Two knits! A crop vest for myself and a full length sweater for my aunt who loves red.

Sadly no pattern as I don't know how to turn my notes into a legible pattern (or know any other flatbed knitters who could test it for me). Please advise!

My answer to this is a little complicated because I don't actually know for sure what name my parents chose for me when I was born. My father's story is that they picked "Siobhan" and some anti-Irish clerk changed it so when they got the birth certificate it said "Yvonne" instead. Not far-fetched in England in the 60s, honestly. My mother claims she searched high and low for a unique name and she picked Yvonne because it was different. (Side story, this spelling is pronounced "Yoni" if you are an Irish speaker and my grandparents were absolutely stumped by this being my name. I didn't even bother telling my parents what I know yoni to mean.) Anyway, long story short, Yvonne is a fine name but it has never been me. I legally changed my name to Siobhan.
