Wrong

This entire thing turned into a horrible mix between the American, Traum, Camelot and Babylonia Singularities and a GudaGuda event.

The only good thing to happen is we now have Assassin Oichi as a Servant

(Sidenote: Avenger Nobu, Jason, Duryodhana, and Kriemhild are never allowed to plan my birthday parties ever again. Why in Crown's Name did you think starting a gang war was a productive way to get a present?!)

It just occurred to me, was Toichi a Zoroark in your phantump au, or was he a human trainer that Kaito is avenging?

Toichi is his trainer technically but they both found this little baby zorua who is crazy smart—i imagine he tried to steal some food from them during a picnic and they were like “oh he’s perfect”

Honestly forgot about Jii whoops—he definitely knows about the pokemon thing but it doesn’t change much with how they interact. While we’re at it, I’ll add in that Aoko knows, too—the only thing she doesn’t know is that he’s Kaito KID

jk i have to explain more about the au that i came up with as i was drawing bc like ya know

anyway so steve was a really weak trainer growing up but he always had his loyal gastly who tried his best to protect him right and he eventually met a really nice professor (dr erskine) who helped him level up his gastly to evolve him into a haunter and also helped him catch more pokemon (aka the howling commandos maybe?) to build a full team before team rocket killed him

then a bunch of stuff happens idk cut to the train scene where steve is battling against team rocket and he brings out his last pokemon (haunter) and team rocket blasts a hole in the side of the train to try to escape but haunter gets sucked out bc physics and stuff and then steve goes to grab him, haunter somehow evolves into gengar to try to save himself but its not enough and gengar falls

gengar gets hurt losing his arm and then is found by more team rocket members and because they dont have any potions + they are evil they experiment on him and give him a metal arm and level him up a lot

meanwhile steve goes on a quest with the rest of his team to take down team rocket and try to avenge his beloved partner pokemon and somehow i guess the plane scene happens and one of his pokemon uses an ice type move to save steve and all the other pokemon? idk

and then cut to the "current" day when hes been found but hes not captain unova hes just some 20-something trainer and 5 pretty strong pokemon from the 1940s

somehow he comes across a mysterious gengar who has been passed from different team rocket leaders and then he realizes hey thats my old partner but gengar doesnt recognize him so they have to battle but the team rocket leaders and gengar keep escaping until the helicarrier scene where steve and his team are losing and steve goes "im with you til the end of the line" just before gengar knocks steve and his current/last pokemon off the edge and steve manages to get his pokemon into a pokeball before landing in the water but theres no serum boosting his swimming so hes sinking until a ghostly powered metal hand grabs him and drags him to shore because he remembers now who his real trainer is and they hug and its cute and they go on to take down team rocket together the end

tl;dr the winter soldier is literally a ghost XD

Was rotating Redtail in my brain and thinking about a couple AUs i've read about where Redtail acted as a spiritual guide or in some way was tied to Firepaw/heart because he was destined to both avenge and take Redtail's place as deputy.

And then I remembered how Bonefall Rewrite Redtail is super by the books and doesn't like to defy the laws set in place. And the thought of this poor guy being stuck with Firepaw/heart, who walks into camp and starts breaking ALL of the rules with no hesitation is so funny to me. He'd die again from a heart attack.

Redtail was actually lucky that Spottedleaf died shortly after he did, because you're SO RIGHT he would HATE IT. He would be SCREAMINGG.

Bonefall Redtail would constantly be waiting for Fireheart to use the ~proper channels~ to gracefully summon him, then go weeks without a call, peak down at Earth and see him like,

RULE BREAKING. FEEDING ANOTHER CLAN'S MEDCATS. VISITING PRINCESS.

QUESTIONING THE CODE!!

Redtail would HATE being his spirit guide, he'd DESPISE it. He'd give him advice and his bastard does the exact opposite. Mutual spite. Fireheart would reguard him with the same scorn as an unskippable Pokemon tutorial.

