"Anaana, the qasigia' 'tory more." Demanded Saa, ordering her mother around to prolong her awake time again. It was the second time this night she was asking for the tale. It seemed that Saa wasn't bored of the seals or romance yet. 

And Pitseolak wished for a quiet night, maybe a movie. It was a shame that her plans got delayed once more. Where was Mara when you needed her most? 

"Isn't it a bit late for a story?" Asked a voice behind Pitseolak's back. The woman didn't turn. Maybe her prayers were heard after all.  

Mara crossed her arms before her chest, eyeing her daughter shy away behind her covers, mumbling about unfairness and how: 'anaana sound calm.' Both women shared a look, and Pitseolak shrugged. Mara wasn't as good of a storyteller as her wife and thus couldn't make the final decision for her. 

"But after, you sleep." Negotiated Pitseolak finally. 

Saa nodded, making her hair fly as she did. She dropped to a laying position, the covers tucked under her chin and her eyes shining bright.  " - The Seal's Tale, extrait.

To be fooled. This is the honest premise of this non-exhibition, which chronicles Sebastien Pesot's unsuccessful attempts to bring SPUNKT ART NOW to fruition at Howl! Happening in New York. Originally scheduled for April 3, 2020, the event will be postponed again and again, then cavalierly canceled by the administrative management of Howl! Like many projects swept away by the pandemic, the lack of consideration for the deal and the accumulation of disappointments pushes Pesot to reverse the faux pas. Thus, he explores the limits of fake news by creating a real fake New York exhibition... presented on April 3, 2022. Autopsy of a hoax? Construction of a sweet revenge? Documentation of indignation? All and none of these at the same time. The ease of faking and accessing information makes our ability to distinguish truth from falsehood more and more complex. If the hoax has always insinuated itself into artistic practices in order to destabilize, it also seems to contribute to legitimize what is apparently false. Let us think in particular of the consecration of Duchamp's Fontaine, which from a hoax redefines the parameters of the work of art in the 20th century. In this sense, the New York exhibition may have really existed... Era of Post-truth or Infocalypse?
