@oraclesoul: Yesterday they deleted the tag, so it shouldn’t have been showing up anymore. They were really chill and respectful about handling it and taking it off yesterday, it was all resolved quickly

@awritersheart: The post will still show up in Tumblr’s search unfortunately, and sometimes it gets mistaken for being in the tags. Maybe purposefully misspell Lunct so your followers will still know what you’re talking about, but it will no longer show up in the search. That’s why you’ll see people misspell or add slashes like Lun///oct or something, to prevent it from showing up.

(And she was right that we get harassed a lot ourselves, which was something I didn’t think of until after we resolved everything yesterday and I didn’t think it was worth bringing it back up to mention it. But yeah, we get targeted a lot and get our inboxes filled with lunxy stuff a lot, so we can be a bit touchy since we’re constantly dealing with that crap u_u)

Hello! So I start work again and might be more quiet than I have been this past week. Thanks guys for keeping me company over the holiday break. ❤️❤️❤️

Blinded by the truth

​In life, we’ve all gone through situations where we are blinded by the truth. Somehow we don’t have a clear view of what’s going on in our life and we let ourselves be taken over by temptation and all these other things that blind us. I was definitely blinded to the truth at one point. My heart was wicked and deceitful at the moment. I was weak and ignored what God was telling me and I decided to follow my heart. Oh how wicked can someone’s heart be? “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” – Jeremiah 17:9 NIV ​I met a man when I was about the age of seventeen and in my eyes he was completely flawless, everything about him captured my attention. He immediately got me to fall head over heels and it was his sweet words, his good looks and his fake promises that made me think I was “in love” with the right man. When they said that love blinds you they sure weren’t kidding at all. I had many signs right in front of my face telling me why I should have stayed away from this man, but I didn’t. I was stubborn, I didn’t want to listen to what my friends had to say about him and I would just ignore them and most importantly I was blind to the truth that was right in front of my eyes. I didn’t realize that I was about to play with fire and get into a forbidden relationship with a man who was married and twice my age. “There are poisons that blind you, and poisons that open your eyes.” – August Strindberg. I guess that he was more like a poison to me, so beautiful but yet making me completely blind from the truth. I finally opened my eyes to the truth. It took me a while but I realized that he was a married man who had kids. My friends kept repeating to me over and over again that his intentions weren’t genuine. I didn’t know how I could be so blind to something that was right in front of my eyes. I let myself go for temptation and neglected my relationship with God. I realized that I worked so hard for my relationship with God and I felt that I ruined it because of one simple and dumb mistake that I made. Flesh is weak and as human beings we don’t realize this but in order to fight temptation we need God. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against spiritual forces of evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of the truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.” – Ephesians 6:10-18 I was blind. Not literally but I had two eyes that worked perfectly fine and I had the truth right in front of my eyes and I was oblivious to the truth. I’m not even sure how I opened my eyes to the truth but even if it was a horrible truth I would rather be one hundred percent aware of the horrific truth than live in a life that’s based on a lie. “Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.” – Psalm 32:5
