i find it interesting how the discussion around "you can't even make an angry phone call" goes because i still have it in my head that that line got trotted out for the people threatening and claiming to enact OTT violence on their ideological enemies. you know, like, the "if we ever meet irl I'm going to shove your head into a blender"-commenter types. still doesnt make it good to be picking on people w anxiety exactly but like - something something identifying a blatant difference between someone's claims and their actions vs just openly mocking someone's anxiety, you know?

Scenes from organizing my studio. ✨ A big part of my art process is finding inspiration in objects. Their textures, their colors, and especially the mood they evoke, all contribute to building my inner realm where magic, art, and fantasy swirl together. Much like a cauldron, creating this kind of inner atmosphere starts with familiar “ingredients” but allows fantasy to take hold, combining and transforming each small facet into a new “feeling” from which I then draw inspiration. The smallest object can be the key ingredient, sparking the idea that then grows into new artwork. As an artist, the lesson is to never stop feeding your imagination in whatever way feels right for you. Allow yourself to play and, specifically, allow yourself time to play. There are so many realms that have yet to be built within you. 🖤

I hope yall know that I technically have way more WG OCs than I'm letting on. It's that they were either abandoned halfway through the creation process, or they were fully created, but were also abandoned for one reason or another.

Bella Bloodsucker, what amazing art I could've made of you and your majestic bat wings, your ability to hang upside down, or other bat abilties and your backstory, which was both hilarious and angsty, before I choose to abandon you because "their can't be THAT many human-animal hybrids in Fair City". She was amazing, and yet... I abandoned her.

Axe-olotl, the axes you could've thrown, but never did, because you were abandoned.

Comet Skyrunner, oh, they could've been incredible, but they were essentially replaced by Alynxai.

Oh, Apples and Oranges, what a beautiful duo you two could've been, before I ran out of motivation for your characters. In fact, you had so much more potential than I realized- as a fellow supervillain sibling duo, you could've been rivals to Silver Boxleitner and Royal Dandy, which could've been hilarious.

I’m actually so angry my parents just admitted they cut down the apple tree that grew outside my window through childhood…I used to sit in it w the neighbors in the summer and we’d use the apples for apple sauce…we were so excited to get some this year when I come to visit in a couple weeks :( the apple blossoms were always so beautiful in the spring :((