They'd be a team-up from HELL. They have chemistry as characters but in a coke-and-poprocks way.

mascot notes (i used precure mascots and jewelpets [sanrio supports genocide which i shouldnt have 2 explain Why That's Bad, but im simply using them references for if/when i draw or design them] for references. maybe i'll add pokemon like fennekin or buneary later)

lifty and shifty share a mascot and are a duo at the start because theyre together when they meet the mascot - maybe other characters will also share a mascot and be a team at the start but i've only really thought about the mains. i also didn't want to use the same animal as their htf counterpart so i kinda started winging it

so far...

lifty and shifty's mascot will be a fox, bc foxes are often associated with slyness and cunningness. au where they're tom nook and redd's adoptive sons and after their dad's divorced- i'm joking i'm joking. i've contemplated naming him lucky, but who knows if i'll stick with that. dont have any real personality notes though, but obviously he's willing to bribe them.

splendid's mascot will be a dog. specifically a dig with longer floppy ears. i dont know why, but him with a puppy resonated with me i also really miss my beloved hershey, and just having a pet in general. while they dont have a name or a gender yet, i'm imaging them to be a very loyal type who cheers everyone on and, when there's no fighting evil to be done, loves to play. if i go the high school route (or maybe even college route...) they are vety bad about accidentally causing disruptions and everything thinks that the stress of being a model student is making splendid lose his mind.

with splendont and flippy, i just chose animals i liked and are popular for cute magical animal characters. splendont is getting a kitty. personality-wise i'm not sure what i'll go for. maybe a stubborn and impulsive type that tends to push his buttons. or a graceful and calculated cat that is stoic and cold at first but shows a true warm heart as they grow close to others. the forner would have a lot of arguing, the latter would let them both bond over being similar, as well as let splendont show a slightly less confident kitty that they are worthy and kind despite taking time to warm up to others, that they aren't alone.

for flippy i chose a bunny bc i like bnunies. hippity hoppity. this bunny i think would be the most gentle, caring sweetheart ever - but if you hurt their fruends, they'll stop at nothing to get revenge. maybe a sad backstory with a friend dying due to the big bad, and wanting to help to stop the villains as an act of revenge, despite knowing it wont bring back their friend. thus would strengthen flippy's resolve as a hero - fliqpy was the one that wanted to do it for the most part, and flippy was nervous about it (canonically he Did join the army [though he probably wouldn't have in this au] but i think weird magical shenanigans are a lil more concerning bc a talking rabbit comes out of nowhere and tells you to magically transform and fight monsters, and while you do want to help and save people and fight for whats right, this weird magical business is weird and comcerning) especially because bunny seems so sweet and kind. fliqpy thinks revenge seeking is cool and as long as he gets to keep beating up monsters, he'll help bunny avenge their friend.

next i gotta think of transformation trinkets... probably a watch like the yes precure 5 bc im basic. (im not a yes 5 fan but. i read what happened at the end otona precure and 🫤 i. i uh dont like that. at least i didnt get invested, like the devil is a part timer... but i'll stop rambling about uncomfy endings. this a blog for the 'cute animals die gruesomely every episode' show)

Terastal Irregularity (a Magopon AU fic)

Chapter 3: Dreams and Tales Lost to the Stars

//Teal Mask spoilers ahead, be prepared

“Wa? Magolor? What do you mean by that?” Sailor asked, not understanding what Magolor meant. “Is anyone going to tell me anything? What’s happening? I can’t get anything!” She said, wanting to know. Magolor looked like he didn’t want to talk but,Meta Knight did not want a lie. He wanted the truth, and Magolor is going to give it him. He sighs and says, “Well, I suppose I better start talking. You saw how I handled Dipplin earlier. That crystallized state is called ‘Terastallization’. It’s a phenomenon in the Paldea Region.” He pauses, giving everyone time to let it sink in.

“I never thought that I’d open the can of worms this early, but it is what it is. Anyway, this little tale that I’m going to tell you starts in the Land of Kitakami. Well, at least parts that are important. My name was Ogerpon, the so-called Ogre of Kitakami’ but there’s more to the tale. Long time ago, a friend and I were traveling until we came across Kitakami. But because we looked different, we were cast out of the village and we had to stay at a mountain. Honestly, nothing really changed except us staying in one place. No one bothered with us like helping kind, but there was someone that took pity on us. The village mask maker.” Once again Magolor paused, taking the Teal Mask from his head, looking at it for a while then continuing,

“He made the masks, yes the Teal Mask was part of it, so we could attend the Festival of Masks. Soon enough, we were the talk of the festival. Word spread about the beautiful masks here and there. And it only took three lousy Pokemon to ruin it all.” Tears now started to fall from Magolor.

