happy mother's day to all of you amazing moms out there on this "hellsite". Y'all truly play one of, if not the most difficult, draining, tedious, internally screaming at times, and overwhelming rewarding roles in this life. The responsibilities, sacrifices, and selflessness you all have accepted, made, and will continue to make only cements my appreciation and admiration towards y'all.

I know, well.. I'd like to to think I understand that being a parent is nothing short of easy; HOWEVER, I hope you know that while others might see you as any ordinary parent, your little peanut, gremlin, ghoul, angel, person(s) [whatever you rightfully choose to refer to them as such😆] see you as their world, their everything, and that's pretty wholesome.

I hope today was a little extra special and y'all received a bouquet of flowers, your favorite comfort food, sweets, and were reminded how much you're appreciated by your loved ones and friends.

i lov planning outfits the same way i love drawing diagrams for rearranging furniture. its plotting and scheming

#I GOT THOSE BROWN CORDUROY SLACKS FOR THREE DOLLARS AT A LOCAL THRIFT STORE IT WAS AWESOME #i love smaller more local thrift places. they are so kind and the prices are so good #im puzzling because my lucy and yak pants are stuck in the post during the strike and i realized i only own 1 pants (grunge jeans)#and i get all excited about what im gonna wear to family christmas stuff cus its one of the few times i get to dress up like. FOR people #i love looking classy and gay in front of my grandmother in law who hates me. its so good. its so epic #AND i love looking classy and gay for the family that will actually compliment me. my mom loves me dressing up #cus i grew up soooo resistant to like dresses and what she wanted me to wear until i figured out im a guyyy #now that im doing my own thing shes very encouraging abt my own sense of style yaayaya i love my moommm #my art tag

i think one of the biggest scams i've seen in my lifetime is the idea that it looks better to have to have all matching mugs, preferably that match your dishes

#i never want to see a dish set come with mugs again #(actually i change my mind i just realized i could give them away as gifts #and my friends would have mugs that match my dishes #but only for fancy dish sets not the soulless ones from walmart)#i trend minimalism and matching aesthetics in real life so i AM the target audience for that kind of thing #and theres honestly nothing i love more than asking my friends about their unique things #and you lose that when you all have soulless matching mugs #my favourite mug is a 20oz thats half glazed and unglazed pottery #reminds me of living in yellowknife with miles and the coffees we made during covid #my previous favourite mug was a gift from my mom #an awesome 20oz mug with a cute downward dog with dog drawing
