thank you for the ask! glad you enjoyed my other adhd!sara headcanons! sorry this took me so so long to get to, hopefully it's still relevant to you, and hope you enjoy!

-she definitely has a hard time staying still most of the time. she's always pacing or playing with her rings/fingers, or bouncing her leg, among a million other things, probably. on days when she gets extra restless it literally feels like her skin is crawling, like something inside wants Out, so she finds herself in the gym, usually with the company of ava, just like absolutely hammering down on a punching bag until she's Throroughly sweaty and exhausted, and then she usually manages to fall asleep in ava's arms almost the instant they're in bed

-on bad sensory days clothing is Hard and she struggles to find things that she can wear comfortably-enough, and usually it's like a light tank top and some type of comfy pants or shorts, because it's the only thing she can stand. unless it's ava's clothes, in which case that also has a better chance of not making her want to crawl out of her skin

-theres so many thoughts going on in her brain all the time, flitting by, and it can get loud in her head at times, and it's overwhelming, but the dull, continuous thud of throwing knives at a wall helps her sort through them and think more clearly

-sometimes she wakes up and she just knows it's going to be a bad sensory day, or a day where she just gets very overstimulated very easily, because the lights are too bright and everything's just a little too loud, she can feel her skin just a little too much, clothes are uncomfortable, her hair is uncomfortable, everything is just Uncomfortable. ava and the legends all do what they can to make it easier for her on those days, because a lot of them are neurodivergent and deal with the same kind of stuff so like they Know. sara is super grateful for it because she usually ends up with like a whopping migraine on those kinds of days and her energy is just Not There

-also, on those types of days, it can get harder to carry on conversations and talk verbally, because words get jumbled around in her head and it's even harder to force them out of her mouth, so a lot of times she'll use sign language and it helps a lot bc then there's one less layer of overwhelm to worry about

-stim/fidget toys!! i personally think a favorite of hers would be the Tangle, i'm not really sure why? i just think she would really like that one, and whenever i imagine sara using fidget toys it's almost always that one, but i'm sure there's others too, and if nothing else, her knives also do the trick.

-i know i've said this at least once in my other adhd!sara headcanons, but i think she'd definitely struggle with rejection sensitive dysphoria, and she gets scared sometimes that ava or the other legends will one day see her as a screw-up or a monster, and they're all very quick to assure her that they never will and that they love her a lot

-inspired by that episode where she could not get through a book until she was listening to it on double speed while running on the treadmill: that's the only way she can get through any books and actually absorb it. otherwise she just gets too restless and distracted. she does really like books though, as long as she has the ability to listen to it at a higher speed while she works out. or, occasionally also if ava reads to her, though not always, because that's something that is used to help sara relax/calm down and/or fall asleep, so, she doesn't always necessarily absorb the words being read to her

-she has trouble falling asleep a lot, because her brain just won't turn off, but ava knows all of the little tricks that help her fall asleep faster, like running her hands through sara's hair or tracing mindless patterns on her back. sometimes even that fails though, and she gets restless and frustrated Because she's restless, and she's tired but just can't sleep, and she's tossing and turning in ava's arms because laying still is too much but she still wants cuddles, so. ava usually brings out the big guns on those nights, which is to say. either a late-night workout in the gym, or sex, and almost always that helps sara release enough pent up energy to finally be able to fall asleep

-she also definitely loses track of time a lot, because well. when you have adhd and struggle with keeping track of time as it is, existing and living in the temporal zone does Not help that at all. ava tries to keep an eye on her with that, like. makes sure she still eats and drinks and sleeps and other important things, because sometimes it's just Hard to remember to do those things if she's really fixated on something

those are all that i can think of at the moment, though i wanted to come up with a couple more because i really do love adhd!sara, but alas. it's 1:30 AM for me at the time of writing this (though not at the time this will be posted lol) and i'm getting tired so. hope you enjoyed!

(This one isn’t really a headcannon) You know how Oliver thought Sara was dead when the boat went down then when they got separated again on the island? Sara thought Oliver was dead both times as well.

Sometimes when the league wasn’t watching, she’d find a way to Dance in her quarters, pretending like she was anywhere else.

A part of her hated herself for not coming back sooner because maybe she could’ve stopped the undertaking and Tommy’s death.

