So, before I start this, if you are planning on using any of these products, please patch test all of them before you put them on your face. Some of these products are not for sensitive skin.
So, I have combination skin. My t zone is very oily, my cheeks get really dry, and everything else is pretty normal.
My first step is to wash my hands with soap and water. You don't know what could be on your hands.
Then, if I'm wearing makeup, I clean my face with micellar cleansing water. If I'm not, I just use water and a makeup towel.
(Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water: about $7.00)
Every other day, I use an acne cleanser. The directions say to try to use it twice a day but my skin is kind of sensitive. When I don't use my acne cleanser, I use an acne treatment cream. After, I use a thin layer of moisturizer and put a thicker layer under my eyes along with a lip balm.
(Clean & Clear Acne Cleanser: about $5.00)
(Clearasil Acne Treatment Cream: comes in a pack of 3 for about $18.00)
(CeraVe Moisturizing Cream: abouts $6.00)
(Lip Medex Blistex: about $2.00)
Twice a week I do a clay mask. I don't care much for sheet masks because they cause a lot of waste. I always try to try new clay masks all the time but this is the one I'm using now. Also, I do a pore strip twice a week.
(Avon Anew Calming Clay Mask: on Amazon it's about $10.00)
(Bioré Charcoal Pore Strips: about $15.00)
Once a week, I exfoliate my face in the shower and if my face is extra congested, I use a charcoal face cleanser in my t zone.
(Equate Beauty Acne Scrub: about $3.00)
(Bioré Charcoal Acne Clearing Cleanser: about $7.00)
Once all that is done, I exfoliate my feet. My feet get really callused and rough because I dance everyday so this helps keep my feet looking some what decent. Finally, I apply lotion all over because my skin is really dry.
(Bath & Body Works Snowflake Scrub: about $25.00 (If you can't afford this, it's very easy to make your own. This is a sugar scrub btw.)
(Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon Body Cream: about $13.00)
These are all of the products I use. I'm aware I'm missing some steps but I'm not willing to spend anymore money on skin care. These are the products that work best for me. Not all of these will work for you. Also, I'm not a skincare professional and I don't claim to be. Do what's best for your skin!
