(This one isn’t really a headcannon) You know how Oliver thought Sara was dead when the boat went down then when they got separated again on the island? Sara thought Oliver was dead both times as well.

Sometimes when the league wasn’t watching, she’d find a way to Dance in her quarters, pretending like she was anywhere else.

A part of her hated herself for not coming back sooner because maybe she could’ve stopped the undertaking and Tommy’s death.

Scared of heights for a while after Thea kills her. She tries not to show it around her because she knows that Thea feels guilty about it. But she has Roy do roof patrol for a while.

Finds the nearest bottle of Vodka and drinks the whole thing after finding out Tommy died.

After Avalance gets together, Sara Doesn’t sleep in the same bed as Ava for a while, she always either slips out soon after Ava falls asleep because she can’t comprehend the fact that Ava loves her even after knowing all that she’s done. And she can’t shake how Ava is so gentle and how she touches Sara like she’s something precious. (This one is slight self projection.)

hi anon!! thank u for the ask, n im so so sorry it's taken so long for me to answer!! i haven't been ignoring these asks, life's just been a lot lately n i haven't had much motivation or capacity to do them. but i'm hoping to get through the ~21 that are sitting in the inbox soon cause mod choco and i have smth really fun planned for the inbox afterwards!!

-it's no secret that sara's had a bunch of injuries throughout her life, so it stands to reason that old wounds would flare up from time to time and give her grief, and that ava obviously would want to help in any way that she could, so she starts getting really good at giving massages

-a lot of times after like rough missions or when any old injuries flare up, ava will bring out the really good lotions and massage oils and give sara a really good, deep back massage. it makes her relax so much and usually by the end of it, sara's like halfway to a really deep sleep for the night, and it sets her up for a really really restful night

-a lot of times during like, free time on the ship, the team will be hanging out n stuff, and if sara is sitting down while ava is still standing, then ava will just stand directly behind sara and idly give her little shoulder massages, not super deep or for any particular reason or anything, she just kind of absentmindedly does it as something to do with her hands

-sometimes sara gets really bad headaches or migraines, so when that happens, ava gives sara a really good neck and shoulder massage, just like really gets in there and puts pressure in the exact spots that sara needs it, and it helps relieve sara's headache/migraine so much, sara kinda just melts into it because it feels so good

-back when they still had ava's apartment in DC, sara sometimes would come home after a really long mission/a really long day or day(s), and just collapse on the couch with ava and lay her legs in ava's lap, for no real reason other than that just happened to be the way she dropped herself onto the couch, but ava made it a habit to massage her calves and her feet for a while, just to help her relax and ease the aching muscles. eventually though, everytime, sara would end up with her head laying in ava's lap while ava played with her hair and she pretended like she wasn't dozing off every 5 minutes

-whenever sara has a really bad/rough day and takes it out on some poor unfortunate punching bag, ava will usually find her in the gym working out her frustrations, her knuckles beginning to get pretty bruised and bloody, and in the softest voice, ava is always like "c'mere my love" and coaxes sara away from the punching bag, holds her hands still and massages them gently as a little unspoken way to remind sara to take care of herself and to take a break, so she'll just gently keep massaging sara's hands until she's lead them back to their bedroom where she's got their first aid kit ready to tend to sara's knuckles. it makes sara absolutely melt every single time, but she can never find the words to express how much that simple act means to her

Because they don't share a common language Aval has taken to calling his little ballast friend 'Phuu' (pronounced Fuu with an emphasis on the Fh- sound) primarily because his friend is prone to making similar sounding 'puu' noises when expressing his emotions and trying to communicate something in his own way. Phuu also communicates via whistles, burbling, popping, and a variety of squeaks that scale in pitch depending upon the situation. Aval is so used to his little friend's sounds that he even tries to mimic them as a way to communicate and he feels that he's quite good at it even if he's not actually saying anything. He especially enjoys humming and whistling both with and for his companion.

