Oh gosh thanks! I would, but I have no idea how to The Facebook. (no really I use it once a year for gishwhes and it’s pathetic watching me flounder through figuring out how to post stuff in the group page when everyone has literally given me direct links to the thing... I manage to occasionally catch livestreams when Misha or whoever post direct links, but anything beyond that might as well be in ancient Etruscan for all the good it’ll do me :P)

(which is really weird considering I used to be like 90% about the faceboops before I got on twitter-- so like 8 or 9 years ago-- but funnily enough it doesn’t work the same as it did in the olden days, and the only reason I still HAVE a fb account at all is for gishwhes, so... I have no motivation to figure out how to use it anyway. :P)

so i just bought a kind of horribly giant 120 year old victorian house and I AM GOING TO HANG THAT PHOTO IN MY FORMAL FOYER (that isn’t actually formal bc i’m painting it peacock blue with an orange shag rug and it will have a zebra printed settee and paisley sofa and a mirrored chrome chest and will be tacky and hilarious and just happy as hell) SO THAT WHEN ANYONE COMES IN THE FRONT DOOR THE FIRST THING THEY SEE IS COCKLES WITH THEIR CHONIES 

and it was super awesome to meet you!!! i hope the rest of the con (the first part of the con???) was as fun as that evening 💕

First of all, David looked SO FUCKING GOOD in that jacket oml. I had just watched his adorable interaction with @autumnwhisp and he had accidentally been covering Karson’s face LOL so when I walk up, I say, ���you are so cute” and he just goes, “I’m gonna block your face! Block your face!” We both laugh. I say, “you are very inspirational.” He says thank you and goes in for the hug. I twist in his arms and got this nice shot. I squeezed his arm and said thanks as I left and he said thank you back!

When David saw it in autos, he said “what a beautiful smile!” so that’s it, that’s when I died.

DND JANK~The Mobile Aimbot

So i was working on my current DND character Eilthana Autumnwhisper (pictured above with her childhood horse and pet tressym), when I accidentally stumbled across some hard-core, peasant-cannon level DND jank. I call it the Dazzleflash Dasher. (After my rogue's horse Princess Dazzleflash) Also my apologies, as I dont know how to insert a cut into posts. First lets cover an important thing about mounted combat: Your movement, and your mount's movement are independent of eachother, as examplified by the fact that it takes half you movement to mount, but the mount still gets all its movement. Also a "controlled" or domesticated mount (Like Princess Dazzleflash) can take one of 3 actions on its turn (Disengage, Dodge or Dash). You losing half your movement to get on your mount, doesn't cost your mount any of its movement either. meaning you can walk half your movement, get on the horse and dash its full movement.

The first bit of jank this means is, that an arcane trickster can dash, summon a phantom steed, mount and dash 120 feet. Allowing an arcane trickster to make a quick 165-foot getaway. (170 if you're a wood-elf like Eilthana) Now all of this is fine, until Tasha gets involved. Which takes this little detail of the rules, and uses it to break the game into several tiny little pieces. Because your movement is independent of your mounts movement, and rogues can sacrifice their own movement to gain advantage through the steady aim bonus action. you maintain all of the mount's movement. So if Eilthana starts her turn on Princess Dazzleflash, she can sacrifice her movement, gain advantage (and thus gain a free sneak attack) and then dash 120 feet putting her safely out of reach of most enemies. Combine this with the Sharpshooter to extend the range of her hand crossbow, and elven accuracy for an additional d20, and we have ourself a hyper-fast aimbot that most enemies cannot even reach as she travels across the battlefield at 120 ft per round. (Note I disclosed this to my DM in advance, and we both agreed that while it seems legal RAW, it would violate RAI for Steady Aim too much to allow it in our campaign.)
