Any Pawniard facts? I would like to own one, so what advice do you have for me to start?

Pawniard Facts

-The scientific name for Pawniard is "similus acutis" which roughly translates to "Sharpened Similar"

-Pawniard live in packs on rocky mountains or badlands, with numbers ranging between 10-30. They're most often led by a Bisharp, and when one evolves, they'll find lone Pawniard of their own to form a pack. Sometimes, female Bisharp will form small packs with their children if they have any

-Because of this dynamic, Pawniard only evolve if something happens to their Bisharp or there are no other Bisharp evolve

-Each Pawniard pack has their own dynamics and cultures. When caught, it can be hard for Pawniard to adjust to Pawniard's of other groups, but it can happen

-Pawniard sharpen their claws by rubbing them on sharp stones. Getting a scratching post for them is advised

-Biologically, Pawniard are omnivores, but in practice, they mostly eat meat. They eat larger prey that they take down with their pack, and their prey can consist of pretty much anything

-Pawniard are very smart pokemon and are capable of using wood and stone to craft various items

-Because of their pack mentality, Pawniard are very clingy pokemon when it comes to their trainers. While they don't show much physical affection (they literally have blades all over their bodies), they show affection by giving food and following you around. Be weary though, because the food they give you can range from berries to a dead dedenne

-When freshly hatched, Pawniard have very soft metals that are sensitive to heat. The other Pawniard will protect them by keeping the young Pawniards in caves or in shade

-When looking for mates, Pawniard will sometimes leave the packs; either to prevent inbreeding or because there's no one in the pack they like. It can be difficult since their mates often come from different packs, so one has to choose to leave the pack to join another, but the new pack might not accept them or their mate. When this happens, the two Pawniard will make their own pack, usually with only one evolving into Bisharp but sometimes, both will evolve. It can be even more dangerous if a Pawniard chooses to court a pokemon of another species as there's a higher chance that they won't be accepted. But, they are accepted sometimes (I once saw a Pawniard pack that included an Illumise, I bet it was a situation like that)

-Pawniards mark their territory by leaving markings on rocks or trees. Each pack has a different marking symbol

-I've been calling them packs the entire time, but a group of Pawniard can be called a board

-Pawniard don't like the Tinkatink like at all as all members of the line attack them for their metals. This hatred runs so deep that pawniard packs will murk any Tinkatink they see, even if they leave them alone

-Bisharp make their homes in caves or at the bottom of large trees. They'll make separate rooms for eating and sleeping

-Despite Galar having a lost history of trying to keep pokemon away from their settlements, Pawniard were viewed highly because of their pack mindset and their unquestionable loyalty to their leader. While many commoners disliked them, as they had dangerous blades and would scratch settlements, Galarian knights were known to have a few Pawniards train amongst them

Irene - Tongues & Teeth by The Crane Wives. Like I mentioned in my last post, Irene is fucked up, and she knows it. She knows the things she does are not okay and down right awful in some cases, she knows shes not a sweet girl like many thinks she is, and she dosent care. Shes a walking red flag telling you shes a red flag. I feel like everytime she meets someone that she gets intrested in (example, the divine warriors) she always comments how she will ruin them if they stay, warning them of who she really is but they never really lisent till it’s too late.

enki - Cassandra by Florence + The Machine. Enki is full of tragedy, thats not even a question. She exists in the cursed form that he is in order to pay for her mothers sins of cannabalism. Not only that but Enki has the ability of being able to look into the future aka being an oracle. No one believes Enki because they(the mass populace of where he lives) think of them as a monster born of evil. Enki has these haunting visions of the darkness in the world, the good, the bad, and no one belives them because of the fact they were cursed. The entire song is just so aaugh and reminds me on Enki so much.

shad - I, Carrion (Icarion) by Hozier. Shad in my rewrite has been becoming a very melancholic person. Someone who wants and longs but cannot give in to those feelings. Someone who is curious from a place of genuine intrest, unlike irenes often cruel curiosity. The song is a love song, its about finding someone who seems to change the world for you, in Shads case it being Irene and then the divine warriors, and wanting to lean on that feeling but knowing that you could also fall because of it, but willingly to balance both possibilities and taking the risk, which is when the start of Shads ‘downfall’ starts, with taking the risk for the sake of love.

esmund - Wait by the River by Lord Huron. from the start of the song, it talks about waiting for someone till you are dead and gone. Esmund is an incredibly loyal man, he lisents to orders and obeys them because of the love he has for the divine warriors. They are his family now. In my rewrite he gets asked to stay behind and protect some people, and he does, but the only person who comes back is Enki.

kul’zak - rule #14 - Fiddler’s Heart. Kul’Zak is, ofcourse, a nomad. He’s never really settled down anymore, not even after he first met irene. The two of them would travel from place to place, Kul’Zak playing his fiddle and instruments like the bard he was and irene joined in, singing with him or dancing to his music all while exploring the different sides of humanity and learning about people and what makes them tick. Kul’Zak is a bard and a flirt, the type of guy who would never willingly settle down with anyone because he would much rather continue to explore till the end of his days.

menphia - burn your village by kiki rockwell. menphia is, for lack of better word, a bad bitch. she is deadly, she is precise and she does not mess around. she is not your martyr, she is not the sacrifical lamb and she makes sure that is clear. menphia is a highly trained killer, and a ruthless one too. she fights for what she wants to fight for, and she’s just as much as a wild card as irene when it comes to trying to figure out her true intentions.

-Braviary is the national pokemon of Unova

-Braviary are naturally defensive and territorial and will attack anything that gets too close to their nest

-Braviary are actually very loyal pokemon, protecting their trainers at all costs and mating for life

-Braviary are quite rare in Unova, as they are all male and the species they mate with the most (mandibuzz) are all female. Braviary in other regions tend to be more common, as they can mate with ditto

-While braviary can hunt for their own food, they sometimes will steal food from other pokemon and have battles over it

-Braviary tend to be more reckless than most bird pokemon

-Braviary mostly eat smaller rodent pokemon and fish pokemon

-Braviary are quite the daredevils and throw themselves into dangerous situations to protect their friends, or just for fun

-Theres many Alolan myths of braviary defending people from horrid beasts

-Galar has tried to make braviary the transport pokemon, but they were too belligerent and hot-headed, so they had to go with corniknight

-This line is related to the Pidgeto line

-The feathers on braviary heads are very fluffy when young, but they get more rough and rigid as they get older

-Scientists theorize that braviary might become fighting types in the future

-Braviary is also called "The Piercing Eye Pokemon" for its eyes that are said that are said to paralyze if you look in them

Care Tips

Braviary are very prideful and brave (reckless) Pokemon, which makes them hard to train for novice trainers. So unless you catch it as a rufflet, it's suggested to only train one if you have experience with other Pokemon.

If given a reliable food source, braviary are self sufficient pokemon who won't need much attention. They might reject any pets you might try and give them, and many trainers confuse this for rejection. But it's actually just out of respect for you.

Considering how much they move around and get dirty a lot, it's important to bathe them regularly. It doesn't matter how you bathe them, but bird baths or showers are really common. Water that's too hot can hurt them, and ice-cold water can make them sick, so keep the water warm.

Similar to a lot of other bird Pokemon, braviary can be very dramatic. You might deal with a lot of screaming and screeching or freaking out over small things. There's not much you can do about this. It's just part of their nature.

They're very reckless in general. If you don't want them to get hurt, make sure they have something to do. Give them toys to play with that are safe so they don't end up harming themselves. Oh! Make sure you have a scratching post for their claws!