“When I left that fateful day, I never knew it was the last time… I… I would see my friend. I don’t know what happened, and that hurts me! If only I knew… when I returned to the den, I only found… my Teal Mask… and signs of a struggle. It Arceus damned stung!” He said, tears now flowing down, close to a breakdown. Meta Knight may have suspected Magolor hid so much, but he never expected it to be so much. So much to the point that it would trigger an emotional breakdown. “I never thought… that it would be this much. No wonder he didn’t want to share the tale. I can keep Sailor quiet about this. And because almost no one studies that far in time, they would take him for crazy.” Meta thought, shocked at the amount of emotional baggage Magolor had.

“Magolor?” He asked to the mage, who was still crying, blaming himself. “Magolor! Calm down. Take deep breaths, follow my lead. In, out, in, out.” Meta said, trying to calm Magolor. The mage was able to, but he still looked pained. “S-sorry. I-I’ll continue now.” He said, pained by what was going to be said next, but still powered through with it, though Meta Knight tried to make him stop. “Those l-lousy idiots, t-they took the other three masks. The Hearthflame Mask, the Wellspring Mask, and the Cornerstone Mask. I made them pay, pay for that. They were killed by me… and I regretted everything. They were revered as the heroes and me as the villain. Is it so, so wrong to avenge someone?! Ever since that day, that cursed day, I never showed my face to anyone.” Magolor said angrily while also staying calm.

“This little thing between me and the villagers stayed the same… until she came. Juliana, a student from Paldea. The first time I met her was during the Festival of Masks. I could tell she wasn’t a local. So I thought I could interact with her as a child. All went to the drain though, because I accidentally dropped my mask. Not wanting to be suspected, I left. Unfortunately, I was forced to leave the mask. Juliana was really kind, she returned the mask. But somehow, those Lousy 3 came back to life! I got my butt kicked immediately. I’m forever thankful both of them. Carmine.. I hear she used to be harsh, but she mellowed down. As for me, I wanted to go with Juliana, but Kieran, Carmine’s brother, wanted me to go with him.. and he challenged Juliana with a Pokemon Battle that she ultimately won.” He said, looking much better now. Ultimately, he decided to continue.

“Not to brag but, I’m one of the few Pokemon that can Terastallize by will without going berserk. Most Pokemon, like Dipplin here, need help from either the Galapagos idiot or a Tera Orb. Said idiot is not doing his job. Why did Briar get all fired up about the idiot in question is a mystery to me down to this day.”

“What?” Meta Knight asked Magolor.

“An onion.” Magolor snickered, continuing their little conversation. “Well, we should keep moving. The place with the most Tera energy is just around the corner, this way now!” He smiled, leading the way. Magolor himself was now in a good mood and considering the emotional breakdown he had earlier, this was better.

“Well, we’re almost there, prepare your eyes for a heck of a view. Tera energy gathers up in there. So you may see crystallized objects on the way. Aaand here we are! The Terastallized Caves. A.K.A, our destination, and a chunk of the Underdepths of Area Zero.” He said acting like a tourist guide.

“I- wow, it’s beautiful! And the energy clumped themselves into these crystals?! The readings are getting really high! And is that a tree?! How?!” Sailor queried, unable to comprehend the view before them. “Dunno anything about how they form. All I know is that they come from the idiot. I’m sure he’ll love your questions.” Magolor replied, then tapped the tree twice. “All we’ll have to do is wait.” “Umm.. how long?” Sailor Dee asked. Magolor then looked at the direction of the caves, but nothing came. “What in the name of the Original One is going on. Sure he’s an idiot, but he doesn’t completely ignore the code.” Magolor said, moving toward the caves. “Hey! Idiot! You there?! Oh come on. You’ve got to be kidding me.” He said, not receiving any response from Terapagos.

Heathers Pokemon AU Part 2 (3/?)

Wow I cannot believe I am writing this much about a stupid Idea I had during work lol

So they beat the E4 through the power of friendship and homosexuality and eventually they get to Big Bud Dean who reveals his plans to take over the world and blah blah generic bad guy stuff

JD comes and confronts him and he reveals that JD's mom was also close to finding out the truth and he had her killed to protect his doings

This enrages JD and he initiates a battle

BBD's Team: Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regidrago, Regieleki, Mega Metagross (All of these pokemon can learn explosion)

Any time one of JD's pokemon comes close to beating one of his, he uses Explosion, defeating whatever was on the field

The explosions trigger him but he shakes it off bc he has to do this, he needs to avenge his mom

He ends up beating his dad and the gym leaders come in with the PokePolice and everyone gets arrested, woooooo happy ending

I'm probably gonna write the rest of it later, I've wrote like 8000+ words about this and I'm tired

