown woman, she is Hojo's biological child, her mother died when she was only 3 years old due to her father's experimentation upon her after finding out she was one of the last angels in Midgar. Hojo is a mad scientist, working for Shinra Electric Power Company. At the age of 16, Lock joined the Turks in Shinra to help out as much as she could. She learned a lot of scientific skills and research from her father and was trained by Angeal, a head SOLDIER. When she was 10 she became a SOLDIER, but soon after she was moved to become a Turk, leading into her becoming a higher ranked Turk due to her being a previous SOLDIER. Her father is what you would call an 'insane genius' and due to her inheriting those genes, she's one of the smartest and most skilled Turks in Shinra. She works alongside Reno, Rude, Tseng and Elena of the Turks. She does not know that her mother was experimented on by her own father. But you can bet that once she does, she won't like her father very much afterwards. She fights with a sword which holds 4 materia slots, when her fire materia is in use, her sword will light up into bright blue flames. Her father gave her a pendant when she was only so young which holds a materia called a Summoning Materia which holds the summon Leviathan. Leviathan is a water dragon summon. She also has a Moogle who follows her around named Creme, based around one of our alters here, who is also a Moogle named Creme.

Crackhead commentary:

"Cheese is just a concept. A mere figment of our imaginations." Lock spoke with a mocking tone as her friend, Nathaniel stared blankly at her. "What the fuck are you on?" He inquired, folding his arms over his chest as Lock sighs deeply. "Don't you understand, Nathaniel? Cheese.. it's... It's not real, Nathaniel!" Her response causes Nathaniel to glance around the room rather quickly, concerned that she might have had too much to drink. "Are you okay? I honestly have no idea what the fuck you're talking about." Lock frowns deeply, crouching down to the ground, picking a flower up sadly. "Think of the cheese, Nathaniel.. Think of the cheese!" In reply, Nathaniel simply walks away, shaking his head with a roll of his eyes. Surely, Lock was drunk or something along those lines. Either that or she just really cared about cheese for whatever reason.