Scared of heights for a while after Thea kills her. She tries not to show it around her because she knows that Thea feels guilty about it. But she has Roy do roof patrol for a while.

Finds the nearest bottle of Vodka and drinks the whole thing after finding out Tommy died.

After Avalance gets together, Sara Doesn’t sleep in the same bed as Ava for a while, she always either slips out soon after Ava falls asleep because she can’t comprehend the fact that Ava loves her even after knowing all that she’s done. And she can’t shake how Ava is so gentle and how she touches Sara like she’s something precious. (This one is slight self projection.)

Because they don't share a common language Aval has taken to calling his little ballast friend 'Phuu' (pronounced Fuu with an emphasis on the Fh- sound) primarily because his friend is prone to making similar sounding 'puu' noises when expressing his emotions and trying to communicate something in his own way. Phuu also communicates via whistles, burbling, popping, and a variety of squeaks that scale in pitch depending upon the situation. Aval is so used to his little friend's sounds that he even tries to mimic them as a way to communicate and he feels that he's quite good at it even if he's not actually saying anything. He especially enjoys humming and whistling both with and for his companion.

→ É necessário ser uma pessoa bem enérgica para conseguir estar na mesma vibração que o Lele, ele definitivamente não é quieto — gosta de explorar e exercitar os próprios interesses sempre que possível.

→ Da mesma forma, ele quer ser incluído no seu mundo. Então vai tentar apreciar seja lá quais hobbies você tenha. E mesmo que ele claramente deteste alguma coisa, ainda te faz companhia — pois é uma maneira de se conectar melhor contigo.

→ O Chenle é uma borboletinha social e isso exige uma certa carga de independência, então ainda que eu o veja como um amante muito presente, isso não significa que você vai tê-lo por perto 24/7 — mesmo nos dias mais carentes dele.

→ Ainda que eu tenha descrito o Lele como sendo meio acanhado em "pedido" — sob o aval de ser o início do relacionamento, devo acrescentar —, eu acredito que, com intimidade suficiente, ele perca essas travas com muita facilidade. É o mesmo que perder as inibições com quem ele ama, como eu falei a alguns pontos atrás. Em algum ponto, ele vai se tornar bem direto sobre as próprias vontades. Não esconde o que quer de você.

→ A libido dele é relativamente alta, esse homem ainda é jovem e tem bastante energia. Sexo também vira um hobbie e ele gosta muito de aprender nesses momentos — não ironicamente, ele adora transar por diversão. Aprecia que a experiência seja descontraída, então tem muita conversa, algumas risadinhas e ele é BEM expressivo quando você faz algo que ele gostou.

-so evil!sara finds out that og!sara and ava are together, and she's hit with a huge wave of just. jealousy and longing and sadness, because from what she knows/understands, og!sara and ava are so happy together, and so in love, and she knows she'll never have that, any of that, least of all with doctor sharpe

-she doesn't have any friends on the evil!waverider either because she'd already fallen out of good graces with them and now she's just a silent assassin/killing machine to them so. it's even worse because she's left to just. stew in all of it by herself but she Can't talk to any of the evil!legends, both because none of them are on her side, and also because well. they made her silent for a reason.

-and it's not even just the fact that og!sara and ava are together and happy, it's just. it's Everything. everything she tried to be and failed, because she tried so so damn hard to be good, to be better, and it backfired and blew up in her face, and it's the fact that the og!legends are a team and a family and og!sara is at the heart of that and all of it fucking Hurts

-because she wants that goddammit, she wants all of that and she has exactly none of it and she never will. there's no chance of being with doctor sharpe in any meaningful way, the rest of the evil!legends have all been brainwashed by evil!gideon so there's no one on her side that she could ever trust or turn to, and she's pretty much just a pawn/machine to them, made to carry out orders and kills, because her attempts to recognize that maybe they weren't the good guys like they thought, and that they'd been lied to and manipulated and programmed did nothing but end with her voice being stripped away, until she has no choice but to be their silent killing machine

-it's all of that, and she can't do anything but stew in the hurt and the pain and the longing and the anguish so. yeah. there's some pretty big pent up feelings by the time the evil!legends and the og!legends meet for battle

-she has no outlet for any of it other than the things she's made to do, so. yeah. she ends up hitting og!sara extra hard while they're fighting, using all her power and not letting up, not relenting