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

30! Which most of them are for Nameless lmao

2. What's your total A03 word count?

304.751, about to go up again lol, probably another 80k in this month, 268,863 have been in 2023, lol. I spent a large portion of time not writing, but after my breakup this year I've started writing frequently again.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Right now really just pokemon, if something else comes to me I'll write it, I'm working on a dragon ball z fic, but I don't touch it a ton.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

This is sad for me cause they all suck. I wrote them late high school early college, and they're all based on the Avengers movies (although one i think may have been the comics) it's a huge fandom, and I've had them up for 10 years so (god it's been that long already???) All of my good marvel 616 fics are missing, buried in a discord that I don't have access to anymore and word docs from a computer long since recycled

But in order, I feel Salem, Astronaut, Almost Honest, Wicked Games, The Whole World Was Moving But I was Standing Still (God what was with my names then lol)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to! Sometimes I miss them, but I try to respond when I see them, even a few weeks/months later. I really appreciate comments, and I feel like I've made some friends through them, or at least they comment on stuff I write, and I can reference my other fics to them lol, though they can totally make friends on here or discord, happy to talk to anyone. I've had people tell me I inspired them to write which is seriously the highest honor.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

ummmm prolly the one where Tony dies after Steve cheats on him, I think that one is 616 based, but don't quote me, or go read it, the writing is...undeveloped, I think at that point I just started writing them, my characterizations weren't great, they got better but none of that is available lol

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Ummmmm maybe Ode to my Soulmate? I can't do sad endings for the most part, my philosophy is real life sucks so I always try to make happy endings, Frank Left has a nice ending, that one gets almost no love, but I adore it.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I'm not good enough/big enough to get hate, lmao. Smaller fandom now, i think there might be some negative comments on the marvel ones but I haven't read those in yearsss.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I'm trying, Oral Fixation is my most recent published, but I'm working on one where Green gives Red a blowie in his Neo Champ uniform from masters, i've been writing that since the neochampion uniforms came out months ago ahha. I'm not great at smut, but I'm practicing, fun fact I learned how to give a bj through fanfics, and used to get compliments all the time in my younger sluttier years lol (Pre-kid haha)

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Not anymore, I used to do 101 dalmatian crossovers lol, i doubt any are published, maybe on fanfic.net but i don't even remember my username haven't touched that since like 2011, i used to do x-men crossovers where various characters would have mutant powers, but i doubt those are published either.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so? I'm probably too small to get that kind of notice. I always welcome people to steal my aus and write their own fic with it (not copy paste my stuff, but write out the au the way they come up with with their own words)

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I doubt it, but anyone can, I might end up translating one or two when I finally start learning a new language, or maybe improve my output on spanish (i can read it but not write/speak/listen well lmao)

Yeah but this was high school and I don't think we ever posted them, again might be on fanfic.net, but like I don't even remember my username

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

I don't have a favorite, maybe reguri, or 616!stony which i don't read much anymore but will always hold a place in my heart, my oldest ship is probably rougexgambit

15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Blood Bank- but only because there is no ending, I'm going to continue that thing for the rest of my life, (at least quarterly updates lol although working on a new chapter now), there's also a reguri one that i wrote like 10k words on after i first started writing again, but it sucks ass, I don't love the plot to rewrite, I've written a lot more better stuff for them

16. What are your writing strengths?

I feel like I do pretty well with hints/twists. Certain characters I'm really good at writing, feel like I've gotten really good at world building, and coming up with off the wall aus. IDK i'm not good at pointing out my strengths.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Everything not listed above? Lol. No, probably missing edits and not noticing them until I'm reading the fic months later, I'm getting better at pacing and general flow, sometimes I overdo it on dialog, and leave out movement. Smut too, but i'm working on everything, the key is to just keep writing, also too many fics going at once,

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I typically don't do it unless I know the language, I'll just put it in english and say they said it in whatever lang. So like for Kalos I just say they're speaking Kalosian lol

19. First fandom you wrote for?

I used to tell stories with 101 dalmatians, but the first I ever actually wrote was from Stargate SG-1, I was like 10ish, I didn't post it, it's long since been trashed, but I was obsessed with Carter/O'neil and wanted them to adopt Cassie (i think that was her name, it's been years since I watched that show), first published is probably x-men i remember writing phoenix's force fics and posting on fanfic, might have done a ginnyxdraco for harry potter. These would be on my old fanfic.net or possibly livejournal, i don't remember,

I write all my fics for myself, so i really love them all, and go back and reread them often lol
