What is your absolute favorite Hualian fic? Or fics if you can't choose. (Mine are yours!)

You’re very sweet to me.

My all time favorite is: Hold the Quiet of my Heart by moonsteps. It made me cry a ton. It made me feel warm and safe. It’s very Hualian with their fast-slow burn and their easy domesticity and their support through their issues. Genuinely did a lot for me emotionally and I think of it a lot.

I honestly like all of moonsteps stuff. Other fic authors I pretty much read everything they post are: astrocosmos, b_ofdale, and Linisen (though I think I still haven’t read all her older stuff to be honest, I mostly keep up on her multichapters)

Hi! It is hard to find tgcf fanfics for some reason :( if anyone wants to send me prompts for oneshots I’ll do my best to write something? Anyway, I’m actually fairly picky on what I read and only bookmark things I would want to read again, so here’s a small list of recommendations:

“A gift of silver” by KingfisherPrince - Post canon, this one has ghost husband shenanigans!!!

“Matchmaker, Matchmaker” by pengiesama - I have this one saved in my bookmarks as “This fic is dumb and beautiful, just like Shi Qingxuan, and I love it so much.” This is an AU where Xie Lian tutors ghost king Hua Cheng

“Glimpses of you” by Naamah_Beherit - I have enjoyed pretty much everything I have read from this author, every time I search through a fandom tag and find their name I’m like!!! Naamah_Beherit is at it again!! I should really look through their list of works, but I keep forgetting. This is on the angsty side, with a dash of determination and hope from past Hua Cheng.