hey anon!! thanks for the ask! sorry it took so long to answer, and also sorry if this isn't at all the type of answer you were hoping for:

so tbh, i and also mod chocolate have thought about it kind of a lot, and honestly, i can't say that we think robo!sara would have gone to robo!ava to bring her on her side at all. it just doesn't seem much like something she would've done at that point.

because honestly, at that point, robo!ava had given robo!sara absolutely 0 reasons to trust her at all, and probably more so was actually giving her a few reasons to actively distrust her since she had been acting pretty shady and not very trustworthy.

robo!sara knew there was something off about dr. sharpe, knew there was something dr. sharpe knew that the rest of them didn't, and robo!sara was actively suspecting dr. sharpe of being behind the whole thing in the first place, so it just seems like it would be very... not in robo!sara's best interest, i guess, for her to go straight to dr. sharpe and try to bring her to her side instead of anyone else on the team. it made a lot of sense for us that robo!sara went to robo!zari first and foremost!!

((Aval's name---with the French etymology being en aval meaning downstream or downhill---was bestowed upon him with the intent to inspire. It's a name that reminds him that starting at the bottom of something is necessary and that descending is just as important as ascending.

His name is also a subtle nod to his overall journey and how he's constantly following/chasing after both the water that he; to say nothing of the world at large, so desperately needs and the 'current' made up of the people who lived across the land before he did, be it through their abandoned dwellings and other structures, their letters, and so on. He is equally swept along by both things and endeavors to share his experiences with others on top of seeing where said currents will take him.))

For the character opinion bingo: Azwel!

OH BOY!

Part of me wishes there were extra slots on this bingo card that are along the lines of "I'm supposed to hate this fucker's guts for what he did in canon, but I end up going feral for him anyway."

He sort of reminds me of a Disney villain from the Renaissance era and why I loved them so much growing up (they even gave us a Disney death in Libra of Soul dammit!).

I'll admit that Azwel's design is wacky and over the top and I was put off by it at first (doesn't help that the thing he wears as his lower robes are a stuff of nightmares to draw), but it works for the reason that it perfectly describes who he is and what he represents: He's flamboyant, he believes himself an authority, "a shining ray of light" to the masses if you will, he knows exactly what to say to you, he worked hard to get the power that has.

But he also represents the uglier side of humanity as well, he's unhinged as hell, the type that believes he's untouchable, one that doesn't believe himself nor anyone else to be human anymore despite his obsessive love for the human race.

To the common folk who don't know him and his followers alike, he's like a God lending a helping hand to aid them in their darkest hours or, to Raphael in a sense, an ally that wants nothing in return.

But to us, the Conduit, Grøh, Amy and the Aval Organization, he's a sadistic and manipulative liar that sheds croc tears to the suffering of others when the reality of the matter is, he enjoys it a bit too much.

Not to mention his outfit kinda does look like a unique take on what men in 16th Century Germany from certain social classes wore in the day, especially with the big flowy coats and tight leggings, surprisingly enough.

One headcanon I have for Azwel is that, according to his Soul Chronicle and the Museum, he comes from a family line of plague doctors (which wouldn't doubt it'll have repercussions in and of itself if his parents are the type that are part of a social class that pressures one to look good at all costs and/or are emotionally neglectful) and at one point in his life, he contracted a disease from one of the patients he helped his father take care of that ended up affecting his limbs for a good while (this event is what he credits to as one of the reasons he's putting so much time and research into saving the human race, which can be found in an entry in the Weapon section of the Museum of all places) and part of why I believe he walks a little funny after he was cured (could also be him trying to work around his outfit, or I could just be reaching and he could very well be just like that).

But would that justify anything that he's done? FUCK NO. It's why the Conduit's big fight with him in Ostrheinsburg Castle and then the Astral Chaos felt cathartic! You can't mess with people for so long and not expect to get your ass handed to you with all amounts of prejudice.

If I had to give my thoughts about death feeling like a slap on the wrist to the guy and have him come back as the Scholar of the Future, your guess is as good as mine, but I thought it'd be funny to use this clip (Volume Warning):