-but of course og!sara is functionally immortal and invincible now, so. it doesn't have as much of an effect, because she keeps coming back, and the two of them keep fighting, and fighting Hard

-evil!sara is frustrated and a million other things so she just keeps going and going and going until eventually the og!legends enact their whole "outsmarting the evil-robo!legends" plan and she pulls out her own cpu

-og!sara is glad for all the fighting to be done because she may be immortal and invincible but damn she kinda forgets how powerful and deadly she can be and evil!sara was Relentless so. she's kind of exhausted and would love nothing more than a nap as soon as they fully take back the waverider and get it all situated

-she noticed a lot while she was fighting evil!sara though that she ends up reflecting on just slightly later, and it. makes her sad, and grateful, and probably a million other things because she noticed, she could Feel the pain and the longing and the anguish that evil!sara was carrying around, just in the way that she fought, and she also noticed that evil!sara was completely silent the whole time, and the whole thing in general just kinda shakes her, and she kinda has to come to terms with the reality that evil!sara must've been living in, and it just generally unsettles her, and it makes her appreciate all the good things she's surrounded with that much more in turn

((Aval's name---with the French etymology being en aval meaning downstream or downhill---was bestowed upon him with the intent to inspire. It's a name that reminds him that starting at the bottom of something is necessary and that descending is just as important as ascending.

His name is also a subtle nod to his overall journey and how he's constantly following/chasing after both the water that he; to say nothing of the world at large, so desperately needs and the 'current' made up of the people who lived across the land before he did, be it through their abandoned dwellings and other structures, their letters, and so on. He is equally swept along by both things and endeavors to share his experiences with others on top of seeing where said currents will take him.))

For the character opinion bingo: Azwel!

OH BOY!

Part of me wishes there were extra slots on this bingo card that are along the lines of "I'm supposed to hate this fucker's guts for what he did in canon, but I end up going feral for him anyway."

He sort of reminds me of a Disney villain from the Renaissance era and why I loved them so much growing up (they even gave us a Disney death in Libra of Soul dammit!).

I'll admit that Azwel's design is wacky and over the top and I was put off by it at first (doesn't help that the thing he wears as his lower robes are a stuff of nightmares to draw), but it works for the reason that it perfectly describes who he is and what he represents: He's flamboyant, he believes himself an authority, "a shining ray of light" to the masses if you will, he knows exactly what to say to you, he worked hard to get the power that has.

But he also represents the uglier side of humanity as well, he's unhinged as hell, the type that believes he's untouchable, one that doesn't believe himself nor anyone else to be human anymore despite his obsessive love for the human race.

To the common folk who don't know him and his followers alike, he's like a God lending a helping hand to aid them in their darkest hours or, to Raphael in a sense, an ally that wants nothing in return.

But to us, the Conduit, Grøh, Amy and the Aval Organization, he's a sadistic and manipulative liar that sheds croc tears to the suffering of others when the reality of the matter is, he enjoys it a bit too much.

Not to mention his outfit kinda does look like a unique take on what men in 16th Century Germany from certain social classes wore in the day, especially with the big flowy coats and tight leggings, surprisingly enough.

One headcanon I have for Azwel is that, according to his Soul Chronicle and the Museum, he comes from a family line of plague doctors (which wouldn't doubt it'll have repercussions in and of itself if his parents are the type that are part of a social class that pressures one to look good at all costs and/or are emotionally neglectful) and at one point in his life, he contracted a disease from one of the patients he helped his father take care of that ended up affecting his limbs for a good while (this event is what he credits to as one of the reasons he's putting so much time and research into saving the human race, which can be found in an entry in the Weapon section of the Museum of all places) and part of why I believe he walks a little funny after he was cured (could also be him trying to work around his outfit, or I could just be reaching and he could very well be just like that).

But would that justify anything that he's done? FUCK NO. It's why the Conduit's big fight with him in Ostrheinsburg Castle and then the Astral Chaos felt cathartic! You can't mess with people for so long and not expect to get your ass handed to you with all amounts of prejudice.

If I had to give my thoughts about death feeling like a slap on the wrist to the guy and have him come back as the Scholar of the Future, your guess is as good as mine, but I thought it'd be funny to use this clip (Volume Warning):
