Yes, the Avengers of my world are FUCKED. UP.

Same goes for SHIELD, both organizations got corrupted by power and gain- taking government funds and sponsorships of the like.. it was in a LONG in the works tbh. There still viewed as heroes by the public and revered as such but there truly dicks.

The X-Men got disbanded because of the Avengers basically putting them in so much debt, and making the public hate them so much bc they were calling the Avengers out on there bs, that they had to go off the radar. Same goes for F4. I know a couple work for OPAC, which is my universe’s HYDRA but it got a rebrand since we’re the good guys. some from the X-Men and F4 joined.. but most are in hiding or doing work solo- or becoming corrupt.

I know a bunch of them are being harassed by the symbiotes at the moment, symbiotes are a HUGE problem in my universe as well. I should know..

Also in the comics. The young avrngers storyline comes BEFORE Kang. But it seems theyre trying to do both at once they should probably focus om the young avengers forst before getting back to the main

This might be just me but... am I the only one who doesn't care about the Young Avengers at all? I'm not interested in a bunch of kids teaming up and saving the world, it's not something I would be willing to watch especially nowadays with the kind of humour Marvel is known for these days. I can almost hear them being oh so cool and sarcastic and edgy and it makes me shudder. (I'm too old for that lol)

I get the feeling the biggest issue is that they're introducing a lot of new characters but they don't know what to do with them. This would be fine in theory, but if those new characters are taking over from the old ones they've got to write them well. Kate was great in Hawkeye but from what I've read Cassie was forgettable in Quantumania and Wanda's kids were... meh, kind of boring as well. America was okay but she didn't have much to do in MoM. Dunno, it doesn't exactly make me thirst for more.

That's not a new beginning that's just terrible writing choices. Ngl feige's plan to kill the avrngers off in endgame would've made phase 4 not be as dumb. Dang russos

Yes that's what I meant, that most of the time Marvel doesn't do new beginnings and character development, they just take a character, they have them say one line about something traumatizing that has happened to them in the past and voila! they're healed. It's bad writing but the main problem is they're more preoccupied with the overall story of the multiverse saga than they are about characterization.

I guess it's no coincidence that the best stories they came up with in this phase are the movies and series that are separated from the main narrative: WandaVision can stand on its own, same with Moon Knight, those two are character works that don't address the multiverse or the big bad... they're completely focused on Wanda and Marc, they have eps with the characters' background in the spotlight where they get to narrate what happened to them, we get to hear it from them... they're brilliant.

Compare that to the movies and shows that serve as trailers for the saga and you see the difference: the Loki series is not about Loki at all, MoM is all over the place and is not a story about Stephen...

Even what Feige wanted for EG is still pointless. Kill all the Avengers for what, shock value? That works the first time but it doesn't really have any re-watch value, perhaps Matt Damon is right when he says studios don't care about that anymore given that streaming has taken the reigns in recent years and they don't need to sell DVDs anymore.

The optimistic side of me thinks perhaps they will see the criticism and they'll get better in Phase 5 but... my hope is slowly dying, especially after L&T.

they can make an avengers song~

since we know jeremy renner can write song, can sing, even has the skills to perform (piano for sure, maybe drums and guitar too)!

and then scarlett johansson and  RDJ have amazing voice. 

evans and lizzie can sing too~

since the last avengers is next year, i hope the dream can come true! ^ ^

i wont tell you i want jeremy and scarlett making a duet so badly! =P
